Dronedude:Same news has been on Nairaland but that was bayelsa 3 years ago |
No home match |
Unlimitk:Things are expensive. Sweet potatoes I used to call sapa food. I'll but 500 and it lasts the whole, 1500 for the month may end up spoiling. Here you are saying 10k for 2 weeks. Omoh naira don spoil |
In summary, humans will always want more and try to get more once they have an increase. Let's imagine the man earning 900k chooses to leave in a 1.5m house, feed his family with less than 150k like the man earning 90k He would have enough left. But we are humans after all, always want more and with more we create more problems Remember as billionaires have problems in billions. Millionaires problem in millions, |

knowing someone who experienced this, after my research and from what i know as at that time. some so called agents came in and told them it was a grant and took percentage of the money up to. 50 percent and did not tell them it was a loan, so at the end of the day if they got 500k they paid 200k to the agent who decieved them. |
ChybuzzDD:What annoys me is their use of "alleged" A body to investigate crimes carried someone and is saying alleged. No evidence and you carry am like thief |
EFCC’s Case against Martins Vincent Otse The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in the exercise of its mandate of tackling economic and financial crimes, invited Martins Vincent Otse owing to a series of petitions bordering on sundry issues of alleged financial crimes raised against him. He refused to show up in spite of several invitations sent to him through his known addresses and medium of communication. The petitions pertain to grave allegations of financial malfeasance which cannot be ignored by the Commission. It is needful to admit that the Commission is aware of several unguarded attacks of the suspect against its operations. While such conduct is condemnable, his arrest was not informed by such attacks. The relevant law enforcement agency will be allowed to look into them. The EFCC has a lawful right to hold Otse in custody like any other suspect being investigated by the Commission. The appropriate Remand Order was obtained in this regard. He has been offered an administrative bail and would be released after fulfilling all the bail conditions. The Commission appreciates the interest of Nigerians in its operations. The passion, enthusiasm and torrential reactions to all of its activities are welcome. However, insinuations about its motive in carrying out its assignment should no longer continue. The EFCC should be allowed to do its job without fear or favour. As soon as investigations are concluded, charges will be filed. By the way it is worth noting that In their original X post before editing it they called him Martins "Innocent" Otse instead of Martins Vincent Otse |
also, a prophecy being fulfilled might show the Bible has value and insight but itt doesn’t cancel the fact that it’s been filtered through centuries of human influence. That’s the balance I think we should be honest about because based on the arguments I read on that twitter comments I had to ask myself if these people really belive what they're saying because they know or they were taught to not question their faith or Bible |
MaxIntheHouse2:This idea of God being the Author of the Bible book is something I find hard to wrap my head around. He inspired the writings of different prophets, apostles etc but the Bible as we know today which is a compilation and translation of different writings that were "inspired by God" how can we be sure everything that was compiled was actually those inspired by God and not a mix of those by men and God to suit some agendas. I appreciate the reference to Isaiah and Micah as i had to check it out being my first tkme of reading that part as an adult. But here's where I have another question. If this prophecy points to a specific group today, then which group is it? Because the world right now is still full of war, greed, corruption, and divisions even among people who claim to follow the Bible. Christians disagree on core doctrines, use different Bibles, and even fight each other politically and culturally. Also, saying that people will "use the Bible as their constitution" still doesn't prove the version of the Bible they are using is perfectly accurate because to me the fact that something is being fulfilled doesn’t mean the transmission process in our case now translation, interpretation, editing hasn’t introduced errors along the way. |
MaxIntheHouse2:By “accurate,” I meant: Is this still what the original writer meant? Are we sure the message hasn’t been watered down, misinterpreted, or manipulated? Are we reading what God intended when he inspired the writings or what generations of human hands and councjls have shaped it into? |
Someone made a tweet and few comments caught my eye like the one below You acknowledge there is a God given talent, yet you question the accuracy of writings inspired by God.Then I started wondering why we are so fixed on things we know nothing about, things we claim we do by faith alone and then still defend it like it's fact which brings me to the topic below. Is the Bible Still Accurate? Let’s Be Honest With Ourselves I know this may ruffle a few feathers, but it’s a genuine question worth thinking about: Can we really say the Bible is 100% accurate today, just as it was originally inspired thats if it was inspired by God at all? Let’s be real. This book has passed through hundreds, even thousands of years, translated from Hebrew to Greek, to Latin, and now into over 3,000 versions in English and other languages. We all know how hard it is to translate pidgin to English without losing meaning. now imagine translating deep spiritual texts across centuries, cultures, and empires. You think nothing got lost or twisted? Add to that the fact that the Bible was edited, compiled, and arranged by councils who were people like you and me with their own biases, interests, and even political motives. Some books were removed. Some were merged. Others were emphasized to suit a narrative. Na human beings dey do all these things o, not angels. Even if the original writers were inspired by God, the many hands that handled the scriptures after them were not necessarily “spiritual” people. So why do we act like every single word we read today is exactly how God intended it? This isn’t about disrespecting anyone’s faith. If the Bible helps you live better, love people, and grow spiritually, that’s beautiful. But let’s not pretend it came down straight from heaven, leather-bound and error-free. Sometimes, questioning is not rebellion it’s wisdom. Faith doesn’t mean we shouldn’t think. God no go vex if you use the brain wey e give you. |
Stupid idea, i can claim to be discriminated against |

Years ago I had to travel on my own to owerrinta from uyo , stayed at a certain sir pee hotel just so I would make It to the morning exams. Imagine I was kidnapped or used them go say na jamb |
Nonsense reply from Jamb, is the 6.30 verification not part of the exams process? Let me go back up and block some mofos defending nonsense. |
If we block each other 7 times in 2 months make e block us for life |
Seun:Using helinues as example |
adeoyekay:Seun just dropped a post now and explained how it works, I just want to block someone to the bottomless pit. Not pity them after 7 days but it's all good. Atleast something had been done |
So I entered a users profile and noticed a block button, so decided to find one person that annoys me to block. All I had to do was check and tap block. But... what does the block do? Mods and seun it'll ve cool if you add a text there that explains what the block button will do, a notice that you have successfully blocked a user. Eg. Blocking a user means you won't see his post or comments ( that'll be awesome ) I mean after blocking someone only difference I noticed was I no longer saw the block button. Who has used the feature and how has it worked so far for you |
