Report reaching Umuchiukwu Writers Media from Riverine Area of Biafra land Bayelsa to be precise has it that the Nigerian Joint Task Force are on Rampage in Latugbene community in Ekeremor Local Government Area. It was gathered that the invading Security Forces have killed so many innocent Biafrans in that area especially Youths, burnt so many Houses and other valuable properties. Reliable information revealed that the Security Forces were looking for the leader of a militant group named Avengers, General Amagbein . Though, the reason for the search is not yet clear at the time of this report.

Photos obtained have shown many houses and valuable properties burnt by these rampaging security Forces , putting fear in the minds of residents , as hundreds of residents living in the axis are forced to desert the area.

The Nigerian Security Forces have the history of killing their Citizens instead of protecting them, the incessant killing of innocent Biafrans and destruction of their properties must stop forthwith , the military should go back to the North to fight their fellow Kingsmen the Fulan1 terror1st .

When I say Niger Deltans , I mean Nigerians indigenous to the Niger Delta region of Nigeria comprises nine states namely : Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo and Rivers. The Niger Delta is one of the World's most important wetland and coastal marine ecosystems in the world . The Niger delta is a made up of oxbow lakes, river meander and prominent levees. Large freshwater swamps and mangroves.

To the average Niger Deltan, the abundance of water around him means nothing . He does not know what the scarcity of water means and that it has been predicted that by 2025, most countries of Africa and West Asia will face severe water scarcity due to increasing population and demands on water. He does not know that apart from drinking the water , swimming it and fishing in it, water can be used to produce hydropower by harnessing its energy. He does not know that compared to other resources that are used to produce energy and power, water is considered renewable as well as having the least solid waste during energy production.

While the people of the Niger Delta are ignorant of their inheritance and wealth and are busy slumbering.
While their governors and representatives both at National Assembly and State House of Assembly, Ministers , Commissioners and local government chairmen and counsellors and politicians are busy amassing wealth for themselves, trading and mortgaging their future and those of their unborn generations for a few bags of Ghana most go, relevance and freedom from prosecution for corruption . With your hue and cry , Chief Olusegun Obasanjo one of the architect of Nigeria's disaster gave you the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to develop your region but then the NDDC is not in your control.it is in the hands of the Federal government of Nigeria .

Last last , you sat back and allowed the federal government to pass the BANDITRY petroleum Industry Act just last year which now puts your inheritance into a limited liability company .

So in all these where is your gain ? This is the reason why you must not allow what happened to your oil and gas happen to your water . The Ndoki people are located South-South and South-Eastern Nigeria. In the South – South, the Ndoki people are found in Oyigbo Local Government Area of Rivers State. Besides their occupying parts of Rivers State, they have stretched out to another South – South State known as Akwa Ibom State. The Ndoki people who are located in Akwa Ibom State are found in Ukanafun Local Government Area specifically in a village called Ikot Inyang Udo (also known as
Oha Obu).
In summary therefore, the Ndoki people located in the South – South region of the country can be found in Oyigbo Local Government Area of Rivers State and Ukanafun Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State respectively, while their kit and kin in the South-Eastern region can be found in Abia State, occupying the Ukwa-East Local Government Area.

Take note that there is nothing like south south...it was concocted for the aim of divide and rule...The so called south south is the Eastern Region.

The Ndoki subgroup is at the South Easternmost part of Igbo land, straddling between Ukwa area of Abia State, Oyigbo LGA of Rivers State, and pockets of them in the Western limits of AkwaIbom State.

Some people in Ijoid groups like Okrika and Ibani are of Ndoki descent. The Igbo dialect spoken in Bonny and Opobo areas of Rivers State is that of the Ndoki.

The Imo river flows through Ndoki land on its way to Opobo.

Ohambele Ndoki was a notable slave depot in the past. Azumini was another market town, notable for oil palm trade at the dawn of legitimate trade.

The oil palm wealth of Ndọ̀ki, along with that of the Ngwá, Ibibio and Annang hinterlands 'had contributed to the wealth of the Opobo citystate, who along with other riverine citystates were the middlemen in the trade between the Europeans and the people of the hinterlands.

Some scholars argue that Jaja's resistance of the British was not out of the desire to stop imperialism but due to his desire to make more profit in the trade by controlling the oil palm markets in the hinterlands, as letting the British trade directly with the hinterland markets would bring decline to the citystate's economy..
