A whopping 2 band score improvement in writing can only mean someone needs to be sanctioned. It can never be an acceptable error of judgement, a lots of questioning must be done with the scoring system of markers within Nigeria. In my opinion anything beyond 0.5 variance is not fair enough.

Here is to both share my testimony and also encourage someone that's indecisive.
Like I've stated somewhere on earlier on the thread, I wrote my IELTS on the 4th of June with the following result
L 8.5
R 8.5
W 6
S 7
I went for the result on the 20th of June & I didn't even bother to take it out refusing, rejecting and submitting for EOR, Long story short, 7weeks on, today I got my reply with the following result
L 8.5
R 8.5
W 8
S 7. My speaking was not increased but I forgive them TWO (2) whole band increment on my writing.
So here's my big thanks to all those that shared link for IELTS prep way back. iphie28 (sorry if I miss the figure) et all, now I can boldly say THANK YOU & GOD BLESS YOU

Very similar indeed and I submitted it for EOR on the 20th too (I didn't bother taking it out at all) And yes, lisrening isn't something I want yo face again plus my 8.5 can't just go to waste. Keeping my fingers crossed and most importantly praying & trusting God for a more lenient examiner to handle my EOR. I will be praying for you too now for a favorable outcome for us.

No they cant. Environmental Impact Assessment of those illegal refineries can not pass.

Illegal refineries is a big detriment to legal refineries. Those nincompoos are damaging crude oil pipelines to steal crude oil and then refine illegally. Attack on the nations crude oil pipeline is likely an attack on the nations refinery.

Pardon their shallow thinking. From what i heard most of the outputs of those refineries can not be used in a car, it is at best used in motor bikes. One of the reasons why our refineries are also failing is that pipelines carrying crude oil to those refineries are damaged by vandals along the line by crude oil thieves.

Anytime illegal refineries is mentioned, they always scream encourage them gullibly. Is it river water that they are refining in those illegal refineries? mtseew.

What has this question got to do with stealing crude oil? Vandalising pipelines? Polluting the envt?.. When pipelines are vandalised in bid to steal crude oil, even the Nations refinery will fail.

As a child i had a similar problem, infact i was always promoted on trial from my first schooling class of Nursery 2 to pri 2. At age 4, i was enrolled in nursery 2. By the time i got to pri . 2 , my new teacher mr bayo one day looked at me and said he has had enough of me, i simply wont talk, and i remember as a 5.5 yrs old boy, i could barely mention my name. he took me to headmasters office so i could be demoted to pri 1. , maybe d saving grace was the headmaster wasnt in office. he returned me back to class and i suspect he decided to henceforth give me special attention. By 2nd term i had improved drastically, and i had a position that earned me a prize from my teacher, the 18th position. . It was the worst position i would ever be placed afterwards in any competitive academic environment. It was my turning point. I suspect you allow d teacher focus slightly more on him at least for a term , the teacher should be rewarded with extra tips. If there isnt any improvement after a term, change his school.
