You forgot Abia State suffered 30 years setback because of Unmitigated Kidnapping from 2008 to 2012.

Abia State was making headway through private and public contributions until it became the epicenter of Kidnapping in Nigeria. Businesses left, Investors and Medium and Large Scale Industrialists left for neighboring States especially Anambra Stats.

Projects and Capital developments collapsed, contractors, bankers, millionaires etc were target of kidnapping hence there was total collapse of the State in 4 years until Jonathan appointed Gen Ihejirika as Army chief and was commissioned to tackle the menace which took him a year to stop.

Abia State is just rebuilding and should be seen as such.

Abia State requires Federal Government intervention and more also the Federal Government abandoned Abia State through these four years ad no capital project nor reconstruction was done during this period.
