Today alone i lonely stand
empty in the midst of plenty
though my friends surpass the seashore
alone i must stand to stand
for my interest alone in my heart lie

Alone alone on an endless plane
alone like a lone star in the vast sky
my future alone on me depends
i am the only player in this game
and the world around my spectator

if i fail alone i fail
for no one but me the failure bear
so alone my mind on me depends
and i must look up to me alone
to build the world i must live
for alone i lonely stand

                                         Love they say is an enigma
                                         Our hearts like a jar
                                         can't hold two drums of water

                                         An enemy has risen within me
                                         That enemy my lustful heart
                                         No not the devil but my lustful heart

                                         Oh God deliver my eyes
                                         For it has lusted after the flesh
                                         My flesh yearns for pleasure
                                         That flickers and is gone
                                         I don't want to lose my love to lust.
