Please start your business, if the other one doesn't give room for growth.

You can as well start it without quiting your current job.

Take a break of you can, start a few with what you can and get someone to manage it while also keeping eye on it.

Events / Re: Rationale Behind Many Speakers At A Single Day Event? by emmy512: 12:27pm On Aug 19, 2023
Most times it's a discourse.

Not just one person speaking but many having a discourse on an issue.

Audiences get to hear from everyone as the speakers are free to be against or for certain statements made by one another.

That way audience can make decisions in real time of the knowledge they're getting from their and not having to wait and get information from one person at a time for extended period of time which can be overwhelming

This depends on the type of event by the way.

And as you said it also helps for networking by bringing people interested in a topic together to share ideas

Good morning family, I never felt the need to do this, it's not like I don't know what else to do. I just need your opinion.
Am currently a Branch manager of one of the biggest indigenous retail company (supermarket) in the country. Some group of Indian investor bought over my company... And I was transferred to Abakaliki to open our new branch. my relationship with the new owners I won't lie, is great..
My net monthly salary now is 110k, I have an official car and I live in the company's quarters.
There's no hope for salary increment. In the next 10 years am not sure of getting to 200k. My fiancee is in pH, and we are hoping to get married by next year.. this places a lot of demand to increase my income so I can afford to take care of my family.

However, I have an offer with another retail company in pH with salary of 200k. The company has promised and increment upon my confirmation. I went for the interview yesterday.. when they saw my experience and everything in my CV they became anxious to bring me in... So they asked how much am expecting I told them 200-250k and they settle at 200k. Right they, the chairman asked HR to give me offer letter and that I should start with immediate effect. My pain now is that,
First ; according to the HR their budget for the position was 300k.. now I've short change my self.. I feel so bad.

Secondly; I don't know how to present this to my MD, how do I tell them am leaving.. and the notice seems short. As I met him yesterday with a lot of expectations and target from me, just don't know how to communicate it to him. How I wish they can offer me this amount. Is two weeks enough to do handing over...

Unfortunately it'll take a long time especially if it's within the school.
There's no evidence, it's just a hear say,

Things like this have been going on for years and the school couldn't do anything about it.

Egong played his part and passed away months ago from swollen feet, students would all rumour that someone dropped some prayers or fetish on him for their daughter. , there's no one who passed through stats, maths, computer science especially who didn't have an idea or suspect the doings of this lecturers.

Sometime last year a particular hod was suspended and I read the memo from VC saying that masters students reported he took money for textbooks reason why he was suspended and I laughed because we were not up to 8 in that masters class and none of us had. Any issues paying 4k for a textbook

She was just trying not to step on toes with that memo and I believe the mans story reached her and she was doing damage control. Wich is what would be done in this case just as in 2015 where he's case was just forgotten untill now and even made dean later

Just as they're victims there people who suspect this and know for sure what goes on but believe it's not their fight

Education / Sexual Assault: Prof Ndifom - A Victims Tale by emmy512: 3:27pm On Aug 15, 2023
Shameful, notDistinguished and notProf Ndifon in my own Eyes and Experience

I believe NotProf Ndifon was meant to be a fine intelligent Man from my own warm part of Nigeria.
Coincidentally married to a cousin of my ‘husband’.
Hmmm…Funny how nature brought the circle around.

I was just turning 18 when i got into his class in year 2 .
He taught Legal Method in the University of Calabar.
This Man made Legal Method seem like a Thesis in Havard University.

I recalled that faithful day after giving his lectures, he dropped his books on my desk and asked me to carry them and follow him to his office.
I innocently did, but that was the beginning of my tragedy with him until I graduated from the faculty with pains and push.

Who doesn’t know NotProf Ndifon and his *Monstrous pedophilic disorder* in the faculty of Law Calabar?
It doesn’t matter if you are a boy or a girl , you must or may have known or sniffed into his evil predatory hunt or even been a victim.

He started his sexual harassment with me immediately i arrived his office to drop his errand books by talking about very erotic stories and how much he liked me , and how i will come out in flying colors if i agree to be his girlfriend.
It seemed really strange to me then because i was raised to reverence my elders especially a Lecturer/Teacher. I recalled quickly calling my mother to report all he said, she asked that i avoided him completely which i did…But guess what? It still didn’t help one bit!

This Man made sure he failed me 3 consecutive times and harassed me at every given time i approached his office to question my result.
I recalled he drank a certain tea with hemp constantly in his office which we gossiped as students because we thought that may have been one of the reasons he always got amorous with little female students. Lol

Some of his words to me that period was *if you do not sleep with me, you will leave the facility with a third class i promise you*
*even if you guide your p***sy i will succeed or you will fail* and then he will give a demeaning and sarcastic laughter, he was a nightmare.
One time i sat for his Harvard carry over while in year 5 writing his course with year 2 students, he walked into the hall and made an announcement saying *if you are here and i had asked you not to write this exams walk out*
I immediately knew he was talking to me but i kept on writing and he walked directly to my desk and used a red biro to cancel each page of what i wrote and asked me to submit.
I cried and reported him to a lecturer who saw what he did, in the Lecturers words * sorry I can’t resolve your issue with him because he is my Phd supervisor*
He became a prayer point every evening in my home.

I was so confused at some point that i thought i was a complete daft in Academics until i invited my parents to challenge my scripts.
He had apologized to my parents saying he had failed me in error and would correct the results…but he never did.

On one occasion he sent for me just when I opened his office , he immediately grabbed my white shirt trying to pull out my young fragile breast until a lecturer knocked the door and he ran like a mouse in an open house looking for where to hide.
This was my first shameful experience in the faculty of Law because rumors spread like wild fire on a young child’s life.

Again, i reported NotProf Ndifon to the then Dean of the Faculty, to some of his fellow Lecturers, to all and sundry yet i carried my heavy cross like a leper.

We almost had a committee of female Law students suffering from the same virus. Even if the committee had an upper and lower level of which the former were those young ones who couldn’t fight the beast and succumbed to him and the later were those who tried and stood their fragile grounds until the end. I was lucky to fall in the later otherwise I wouldn’t have ever forgiven myself if he crossed spirits intimately with me.

Anyone who supports this man by joke or esprit de corps is bringing in the wrath of evil upon his or her household.
I chose to use this words for his cohorts because if the system was fair and worked, he would have been in jail years ago.

Shame on NotProf Ndifon.
May the God of the universe trap him on this one again and nip his buds down completely.

Thanks to the younger Generations of Law students Calabar for standing up to what i(we) couldn’t.

I specifically thank any Man who condemns this despicable act even if it could have been convenient to have covered or slut shamed this little girls or women.

Fish this NotDistinguised men and women out of the system before it rubs off on us all.
Long live my Alma mater!!!

AmotekunSW:

Hope you can see the worthless randy animal UNICAL made a Dean.
The useless school you are defending.

When you say unical made a dean it's as if unical could stop it.
There's career progression and within the law your not guilty untill found so.

If he wasn't made dean who else would have been made a dean? He's one of the most senior lecturers so rightly he was made dean.

The dean talked about I know him personally, I know he's capable of what he's accused of and won't put it past him.

But without evidence and being found guilty the school can only suspend for sometime untill court case end, just like in 2015.

And untill found guilty and convicted, people like this who don't care or pretend to not care about their image won't even be bothered about a mere accusation.

Sometime ago HOD of computer science was suspended and after reading the reason from the memo from VC I laughed, flimsy excuses like he collected money for books and manuals which most lecturers do etc

But I knew a man of his caliber could only be suspended for one reason and the vc memo didn't state that particular reason.

The university is a cabal on its own and only evidence and guilty verdict would remove one from the university system not the university itself

Religion / Re: Does Being Born Again Mean I Am Free From Sin And Immunized Against Sinning? by emmy512: 3:37pm On Aug 13, 2023
alBHAGDADI:

The truth is you may not be genuinely born again, that is why you answer the altar call every now and then. A genuine born again Christian doesn't need to answer altar calls.

Being born again is a one time thing, not something that you do everytime, especially to escape from sin. When your parents gave birth to you, it happened once. Since then, you have not returned to your mother's womb to be born again by her, neither have you ceased being her child because you will always carry her DNA.

Your problem is that you don't understand what being born again means as used by Christians. The moment you believe that Jesus died for your sins to save you, in that instant, you become born again. That means you have experienced a new birth or a second birth. This second birth involves God who gives birth to you just as your mother gave birth to you. Your mother is a flesh, so when she gave birth to you, she gave birth to a flesh. This means you inherited her traits which includes a sinful nature, which is why you always sin. God is a spirit. When he gave birth to you, he gave birth to a spirit. That spirit now lives inside of your flesh. That spirit cannot sin because it inherited the traits of God who can never sin.

1 john 3:9 KJV
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

That is why true Christians believe you can never lose your salvation. Every sin you commit as a Christian is against your flesh and is committed in the flesh not the spirit. When you fornicate, your flesh is involved, not your saved spirit from God. But I ce you are not saved, your spirit suffers from sin as well as your flesh.

So, my friend, accept it that Jesus has saved you for all eternity and has given you eternal life as promised in John 3:6 for believing. Once you believe, your soul is more than 100% guaranteed of heaven and nothing can ever prevent you from that destination. However, if you sin, your flesh will be punished. For example, stealing is a sin. If you get caught stealing, you could go to jail, which is bad. However, when you die, those sins won't be held against your spirit because Jesus has been punished for them already. He has paid the price.

Marriage is between man and woman.

They can find another name for their union and shouldn't need a church to join them together in the name of God.
When man can join them in the name of science and human rights.

Politics / Re: Iranian missiles arrives Niger , may pose serious threats to Nigeria .. by emmy512: 1:47pm On Aug 05, 2023
Curious345:
A missile defense system, also known as a missile shield, is a collection of technologies and strategies designed to intercept and destroy incoming ballistic missiles. These systems aim to protect a region, country, or specific targets from potential missile attacks by detecting and neutralizing the threat before it reaches its intended destination. Various methods such as ground-based interceptors, sea-based interceptors, and airborne lasers are employed to counteract different types of missile threats.

here are some disadvantages of not having a missile defence system.

Vulnerability to Missile Attacks: Without a missile defense system, a nation becomes more vulnerable to missile attacks, which can target critical infrastructure, military installations, and civilian populations. This can result in significant damage, casualties, and disruption.

Limited Deterrence: A missile defense shield can act as a deterrent by reducing an adversary's confidence in the success of their missile attacks. Without this deterrence, other nations may be more inclined to threaten or carry out missile strikes.

Reduced Strategic Flexibility: Without a missile defense system, a nation's strategic options in response to missile threats become limited. This can impact decision-making during times of crisis and potentially lead to escalation.

Economic Costs: In the absence of a missile defense shield, a nation may need to allocate resources to repair and rebuild after missile attacks. This can impose substantial economic costs, affecting development and stability.

Political Pressure: Lack of missile defense can result in political pressure and demands from citizens for increased security measures, potentially affecting the government's credibility and popularity.

Regional Instability: A nation without a missile defense shield might contribute to regional instability if neighboring countries perceive it as a weak link in the security chain, potentially leading to conflicts or arms races.

Technological Imbalance: The absence of a missile defense shield can create a technological imbalance, favoring nations with advanced missile capabilities and potentially giving them an advantage in negotiations or conflicts.

National Sovereignty: Depending on the nation's reliance on others for defense, not having a missile defense shield could compromise its national sovereignty by relying on external assistance in times of crisis.

Overall, having a missile defense shield provides a layer of protection against missile threats, enhances deterrence, and contributes to a nation's security and stability.

here are some targets the enemy will aim at when they know you have no missile defence system.
In a conflict scenario where a country lacks a missile defense system, the enemy might target a range of critical assets and infrastructure to maximize their impact. Some main targets could include:

Military Installations: Enemy missiles might target military bases, airfields, naval ports, and command centers to cripple the opponent's ability to launch counterattacks and defend itself.

Government Centers: Key government buildings, including presidential palaces, ministries, and intelligence headquarters, could be targeted to disrupt governance and decision-making.

Economic Centers: Industrial complexes, power plants, refineries, and transportation hubs may be targeted to weaken the opponent's economy and infrastructure.

Urban Centers: Major cities and urban areas might be hit to cause widespread chaos, panic, and damage, impacting both civilian populations and morale.

Communication and Information Networks: Communication centers, satellite facilities, and data centers could be targeted to disrupt the opponent's ability to coordinate and gather intelligence.

Strategic Infrastructure: Bridges, tunnels, dams, and other critical infrastructure could be attacked to hinder movement, transportation, and resource management.

Cultural and Historical Sites: These targets may be attacked for symbolic reasons, aiming to undermine the opponent's identity and cultural heritage.

Population Centers: Enemy missiles might aim for densely populated areas to cause casualties, displacement, and humanitarian crises.

Defensive Capabilities: If known, the enemy might target any existing defensive capabilities, such as anti-aircraft systems and naval assets, to reduce the opponent's ability to defend against further attacks.

Missile Launch Sites: If the opponent has any missile capabilities, the enemy might target these launch sites to limit the opponent's ability to retaliate.

It's important to note that the choice of targets would depend on the strategic goals of the attacking country, the nature of the conflict, the opponent's capabilities, and the specific geopolitical context. A missile defense system can play a crucial role in intercepting and neutralizing incoming threats, mitigating the impact of such attacks.

You'll feel she lied to you.

She probably had that hymen break or blood flow some time ago and the article just made her realize what happened was her hymen breaking.

Right now asking you the question has put it in your subconscious the likelihood of her hymen being broken based on what you explained to her.

If you ever say she's not a virgin when I have sex with her or doubt her virginity, she will refer you back to this conversation you had with her.
