Hello guys I'm writing my ielts beginning next month.
Should I start thinking of proof of funds now or later.
A friend told me that I need to put about 10m in an account before my ITA. Now I'm wondering if God does it and my ITA comes before the money stays in the bank for six months. Will that work or will it render it invalid. If I want to put the money in the account. Should it be my account or should i give someone that is funding me. Should the money also be paid little by little or once at a go.
I also heard of treasury Bill's, stanbic ibtc and gift deeds. Someone should please help me on what to do. I dont really want to be called for ITA and fail because I failed to ask questions. If someone can break this whole thing down for me and tell me the best thing to do with the time I have I will really appreciate it.

Hello. I've paid for wes, sent a dude to obafemi Awolowo university, where I got my masters and he told me that they have sent the transcript to wes electronically. While researching through nairaland I found out that the school can only send the transcript by post and not by email.
So I'm really confused right now. Can someone please clarify

Yes its possible to use money market funds and treasury bills but if the source of funds is new (within 6 months) you will still have to explain how you got the funds.

Stop listening to people who clearly go contrary to IRCC guidelines. IRCC says you can use gift deed, now you are saying "some people" said it's not advisable? Are they the officers giving the Visa? Do they work in IRCC? Are they even immigration consultants?

I suggest you do a lot of research and reading. It is very hard to go through this process with only the knowledge of what "some people said".

You can put the money in Stanbic mutual funds/treasury bill and show proof that the money is there, and easily accesssible.

Please how does this stanbic mutual funds and treasury bill work and Can I quickly source for the money after I get my ITA? I read that the funds must be in ur account for 6 months before ITA call you.
Im just a bit scared of finally getting to the ITA and failing because of POF.
