I replaced the charging port yesterday and it is still very slow. Like it takes more than ten minutes to add 1 percent. Chai what a sad end for a beautiful new phone.

It does. You probably aren't a sound person. Even on the main speakers you feel it talk more when you have good headphones or speakers.


If you download music files of 320KBps or FLAC you should notice it very well. That is when you can get the rich sound.

Not all these 128KBps music people download from naijaloaded, audiomack and the likes.

lol I’m not a tecno fans but for the bolded, tecno wins hands down. It’s easier to repair and resell tecno phone compared to xiaomi! .

Let’s face it, xiaomi is only popular on nairaland, none of my circle is using the phone! It’s either Samsung or iPhone .I’ve only seen the product( xiaomi) two or three times physically ( I’m serious ).
Which means I’ll go for popular device .
And tbh , I really can’t buy phone cos of gaming , after all ps5 Dey nah . I know we have different reasons for buying phones but gaming will never be part of reasons for me to buy o. All I need is large storage very strong battery and multi tasking cos I use heavy apps and I fit open 20 apps in a go. Although I will never spend over 200k on android wey no be Samsung

Probably it has gone bad. Umidigi cables go bad after 4 months. Their charging ports hardly go bad.

Try buying an original cable.

Then the culprit of this might be from your charger or cable. You need to test each of them to see the one at fault and also make sure your cable is well fixed or plugged firmly in your charger head.

Change the usb otg dongle adapter, it may have failed. That was what happened to the one I bought that I was using to transfer files btween my external hard drive and phone.

No be only it is not AMOLED like that it is semi LCD. Nothing I no go see for here. Until you are billed 50k+ for a replacement before you know it is AMOLED.

As for the tempered glass if you didn't use a tempered glass made for this phone please do.
A phone that bears one of Samsung's latest E4 AMOLED display for third party OEMs is what you call not so AMOLED.

Even experienced reviewers have praised the display but your own metric of AMOLED is what I don't know.

There are various colour schemes adjust till you get to your own Taste of AMOLED. I for one uses Standard because it is Delta E accurate. Samsung uses Saturated colour scheme on their phones that makes look shouting but it is not colour accurate.
