Does this strategy still work?

I'm about to purchase this mppt charge controller. Is a good mppt charge controller?

200w is a 24V panels, with voltage between 31.5v to 36v. The best way to charge battery with pwm charge controller is to keep the panel voltage battery voltage to avoid power losses hence 80w-180w panels are recommended for a 12v system. But if the charge controller is mppt you are good to go.

I have Two 200 watts panel, how do you suggest i connect both panels, in series or in parallel?

I guess you have a PWM 30A controller

You can get 3 or 4, 150watt panels, you need a panel with 17/18V VMP.
200w may not be suitable.

it's a PWM 60A charge controller.
If i may ask, why won't 200 watts be suitable? Because i already have bought two 200 watts panel few months back

@Emmypam Your panel Vmp may be too close to the battery voltage.
When insolation is high, measure voltage at the input terminal of the controller and also the voltage of the battery.

I have two brand new 200 watts panel connected in parallel, both panels have a maximum power current of 11 amp. But when i connect it to my pwm 60A charge controller, they both produce around 5-7 amps total instead of 22A. What could be the problem?
