I woke up around 03:10am this morning and I was able to use 2.28GB within 03:10am and 05:00am. I downloaded a movie of 1.2GB in the space of 59mins due to network instability, but with time the network became stable and I was downloading seamlessly...

If you haven't checked out the Warehouse of movies like @prisam30 told you, you're on a long thing. No ADs easy access just look for movie you need, when you find it click on it and it'll start downloading...

I woke up tonight to carry out some downloads on the Airtel Night Browsing Data Plan. I left my phone on last night so when I woke up to a fluctuating mobile data service that goes off for some minutes after it comes on, I suspected the phone had developed a fault. I tried another airtel line in another phone, and it had a stable browsing network and I became convinced that the phone had an issue.

i quickly subbed on the other line and googled what the problem could be. The solutions bordered on 'wipe cache', 'soft reset' and 'factory reset'. I tried the first two but it didn't solve it. I was unwilling to factory reset and lose all my data, and since my device is not rooted, backup to restore was going to be a full time job.

I googled more and came upon this set of solutions whose first step was for me to contact my service providers and confirm that there is no problem at their end. Just then, I remembered that I put 'Airtel' messages on blacklist. On checking it, there was a message stating specifically that there will be an upgrade within the early hours of today, which explains my problem. Choi! What a sigh of relief.

I have since removed Airtel from my blacklist. Shout out to those who experienced the same problems and those prepared to call Airtel a scam this morning.

Have you downloaded Google's own video calling app, 'Google Duo'.. It was available for download on google play yesterday. Install and spread the word. It was a nice experience. Available only for Android devices

Yes the data can be accumulated, just make sure you sub for the 500MB plan first.

I don't know if i am the only one these happen to today,I subscribed to airtel #50 for 1.5gb night around 12:20 a.m which #50 was deducted from my account only for me to browse but it keep directing me to facebook page,which means I have exhausted the 1.5gb or I didn't not sub. I was confuse,so I decided to try it aqain which I subscribed another 1 around 12:40 but its still the same thing.
Am I the only one experiencing these or they have block it........

This is the third time airtel have successful stole from my account. Whenever data activation for 1.5g for N50 fails airtel will refuse to refund you the money or alocate you the data. They will tell you they are working on it. The funny part is the customer service agnet will tell you that it will be resolved in next 12 hours!? It is a service that will end by 5am this morning so that means it will never be resloved. Your money is gone. Pls i use this service almost everyday BUT this is the problem. It is not preditable. I mean this is bad. Etisalat always refund your money or give you free minutes if you have this kind of problem. Also i have ask them to stop sending me unwanted message s and calls through 2442 but they refused to comply. Do NCC really enforce that law?

The best way to enjoy the Airtel Trybe 1.5GB plan is to migrate to the Trybe plan, your money won't be deducted, after that SUBSCRIBE FOR THE 500MB PLAN FIRST, the you can go ahead and subscribe for the 1.5GB plan it'll cost you just N75 instead of N50

Sometimes you might just want to save webpages for offline reading in order to prevent reloading and to conserve data.

Many people out there often think that it is impossible to save wedges with mobile Chrome browser for offline reading, because with your android browser or Opera, you can easily do that my going to the browser menu and selecting save for offline reading option.

But when you use Chrome browser on your mobile, there is no such option to save webpages for offline reading.

But here is a simple work around method to achieving that.

1. launch the webpage that you will want to save for offline reading.

2. Open the Chrome browser menu and select Print

3. Click the Save to Drive drop down menu that will appear and select Save as PDF and then click "save"

4. Choose "Download" as the location and then click on save at the bottom right corner of the page.

And you have just saved the webpage for offline reading

Many Glo users have actually been complaining for days now about their data connection not turning on. It has been so frustrating because no matter the connection mode or the APN settings used it still remain the same.

Calling the customer care would probably have been the best option but it's no news that Glo has one of the crappiest customer service that probably wouldn't pick up your call and not many people can afford dumping their SIM for a new just because of network connection issue.

You can't imagine how frustrating and how much of an issue this really is unless you happen to be experiencing this as well. But the good thing is that there is a quick fix for this and it works like magic.

The best way to fix the Glo internet connection issue is by subscribing for a data plan. And the good thing is that any data plan will work, so if you can't afford the monthly plan, then you can just make use of the daily plan which cost just N50 for N30mb.

How To Fix Data Network Not Displaying On Glo
==> Make sure you have at least N50 on your Glo line.
==> SMS 14 to 127 to subscribe for the daily data plan.
==> Just restart your phone and your data network should be back.
==> To avoid daily deduction of N50 for auto renewal, SMS cancel to 127 to stop auto renewal.

And also make sure you're not using any screen filtering apps because that might also be the cause.. It dosen't want you to install there fore placing something else there coz that install button there ain't the real one

It's not the APN it's from the SIM, It happened to me on Saturday, I broke the SIM...
