Religion / Re: See What Pastor Kumuyi Preached This Morning That Surprised Many. by emmatador(m): 11:26am On Sep 16, 2016
SALVATION which is by CHRIST IS ETERNAL. John 3:16,
Hebrews 9:12.
SALVATION which is by CHRIST is NOT OF
WORKS (it does not matter if you are good or bad, moral or
immoral) it is of GRACE through faith in CHRIST JESUS
Ephesians 2:8-9.
SALVATION which is by CHRIST JESUS has
been OBTAINED ONCE AND FOR ALL- Hebrews 10:10. Hebrew 9

GOD's Word is clear, a person who believes that CHRIST has
been raised from the dead and that HE is ascended into
heaven, and that HE is the Son of GOD is saved Romans
10:9. And, as such, has been translated from darkness into
the kingdom of GOD- HIS dear Son- 1 Peter 2:9, Colossians
1:13. This salvation is not dependent on works.
It is simple, GOD is not counting nor imputing sin
against anyone all HE is doing is reconciling the world unto
HIMSELF. This is the Word of reconciliation that GOD has
given us to preach. 2 Corinthians 5:19, "To wit, that God was
in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing
their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the
word of reconciliation."

Oh, how GOD loves us! A gift is to be
received, CHRIST is the gift, we receive HIM Ephesians 2:9.
It is not dependent on works! Salvation is eternal not annual, biennial, quaterly, monthly, weekly, daily, hourly.
So you do not have to ask for forgiveness every time you commit sinful acts as a believer. Rather, you confess your righteousness in CHRIST Jesus because HE has come to justify you not condemn you. Romans 5:1, "Being justified by faith we have peace with GOD." Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in CHRIST Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit."
Remember GOD is not condemning the world so as to count sin against them. HE is reconciling the world unto HIMSELF. GOD knows they can't help themselves get saved that is why salvation is free and eternal; not dependent on what you do or will do or are doing but dependent solely on HIS grace (unmerited favour).

I celebrate you!

It is for her good if Dani goes not with Liam. First, she will be overly respectful and grateful and this would be a prison worse than that at home. Second, once Liam eats her apple continually he will possess a kind of ownership over her and I assure you, she will be his puppet- this will be the case even if she does not run away with him.

My advise to Dani is this, show a greater form of rebellion against your parent. For example, show up in mass with Liam your hands locked in his with a big smile on your face and his. Your parents will run mad in envy and remorse. But don't go anywhere, stay with Liam in Nigeria or pass the damn exam. Family sometimes may be horrible but it is not just blood. The connection is inexplicable.

Politics / Re: BREAKING: APC Appoints Rivers Governor, Amaechi, Presidential Campaign Director by emmatador(m): 12:41am On Dec 19, 2014
This is what Nigeria has turned to. The indiscriminate conferment of titles to assuage pain, anger or disgust. Presidential campaign director...what is that!?
Politics / Vote For Your Most Reasonable Sentiment. by emmatador(m): 5:57pm On Dec 18, 2014
The times we are in are times where we must all realize that we have a part to play in deciding the future of Nigeria. This nation approaches a new era- an era of fresh presidential and gubernitorial elections and I, for one, don't feel so good about it. First, we are in an era where great and glorious promises are being peddled by politicians and their helpers, casting a most desirable picture of Nigeria's future, stirring our emotions as to see what ought to be as against what ought not to be, and showing us in alluring pragmatism how they would take us to that glorious "neverland". Neverland because time and themselves have proven that all they make are just promises, and at the risk of sounding negative, is impossible to achieve as long as they are attracted by the sound of our collective coins in the Nigerian pouch. Second, is that in all truth in Nigeria and as Nigerians, we have nothing but our whims and sentiments to guide us. What guides us if not sentiments based on religion, tribalism, sex and age? This nation itself is
founded on sentiments, upon which the principle of federal character or "religious" character- if I am to say and as the case may be- is recognized. Everywhere, still, we hear people say don't vote based on sentiment, and some say, "We know our politicians are all bad, but exercise your right to vote and vote for the least bad amongst them." This is one hell of a sentiment held by those who say don't vote based on sentiment. We Nigerians have much more to think about than to begin to research the gravity of badness of a man. Even if it should be done, it is the job of our very own "corrupt" media, who I think determines whether you like a candidate or not, to the highest extent. To clear the air as to some objections that may be raised, the English Mini dictionary on my nokia E71 phone defines sentiment as "1. an opinion or feeling 2. sentimentality" . It defines "sentimental" from which the noun "sentimentality " is derived as "showing or having excessive feelings of tenderness, sadness, or nostalgia." This further proves that, the affairs of this nation from the begining till now have been governed on sentiments, and this saddens me, not based on the concept of sentiment itself, but that no law or rule have been established to govern in this regard. Law itself, I averr, is also sentimental only distinct by it's nature of bindingness upon the generality of the people.

My dubitable conclusion, therefore, is that in the coming elections and in whatever events that may govern our lives we should accept the best sentiment that appeals to us, with the brighter prospect to attaining general goodness or personal goodness as the case may be. Thus, as 2015 is concerned, I have a personal sentiment of mine. This is, vote for the man with lesser promises, most articulate in passing his point, whose side engages in lesser criticism of the other, appeals more to my intellect and personal interest and who has the most inspiring speeches. I guess the debates have so much to decide.
Vote for your dearest and most reasonable sentiment. Nigeria will turn out well.

Well I think the N10,000 reduction will be a very good development if implemented, since my parents think the acceptance fee is N20,000 that means extra money to save and do some more shopping(Don't think I won't tell them the truth because I can't afford to loose their trust I will simply tell them what I need the 10k for) Thank you God. So, is there any other development?

OAU Senates Finalize Resumption Dates After a lengthy discussion between the senate and members of the teaching staffs on Wednesday February 8th 2012, the following dates are agreed upon. Freshers are to resume on 26th of Feb. while stalites will resume by 4th of March for 2011/2012 academic session. This occurred as a result of series of complaints leveled by the lecturers(except PHD) about their inability to secure a normal sabbatical leave for almost a decade now. This is however a welcome development which will strengthen and solidify the incessant academic growth of OAU since inception. Anyway, i wish all the students(Freshers & Stalites) of Obafemi Awolowo University a successful and stress free academic session. "Great Ife!!!" 30 minutes ago via .

To whom it may concern,
We the of students Nigerian Federal and State universities especially OAU hereby decree that the ASUU strike should be put on hold(we mean called off) with immediate effect, as we also propose to start a strike action of our own if the said ASUU strike is not called off before Monday 23rd January 2012, and as you know if the students go on strike it will be more severe and dangerous for the government to handle as there will be increase in robbery, yahoo yahoo, kidnapping and many other social vices that we would not like to mention for security reasons moreover the future of Nigeria will be jeopardized as there will be increase in the rate of illiteracy and the so called protected image of Nigeria will be ruined, we hereby decree that the strike be called off before we carry out the above mentioned threat.
Signed:
Emmatador,
