Dantidote:Don't worry abt meeting d financial conditions for d visa. The award letter covers everything. The 28days rule does not apply to scholarshp-funded study frm recognized govt and corporate institutions- which nddc is among. For the visa processing time, it usually takes 2wks, 3wks up to 4wks at peak periods. One can still meet up as most UK schools resume last week (btw 28-30th ) of september, deadline extending to 1st week of Oct for int'l students. |

The latest report emerging frm nddc 2day shows that d nddc is waiting for Mr President to sign the budget that was just approved by d senate. My brother who is an nddc contractor met wt d chairman 2day who told him that. He even directed him to check if my name is on d final list wt from d director who unfortunately was not in d office. He will return on tuesday. So, I doubt if d sms will start coming in frm 2moro. Sorry 4 giving u false hope. |

I have an idea that can help us actualize this dream promptly. Pls I want us to move quickly to our facebook and twitter handles and start bringing to GEJ and Abati's notice about the delay in d shortlisting and d rumour of suspension we are hearing. Knowing fully well that GEJ is a listening president and very active on facebook, we can count on him to take prompt action on this. I believe this will work for us if we can be passionate, decorous and sensible in doing that. God will see us through. |

I wish we can have more of this set of people dying geometrically daily. This man used his position to allot most of d oil blocs to himself and d northern behemoth. Under his administration, NNPC, PPMC, DPR, PPRA, Refineries were littered with mediocres and school drop-outs frm the NW and NE. He nearly succeeded in relocating PTI in Warri to Kaduna but for d resistance of Niger deltans. What more can we say about a man who despite his education and experience, was largely responsible for the decay and corruption in the oil and gas sector. 5 Likes |

Politics / Re: Enugu Market Explosion: One Feared Dead, Sevearl Injured by EMMABC1(m): 11:31pm On Jul 19, 2014 |
Abagworo: Mode should please help rescue this thread from tribalists. As usual Abagworo will call a spade what it is. Igbos are the most politically backward people in the world. I just pity Igbos even though I'm one and therefore in a nutshell I have pity for myself. When a bomb was foiled in Imo State many Igbos celebrated it and were wishing that Imo State be bombed so that there will be crisis in Imo and some even went as far as associating the Governors political affiliation. I told them that day that what they wish Imo will 1st befall them and today Enugu has been bombed they are giving excuses. Igbos I'm appealing to all of you to please go learn how to play politics like your Yoruba and Hausa brothers who though not in power remain more relevant in all political parties while you've been relegated to the background. Keep investing your life earnings in other areas like Abuja, Lagos and Kano. Keep creating enmity between yourselves and Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba/Kogi/Plateau etc while the Ijaws and Yorubas extend their hands of friendship to everyone but yet invest at home. Keep feeling wiser than others and running down your own people because of money. Good morning!my friend shut up silly mouth and stop spreading false news. there was no bomb blast in Enugu today. 2 Likes |

This is false news being peddled around by some unscrupulous elements in the south east who want who want to further aggravate the situation in the country to achieve their sovereign state ambition. I called a school mate in Nsukka close to Eke Ozi market and confirmed that nothing like that happened today. If you further look closely at the alleged scene of bomb blast, you would notice that the smoke from the fire is not as thick and billowing as that bomb blast scene. how come in a bomb blast scene, only a year old baby died. where was her mother? what was she/he doing there? the hand-work of either massob or biafra zionist movement is written all over it. Even the last time I checked, no national online newspaper has reported the news because the report is not only unconfirmed but also false. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: RCCG Pastor Shot, Butchered In Borno by EMMABC1(m): 6:33pm On Jul 18, 2014 |
While I commiserate with the family of Pastor Dokun and RCCG, may I use this medium to advise all big yoruba-owned churches ( RCCG, Winners, Deeper life, etc ) to shun tribalism, nepotism and favouritism that have crept into their churches. A situation where about 97% of all pastors posted to different villages, communities, towns and cities outside southwest region are yoruba is clannish, nepotistic, unconventional, unchristian, unapostolic and condemnable. What is wrong in ordaining a native of a community or region where these churches are scattered and putting them in charge of the parishes? How will a yoruba pastor effectively propagate Christianity in my village where most of the church members speak and worship God in Igbo language? Are there other ulterior motives for running these churches that we don't know of? 2 Likes |
Politics / Here Is The Main Reason Why The Contraption Called Nigeria has remained stagnant by EMMABC1(m): 9:52pm On Jul 17, 2014 |
Just yesterday Arewa youths threatened the unity of this country with their provocative protest against the south, calling for the immediate dissolution of the nation. In the protest. they issued an ultimatum to all southerners living in the north to vacate immediately or face their wrath. Unsurprisingly, they went home free and safe from the torture and arrest that would have been meted to MASSOB members or Igbo man for what the security would term "treasonable felony" against the country. they were even sponsored by some political leaders in the north and their ego placatingly massaged by the emir of Kano on matching to his palace. Again this morning, Asari Dokubo in his usual vituperation and penchant for calling for war, threatened the unity of the country by descending heavily on the north and calling for war against the north. As usual he went home free and more powerful than the Nigerian security apparatus. Why would Nigeria loose sleep when massob carry out protest or gather to strategise on the ideology they believe in. Why is the Nigerian security ever on hand to arrest and torture massob and the BZM whenever they gather? Are these groups different from other secessionist movement in other parts of this country? Have we ever wondered why this country is not progressing? I think the answer is not far from injustice and hatred. |
