If you have a phone that is low on phone memory (less than 200mb, not rooted) and RAM less than or 768Mb (380mb , 512mb) , this thread is just for you. Shun the screen size or camera or amount of cores of some big techno or Infinix droid phones. They still have a 1ghz processor, 512mb RAM & so they are ermm ….ok back to the matter.
I still use an infinix surf smart at present ,3.5” with 512mb RAM, 127mb usable ROM & 1ghz processor. The phone is not yet rooted (my tech friends can’t root it ),but I’ve got 65 apps including HD games that run smoothly like;*** GTA 3, Resident evil 4 – Bio hazard, Asphalt 6, Battle of the saints, Dark Avenger ,Earth & legends HD, PES12, Shark dash HD, team Dragon, Fighting tiger,GandSta rio, Samurai II, Subwaysurf , Spiderman HD , Temple run2 &Oz*** excluding my very cool 2D games like killer bean, angry birds etc. I also have social apps like skype, twitter ,instagram, fb messenger, 2go but excluded facebook because of its increasing size & the data it consumes. I’ve got quick office, a Bible ,hymn, 2 news apps, a dict. , 2 mini browsers, vlc, a photo editor, scanner ,swift key3, x-plore, Rar acrh. ,science apps –and more not listed.
A lot is to be sacrificed to get the best out of your low end android phone, so before you start criticizing the phone or manufacturers – who wouldn’t sweat to produce crap, I guess u should try out these things I did;
1) Prevent Low internal memory. Most of us want to have all the apps & games installed on a low end android (internal mem. less than 200mb ,512mb RAM...how u wan do am ?) even when it is not rooted. Thus the usage of all internal storage space, leading to the unstabilility of your android system and then most of the apps & games forcing close. Some ways to prevent these are
i) Leave at least 14-20mb free internal storage memory, to allow expansion of some apps (most apps expand as they get more data) and prevent a clogged phone memory. Try delete some apps for your phone's stability, don't leave your phone memory all choked up .
ii) *for android 2.0 to 3 that is not rooted* Clear the data of some apps regularly especially apps that expand Like facebook (Omo this app swells like yeast – can hit up to 70mb or more, so I’ll advise you use a browser to facebook instead of the app ), twitter (increases in size too but not as fast as fb. Clear app data regularly {like when it is up to 6mb} to free space) , whatsapp (another expanding app, clear data once you realize storage is getting low), skype (use and uninstall! –another yeast like app. You can keep the apk in your memory card so u can re-install when you need it) *******settings—application---manage app—select app---clear data****
iii) Move apps to SD card. Be sure you have moved some apps (actually part of) to your SD card. Install bigger apps 1st, then move them to SD before installing smaller ones and doing same ***settings—application---manage app—select app—move to SD
iv) Ensure that you have changed preferred storage location to SD ***settings—application—preferred install location—Removable SD card

First connect the two android devices,making one as HOTSPOT and the other as WIFI

Install and open the ppsspp application you downloaded on your android device

Goto settings in the ppsspp >networking and set it like this

NOTE; BOTH THE TWO PHONES SHOULD BE SET LIKE THIS, THE ONLY DIFFERENCES IS MAC ADDRESS

Goto settings>Graphics and set it like this if you like depending on how you want it

NOW YOU OPEN THE PPSSPP APPLICATION, AND LOAD THE PES 2016 THAT IN IT

GOTO MATCH

THEN ADHOC;

THEN GOTO SETUP ROOM ON ONE OF THE DEVICE

Hello Nairalanders.
Am sure most of us have heard about the new airtel smart trybe tariff that offers night bundles of 500MB and 1.5G for N25 and N50 respectively.

I decided to try it out two nights ago and wow the experience was amazing.
I did the N50 plan initially and after exhausting it I did another one so I used about 3G that night and the download speed was amazing especially considering I normally use my Gloslow SIM to browse because of the cheap data. There was nothing like data zapping which I hear of a lot, I have an app installed which monitors the amount of data my device consumes so I was sure I got what I paid for.
last night however the story was different when I subbed for the N50 plan. I had barely used up 400MB when my browsers started redirecting me to free.facebook.com. this only happens when my data is exhausted so I was surprised. I decided to buy the N25 plan to continue what I was downloading but after subscribing the same problem persisted. I switched off my network and for about 30mins and tried again, this time it started working. so I headed to download some movies but while downloading a movie, at around 200Mb it started redirecting me to free.facebook.com again. This was past 4am. After several failed attempts to browser or resume paused download I gave up.

so guys please who else is facing this sort of issue? I want to call them to complain.

I just migrated to smart trybe because I have a lot of tv shows to download and the night plan is cheap.

But I want to know if after exhaustion of the 1.5gb data it will immediately changes to PAYU.

Do they start taking my normal credit or do they stop me from connecting to the Internet?

i got a camon c9 last 2 weeks. the phone is very ok. bt i av one issue. asphalt 8 was installed in my camon c9. any time i play it , it gets hot after a while. is dat normal? should i be worry?

I have never subcribed to the 25 for 500mb since i know of that plan BUT i have never had any issue until last week when they did collect my money and didn't give data three times. The truth is that Airtel is stealing from their customers with this plan and they need to be reported to NCC

I subscribed for the night plan this morning,i mean 12.08am,d money was deducted but I didn't use up to 20mb. I was still opening pages to download when I realized my modem was reading 0.0kb which means no more subscription. Call 141,it was just disconnecting after their football sh|t. This is not the first time. I've been using this plan for long. Last week I recharged 200 naira,since it can be rolled over , I decided to take a step of recharging 200 and subscribe 4 times. I think that should be 6gb...mehn my money was deducted and I was able to use only 1.4gb

Airtel should please be reliable on this subscription.
