"Dad when are you coming back home ? " Stella asked her dad Mr Owen grayson who was going to yet another business trip , his wife Kimberly is at the door with a visible angry look
' Owen can't you just postpone this trip it is barely a month you arrived from China ' she said almost screaming
' oh Kim i promise i will make it up with you guys , its just two days baby ' Owen said while hugging his beautiful wife
'and you going to take us on a ride when you come back ' his 15 years old boy , Ian said disrupting the romantic session , 'yea that's true we will all go on a ride i promise ' Owen agreed .
Picking his suitcase he got into his Toyota camry 2010 model and drove out of his big house with a lot of thoughts on his mind . While driving from lekki to the airport Owen thought of a lot from his ever blossoming business to his beautiful wife and family and also thinking of Jane , Ian's biological mother and her painful death ,also on his mind he thought of how he lashed with a horse whip Ian two years ago when he gave Stella , his sister a c-shaped scar on her right arm , just then he remembered his issue with gusto and made a mental note to rectify the issue when he gets back ' i can't afford to die now' he muttered to himself

'Target approaching his jet ' Eric spoke into the tiny device connecting him and the others
'take him out now' another man said . With this Eric put took a shot with a GPMG Mounted on a tripod at the unsuspecting Owen making his worst dream come true.

The news of Owen's death was a big shock to his family ,after his burial organized by his wife and friend since he has no existing family members , his will was read and after all , preparations are made by Kim to take to Ian and Stella back to the states (where she came from) .

TWO WEEKS LATER

' We are getting late for the flight ' Kim said to hasten her children who were still eating
'Mum aren't we even entitled to say goodbye to our friends ' Stella said 'especially uchenna ' she quickly added
' No, i don't want anybody to know we are going back to US only uncle Ade knows but don't worry your cousin max and my sister will help you make new friends ok ?' Kim replied hastily
'ok ma' the kids replied
