skywolf28: If vector (47mb) is a large game, then what do you call gangstar vegas(2.5gb) Like seriously? You'll install a game of 2.5GB on a device with 512MB RAM, the guy said he's not so much of a heavy user. |

What overall rating would you give the phone? Out of 10 I'll give it 5. |

tobbie247: Hello nairalanders, due to budget constraints I'm left with no other choice but to get an itel phone with 512MB RAM. The problem is the RAM size is small and I fear multitasking could be a big issue with such size. I'm not exactly a Heavy user but I do surf the Internet a lot and play games once a while and I also like to test random apps too.
Who you suggest I still go for an itel phone?
The itel phone I'm looking at is itel it1408
Thanks everyone. Since you're not more of a heavy user I'll advice you go with the It1408 besides, you can't get any device running on Android 5.1 lollipop for such a budget. |
Phones › Re: How To Prevent Your Charger Or Headphones From Bending Too Much And Breaking by Emmaway(m): 1:07pm On Jul 16, 2016 |
nze4al: Are you tired of buying new chargers or headphones for your phone? Then check out this useful hack for preventing your smartphone charger, headphones, and other cords from fraying or breaking, causing them to stop working on your phone.
From my experience, I discovered that most cables are able to twist and break while kept untouched in the bag or when used roughly. After going through my share of expensive cables with self-destructing powers, I became extremely careful of how I stored and used them. Yet, I still managed to bust these cables every few months.
And then I realized this simple trick using the spring from old ballpoint pen as support to my weak charger cables and headphones to give them more life and prevents it from bending.
How is it done?
How to prevent your charger or headphones from bending too much and breaking
▪Just grab the spring out from any of your old ballpoint pen
▪Then stretch it and wrap it around the part of the cord that tends to bend, and it’lll keep it straight forever
▪This will stop it from wearing down over years.
That's all! Very simple, easy and straightforward hack your not aware of, works like magic. I hope you find it useful, if you do please take your time to share with others.

omoalajah: If any mobile phone company knows what the consumers want and give it to them, that company is definitely Tecno. I could remember Tecno started the inclusion of powerbanks to compliment the shortage of power supply encountered by most Nigerians. You could charge your phone on the go. So cool. Tecno again having studied the market and seen how the young aged or even the mama's and papa's so much love selfie's and late night pictures has now launched an affordable mobile phone that boosts of an incredible super rich camera that's takes low light photographs better than the iPhone 6. Wow. The Tecno Camon C8. A 13megapixels Rear Camera accompanied by a 5megapixels Front Camera with Dual Flash. And the price also comes Very Affordable! #25,900 in the market . Now I could brag among my apple friends. I guess others would definitely copy this again and I bet they already are. Stop dreaming!the iPhone 6 is far better than the Camon C8 |

Phones › All Android Users, Here's An Emergency! by Emmaway(op): 9:05pm On Jul 12, 2016 |
This is an Emergency! The rate at which Android devices are getting infected by Virus is very alarming! I am a witness, my device was infected today, but thanks to "CM Security".
Here are tips you should use to avoid your device from being infected:
1. Get a good "Antivirus App": This is very necessary as an Android user, you need to have a good Antivirus app, I'll advice you use "CM Security". CM Security offers real time protection, and also protects your browsing.
2. Disable "Installation of Apps from Unknown Sources: This is the best way to prevent virus from infecting your device. You need to make sure this option is ALWAYS DISABLED, else the virus will start installing 'rubbish' apps on your device. IF YOU WANT TO INSTALL AN APP YOU DOWNLOAD ELSEWHERE APART FROM PLAY STORE YOU ENABLE THIS OPTION AND DISABLE IT WHEN YOU'RE DONE.
3. Disable "Developer Options, USB Debugging"
Here are few tips you'll need because the rate is alarming. |

Phones › Re: 4 Things You Believe About Your Android Phone That Are Wrong by Emmaway(m): 9:41pm On Jul 05, 2016 |
win10: Android is by far the most popular Operating system in the mobile world, having been shipped across 19 countries and installed on over 200 millions devices, One can say without doubt that over 195 million people uses android today. Out of these users, many of them have a couple of things they believe the android that are not true. Without further talks, here are four things you believe about your android phone that are not true
1. Android Origin: it was not Google who originally started/founded the android OS . Android Inc was a company created by four computer experts under which the andoid OS was developed.
As at that time, google was just a share holder in the company who does online adverts. Google later bought android Inc in 2005 making the the official owners of the Android OS. Since then, google has been modifying/ updating the OS till date.
2. Charging overnight: It's a common believe among android users that charging your android phone overnight or leaving it plugged-in even when its fully charged damages the battery. Unfortunately that believe is actually wrong, it's not that much of a bad thing compare to the way android users sees it when your phone is plugged-in overnight or when you still leave you phone plugged-in even when the battery is full.
Remember its a smart phone, that means its smart enough to detects when the battery is fully charged and immediately stops current from en-trying it. Its actually save to leave your phone plugged-in overnight even when it is fully charged.
To see all of them visit www.techeda.com/android/believe-about-android-that-are-wrong.html I am not among those that believe no. 1, I knew it before now. |

KOFICOSUZARANDA: The first time i purchased my Android..Tecno S3 to be precise...i immediately slotted in my Sim and i Installed some Android Apps that were on my old Memory Card...i Immediately went to data connection and switched it on..i started receiving messages that my remaining data balance is 5mb...i was suprised...cos i had 20mb...2 minutes later my data got finished...i didn't know it's because of google play store and apps updates...i spent almost 500 naira to purchase more data that day...
So share your own experience When u started using your smartphone(s)... I'm a lover of Android devices right from when I didn't own one. Finally I got one and I was excited, so I unpacked the device, powered it ON, getting ready to enjoy the Android experience but I was saddened, the Android device did not come with any of the apps like Facebook, WhatsApp and the popular apps, it came with all Google Apps which means, then I realized that I was to buy an Itel Device. I know for sure that Itel Devices come with many pre-installed app, but at that point, there was nothing I can do but to look for a way to get the apps I needed. I recalled a friend who used an Android device who lived around, so I went to him requested that he transferred some apps to my phone and he asked me if I had FlashShare, I told him no, he said that except with the use of FlashShare he couldn't transfer. I went out the next day to one of the phone repairer close to where I live asking him to transfer FlashShare for me using his Laptop, but he tried doing it but his Laptop kept saying error this error that and unable to transfer any app. Next day, Sunday to be precise, I went to Church, came back, took my phone, looked at it and it was four days after buying the phone I was unable to enjoy what other Android users enjoy, was just useless! So I unlocked the phone and I said let me learn some things about the device since there's no games or app to keep me busy. I went to "SETTINGS" click on scrolled down, I saw "Accessibility" clicked on it, I saw "Talkback" so I decided to try it, I enabled it, I minimized, I tried swiping from left to right, I couldn't, right to left, I couldn't. I was so frustrated I regret ever buying the device I needed an Itel device. I was helpless, tried going back to SETTINGS to disable it but even when I entered settings I couldn't scroll down. I switched Off the phone and powered it ON still the problem persisted. I removed the battery and put it back again powered ON the phone, still same problem. I couldn't use the phone for anything, I tried flashing it with my hands because I could remember some tutorials I read on some blogs on 'How to Hand-Flash Android Devices Without a System', I switched it Off, held Power + Volume Up buttons together it took me to recovery mode, I selected wipe data and rebooted the phone. Right now I'm enjoying the Android experience, it's been fun and it has made life easier for me. Right now I use an Itel device and I'm really in love with the Itel device In order not to fall into my shoes I'll advice you to get an Itel Device and save yourself the stress of going up and down looking for apps, because Itel Device come pre-installed with the necessary apps. |
