People like this exist here in Nigeria. reason why people stole in Nigeria is because they want to be rich quicker than God`s own desire time for them. Very commendable |
8, the President has silently shut the mouth of critics who by their own wisdom predicted that a liter of petrol will be sold at 5000 before December. Now the price is gradually coming down and our currency is waxing stronger against the dollar. This is not container economy, we are together our leader and hopefully things will get better. |
Same way MNK announces the death of Buhari till date Buhari is still in Daura. Igbos are good with propaganda. Gadafii: |
I don`t understand how some people reason in this part of the world. Sim Fubara said he was ambush by the peace resolution he sign which was a clear political resolution to the crisis. Fubara should as a matter of urgency obey all court orders against him. He has denied 27 constituencies representation for over a year now and nobody is talking about it. In a sane society Fubara should be have resign. He should have told us how he makes his money to the point of becoming governor of oil rich rivers state. He is a co thief with Wike and so nobody should claim saint that they are not. Fubara stole our money in connivance with Wike. |
I'm married, but i still chat and called my ex Boyfriend. No feelings attached, he was a nice person to me. My husband is not very happy about it. Should i stop communicating with my ex Boyfriend? |
This is a welcome development, Martins Chike A. is our authentic speaker. Fubara should use IGR to run the state, if he is a man. Mad Fubara |
Wike is not part Jonathan political family that is the fact. It was senator John Mbata that made wike politically. John brought Wike out to be chairman of one of the richest local government area of Rivers state. Odili accepted him base on recommendation from the Senator. For those Obi supporters who are deceiving Fubara, Johnathan only appointed Wike base on the recommendation of Ameachi in his first tenor. Wike as a smart politician took advantage of the gap between Ameachi and Johnathan to setup GDI which became wike`s strongest political foundation. When Ameachi left PDP for APC, Magnus Abe left with Ameachi to Apc, Wike then took advantage of the gap with the support of the then president. Wike is a political Mafia, Fubara should look for a way to settle peace with his oga. |

In politics there are men and there are boys, Atiku belongs to the category of boys. Wike is not an easy going person. If there is still any party call pdp in Nigerian then it is the one that Wike is holding strong. PDP can never recover from 2023 election defeat due to highhandedness of Atiku and Peter Obi. It was a clear opportunity for them to take power from the ruling APC, yet Atiku refused to allow Wike to contest the election. Wike is the only reason there is still something like PDP. |

DAILY POST reports that the monarch, who was appointed by the former governor, Nyesom Wike was removed from his position as Chairman of the Rivers Traditional Rulers Council by Fubara on June 21, 2024. The governor, who accused Awuse of being unstable in his leadership of the council under the current administration, replaced him with the Paramount Ruler of Apara Kingdom, Eze Chike Worlu Wodo. Eze Awuse’s removal followed the face-off between Governor Fubara and Wike who is presently the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, over the leadership structure in the state. Speaking at the weekend when Wike led a delegation of his political associates to his palace to rejoice with him for surviving a debilitating ailment, the monarch lamented that he was in a critical condition in the hospital when his removal was announced. The monarch claimed that he was in an Intensive Care Unit, ICU, when the governor removed him, stressing that he spent ten hours in a coma and six days on ICU. He said, “I was sacked from my seat the day I was in ICU. I was in a coma for 10 hours. I told him only (Wike) because everybody rejected me. “The government I was serving rejected me. “I am learning how to stand up because I was in ICU for six weeks with gadgets all over my body fed through my nose. And you (Fubara) told people when I was in ICU that I was a man of questionable character. “You said Sergeant Awuse, I am not steady. That is one quality I don’t deserve. Call me any other name but I am a steady human being.” |
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu on Wednesday, expressed willingness to seek negotiations with the Federal Government. Kanu anchored his move for a negotiation with the Federal Government under section 17 of the Federal High Court Act The IPOB leader has been detained by the Department of State Services, DSS, since 2021 when he was re-arrested in Kenya and repatriated to Nigeria.Since his return, the IPOB leader has been facing trial for terrorism-related charges before an Abuja Federal High Court. Section 17 of the Federal High Court Act states that “In any Proceeding In the court, the court may promote reconciliation among parties thereto and encourage and facilitate the amicable settlement thereof”. Speaking through his lead counsel, Alloy Ejimakor, Kanu informed the Abuja Federal High Court of his negotiations after he moved two applications brought before the court. The first application is to move for form 49 and an application objecting to the jurisdiction of the court. Ejimakor said if the applications are denied they will move for the implementation of section 17 of the Federal High Court Act. Responding, the Federal Government’s counsel, Adegboyega Awomolo, informed the court that he had earlier informed the defendant that he does not have the powers to negotiate on behalf of the Federal Government, as the fiat given to him does not empower him to negotiate. He added that the defendant should approach the Attorney General of the federation. In her reply, Justice Binta Nyako said the court was not a solicitor, but to only hear cases. |
Igbos and quick money, tomorrow they will blame government for doing anything in their tiny dot. It is the duty of host community to protect government asset in their domain. They will blame Aboki for what they know it is their brothers who did it. |
Controversial rapper Darlington Okoye, aka Speed Darlington, who recently announced the criteria for his potential wife, stating fluency in Igbo language as a must, has now made a U-turn on his preference for Igbo ladies. In a video message shared via his social media page, Darlington advised eligible bachelors to avoid marrying Igbo ladies, claiming that they “are not great for marriage.” According to him, Igbo ladies are “proud and promiscuous.” Darlington said, “This message is for my brothers who are planning to marry. Listen to me, you are not more exposed than I am. My job makes me travel a lot. So, I think I’m very quality to give this advice. “Avoid Igbo girls, they’re not great for marriage. I am an Igbo guy and I am telling you about our girls. Avoid Igbo girls, they’re very greedy and unappreciative. They behave like black American women; nothing you give a black American lady is enough. “Igbo women are also very proud unlike Yoruba and Hausa women. I wonder how someone is going to live with such a braggadocious woman. They’re the number one prostitutes in Nigeria. Most social media feminists are Igbo women.” His claims earned backlash, with many berating him for pouring his personal frustrations on Igbo women while speculating that he was generalizing his experience. “Avoid Igbo girls, they’re not great for marriage. They’re also proud, they’re the number one prostitutes in Nigeria. Most social media feminists are Igbo Women” |

Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has declared that his administration has recorded giant strides in infrastructure since assuming office one year ago. We started about three or four months ago but I am very happy that if we have to assess ourselves within those three months, we have done better than people who stayed for eight years, I stand to be challenged.” Recall that Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory have been at loggerheads shortly after assuming office. During the week, the governor had boasted of defeating his political enemies, stressing that they now slept with their eyes open and restless. |

In Rivers State we are not playing politics of bitterness. Magnus Abe is a household name in Rivers political landscape. He worked for Asiwaju and PBAT knows how to reward his boys. I told people earlier last year that Fubara will only be a governor for 4 years. Fubara is too weak to be the governor of Rivers state. Abe is the next governor of the state. |
Akpabio will never sponsor any bill except for prayer sent to account. Foolish akwa ibom man. |

Don`t stay in that compound again. Move out because all your neighbors are ur real enemies. |
One Bright is even here in Bori camp Portharcourt, collecting money as high as 5k to 10k for just nin. The worst is that even some military personnel are involved. Another center at polo club portharcourt doing the same thing. These are young people who are supposed to live an exemplary life for younger generation. I have all their names with me. If we don`t start with our selves the change we all desire won`t come like mana in the wilderness. Corruption has eaten deep into the blood of 80% nigerians. |
Igbo people with criminal tendency is like bread and butter. They are never contented always looking for more. Kill them all for goodness sake. Don`t pity any criminal. |
Wike is an idiot, releasing 9B naira from the state IGR to Wike are the things he must do. I don`t know why Yoruba boys are happy with this character of a person. Wike is a criminal that should be jail for diverting public funds for personal use. Tinubu is a criminal so he will always support his gang members. |
The President of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Comrade Joe Ajaero has been whisked away by the Police in Owerri, Imo State capital. The development followed an ongoing protest by members of the union in the state. It was gathered that the protest was hijacked by miscreants, who smashed vehicles and inflicted wounds on labour members. DAILY POST recalls that the union had on Sunday announced that it would stage a protest in the state over the alleged violation and abuse of rights and privileges of workers by the State government. Ajaero’s arrest was reportedly effected as early as 8am Wednesday morning. Our sources said workers were gathered at the state Secretariat of the NLC for the protest when suddenly some men with weapons stormed the Secretariat and attacked the workers and chased them away. However, the workers re-assembled at the Secretariat again but this time led by the NLC President and General Secretary, Emma Ugboaja to commence the protest. The source said, just as Ajaero was about to address the gathering, a team of armed Policemen came and took him away alongside some officials of the NLC. Reports said several gunshots were fired to disperse the gathered workers. NLC’s Head of Information and Publicity, Benson Upah confirmed the development, saying the Police have arrested Ajaero. He said: “The NLC President was abducted by men suspected to be Policemen armed to their teeth at the Imo state NLC secretariat on Wednesday as we were about to commence our lawful protest against the violation of trade union rights of the workers”. Also while giving an account of the incident, NLC Deputy General Secretary and Chief of Staff to the NLC President, Chris Onyeka said that he was standing with Ajaero when he was brutalised and arrested. “As workers were gathering to protest their maltreatment by the state government in Owerri, Imo state and the President of NLC was about to address the workers, the Police came amidst attacks by thugs to arrest Ajaero. “Thugs first attacked and dragged Ajaero from the platform before Police came to arrest him along with another senior official of the NLC,” he said. |
95 % of crime committed in Rivers state is done by igbo people. Drugs na them, Organ harvesting na them, Agbero na them. Very soon will conduct a statewide verification of tenants before renting or selling any property to them. Go to Oyigbo they are the ones doing IPOB. |
Igbo people can never rule Nigeria. This is what they can do best. imagine doing this to your own brother from the same region. Shame on the donor and the donotee. |
This can only happen in Anambra State. Me and my guy gave our principal and his entire family pepper that years. Serving in South East my worst experience. Those people can use corps members like kitchen rag. I can`t recommend anybody to chose any eastern state for service. |
A mild drama erupted in the Senate on Tuesday when the President of the Red Chamber, Senator Godswill Akpabio and the Chief Whip, Senator Ali Ndume clashed over a motion on the need to reopen the Nigeria-Benin Republic border. The clash, which almost turned into a rowdy session, forced the Senate President to call for a closed-door executive session that lasted for hours. The motion on the border, moved under a matter of urgent national importance of the Senate Standing Rules by Senator Summaila Kawu (NNPP Kano South), for debate by Senators, allegedly had no specific title and Senator Ndume raised a Point of Order to correct the “error”. Attempt by the former Senate Leader to request correction for the alleged error, happened barely 10 minutes after commencement of the plenary, but the Senate President refused the correction. Specifically, Senator Ndume who rose through Order 51 of the Senate Standing Rules, requested the Senate President to allow for correction of any error made or observed in plenary. He said: “This is the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria guided by laws, rules and procedures. If in the course of proceedings at any session, errors are observed, they must be corrected before forging ahead with such proceedings.” But the Senate President quickly intercepted him by saying having ruled on issues raised, it cannot be revisited and consequently ruled Senator Ndume out of order. Efforts by Senator Sunday Karimi (APC Kogi West) to sustain Ndume’s line of argument through another Point of Order was also swiftly ruled out of order by the Senate President. In an effort to restore harmony, the Deputy Senate President, Senator Jibrin Barau quickly rose to read Order 16 which requires a substantive motion to be moved by any Senator for correction or review of earlier decisions taken. Sustenance of Barau’s Point of Order by Akpabio infuriated Ndume, who raised another Order (54) to seek for correction of the perceived error. The Senate President ruled him out of order again without being allowed to make full presentation of his argument. Angered by Akpabio’s decision, Ndume packed his documents and furiously stormed out of the chamber. Apparently perplexed by the scenario, Senators hurriedly went into a closed-door session which lasted for hours and affected the items on the Order Paper for the day. |
People should ask ex emperor Wike what he did for women in Rivers State aside making his girl friends vice chairpersons in 23 LGA. They should be careful with Wike and his secret agenda. Ask governor Wike who was his commissioner of women affairs for 8 years in Rivers State? I pity APC, by the time Wike execute his agenda you will know that Wike can betray his mother for power. |
NNPCL is not for northerners alone if they are due for retirement let them go home. If i rule Nigeria any day retirement age will be 55 years so that every man or woman working in any ministry will equip him or her self. paving way for fresh graduate to come on board. What is adding corruption in Nigeria is failure on the path of civil servant to properly manage their salary, with the hope of archiving when they got to 65. Everybody will sit up and use their salary well. |

THE National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Asaba, Delta State, has nullified the election of the member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Constituency at the House of Representatives, Mr. Ngozi Okolie. Ngozi Okolie of the Labour Party, LP, was declared winner of the February 25 House of Representatives election in the federal constituency by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. But immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ndidi Elumelu, filed a petition before the tribunal praying it to disqualify Okolie. Elumelu, in the petition no EPT/DL/HR/06/2023, argued that Okolie was not properly sponsored by the Labour Party, and that he did not resign his position as a public office holder. The three-member tribunal panel headed by Justice A.Z. Mussa, in it’s rulling, disqualified Okolie and declared the runners up in the election, Ndudi Elumelu as winner of the election. The tribunal held that Okolie was not duly sponsored by the Labour Party and that he was not a member of the party as at May 28, 2022 when the primary purportedly held. It also resolved in Favour of the petitioners that the second respondent, (Okolie) did not resign from public office to contest the elections. Speaking with newsmen after the ruling, Counsel of the petitioner, Andrew Osemenem said: “The petitioner founded his petition on one ground, and that is the ground of qualification. “That ground, we said through the witnesses and documents that the Labour Party candidate was not a member of Labour Party as at 28th of May, 2022 when they purportedly held primaries for the National Assembly Election. “We also proved and the tribunal agreed with us that there was no primaries, there was no sponsorship, the Labour Party did not conduct any primary into the NASS. |
