Abeg any update on the NASCON share bonus?
For anything that has to do with bonuses or sometimes right issue on NGX, you need a lot of patience. It's not as easy or straightforward as it's written on paper or being said.
Too many protocols behind the scene before the new shares will reflect on investors' accounts. The only thing is just to be sure you qualify once confirmed, relax the shares will show up on your cscs when you least expected. This is from experience.

I have stanbic MMF. I am trying to see if I can open another account with another fund manager because when I might be needing my money liquidated from stanbic, the app will not allow above N5 Million per day which is the maximum for the day. I don't want to spend the whole of 5 days to be liquidating small small because the opportunity I need the money for may pass me by.
I understand if I sent request by other method part from online redemption, I could get the money in one piece but it will take up to 5 business days. This will also mean I could miss on an opportunity which may not last more than 3 days in waiting.

What's your thoughts on this
It's not a bad idea to have more than one fund manager. It's advised so that there could be an alternative if there is any issue with one.
You can do SFS fixed income fund or Norrenberger MMF. They both operate the same way but reinvestment is at the end of each quarter, unlike Stanbic which is monthly. You can chat with me if you need further guidance.

I came across this post of yours about FSDH coral fund.
I am wondering if interest is on daily basis, why will they be keeping it and then paying every quarter.

Also the interest that enters for others like IBTC is on daily basis. Eg if I have 100,000 naira today, by next day I am seeing N100,054. Now when the second day interest is being calculated, will it be based on the initial 100k or the 100,054 I already have in my account
@vacanci though I no longer sell for FSDH, the way all MMF works except Stanbic is that your interest is accrued daily and it's paid/reinvested at the end of every quarter, even Stanbic that reinvests at the end of every month pays accrued interest every quarter.

For all MMF except Stanbic, if you pick reinvestment, will not pay interest on the accrued interest but rather on your capital. Your interest will start to earn after the reinvestment is done at the end of the quarter. Using the example you gave, interest will be paid on 100,000 even if your balance shows 100,054. The reason your accrued interest is included in your balance is to let you know that should you wish to terminate your investment, it's what is in your balance that will be paid to you provided your capital has been invested for up to 30 days otherwise you get your capital and less 20% of the accrued interest.

Currently, I'm with Investment One for stocks, Stanbic and Norrenberger for MMF, and Dollar funds and SFS Capital for fixed-income fund.

Pls is it late to participate in the government bond happening on Monday like they do with TB that the money has to be made available before the day.Do the brokers you work with charge extra cash for government primary bond purchase. If yes how much or percentage
The usual practice for all debt instrument subscriptions is that your funds should be in the account before the day of the subscription.
For the second question, my initial answer is no because the issuer pays a commission to the collecting agents but I will confirm this tomorrow.

does this rate work like the Naira MMF rate of Stanbic IBTC ?
What will be my daily interest on say, 30k dollars at this rate ?
Dollar fund works exactly like naira MMF.
Accrued daily and interest is paid/reinvested quarterly depending on your choice at registration.

Formula: P x R x T

P is principal
R is rate
T is time

Note: Rate is divided by 100
Time is divided by 365 days.

For a $30,000 investment, therefore,

Amount = 30,000 x 8.02/100 x 1/365

30,000 x 0.802 x 0.003

= $6.59

From this calculation, you will earn $6.59 daily and 6.59 x 365 = $2,405.99 per annum.

Remember just like Naira MMF rate, it's also not static. It's daily valued.

Please contact me for the form when ready for the investment, that is the way you can help my ministry.

Goodmorning Emmasoft;
You said retail investor that dont have up to N50million that still participate in the primary FGN Bond offer. Can you explain more details
Not necessarily the primary offer. I said retail investors can take advantage of Fixed-income funds to participate in FGN Bonds. Fixed-income fund particularly SFS fixed-income fund has FGN Bond as one of the major underlying assets, investing in fixed-income fund, an investor is indirectly investing in FGN Bond.

That means I cannot redraw the funds for at least 3 months else I will pay 20% of the interest accrued in the principal.

Also explain more of this," Purchase price is $103.52, yield of 10.57% " does it mean whatever I invest will be divided by 103.52 to get how many unit I own?
And I make 10.57% of that per month or annum?
The answer to your first two questions is yes.

The rate is per annum

Please how long does it take for stanbic money market fund top up to reflect on my account?
If you do a deposit before 12 noon using your bank app, internet banking or at the banking hall you get value and your money reflects same day.
But if you deposit through the app ie using your card it takes two working days.

Oga Ema, how can I do that on the app that at the end of each month my interest should be added to my capital?
You don't need to do anything. The accrued interest is added to your capital automatically if you opt for reinvestment of interest at the point of registration. If otherwise, send mail to customer care that you want to change your option to reinvestment of interest. They will send you a form to complete, once done, your interest will be added to your capital at the end of every month going forward.

Boss, for mutual funds account,

can two parties have access to it? like granting another person access through mandate form like in normal account?

Need a situation someone can manage or be able to withdraw it (either party can sign)
Yes, what you wish to do is possible. it means you will do a joint account. One of the documents you will sign is the signature mandate which you can structure based on what you want to achieve.

Good day sir,

I see you now promote stanbic mutual funds.

I have an issue. I created an account some days back and funded it (as the welcome email said I have to fund the account to be sent my login details.)

I have been trying to login since then all to no avail. Once I input the OTP they send me, I get the error message in the screenshot below.

I have sent them an email several times, no reply.

This is frustrating. Do you know anyone within the company I can talk to?
Sorry my Oga for the wahala. After payment did you receive an email from them giving you a password that you are made to change at your first login? If yes then you will need to call customer care. If not then you need to wait for the mail to be sent to you. See the attached for the new customer care number. Let your e-account number be handy before you call in case you are asked.
