It lovely knowing that you need a business partner, well am a little bit surprised that you are doing this, cos i thougth you're never interested in working with people, especially those tha you do not have apersonal rapport with. M-A-N, i love your gurt, i love your business line and though i've never met you i person - i love your kinda person.
Meanwhile, sometimes back i sent a couple of mails to your about a business plan that i've got (Guess you might not remember: the nairaland fan club idea), you never reply me or rather let me say you were too busy with your movie project. I love that anyway.

I understand what Naiarlanders felt about the purported Nairaland End-of-the-year party, but i must state here categorically that Mr. Admin is a very busy man, so let's try and understand this so that we too can keep the trend going on Nairaland and not expecting too much like he's the Nairaland 'Moses' who is to provide every program and packages for nairaland to be much fun. I think its high time we assisted to spice up Nairaland in our own little ways.

About the nairaland party, since that is gone and gone forever (the end of the year party), i think we should create something new and classic for nairalanders.

In respect of this, i want us to organise NAIRALAND VALENTINE PARTY

Interested individuals who wants to partner in organising the Nairaland Valentine Party should please mail jaittojeffrey@yahoo.com and lets discuss on how this can work out.

By having a list of interested partners would help to remove and cut away unserious people that would kill our passion and determination thats why i'm requesting you to mail me and i would be sending the valentine party game plan to only those that show interest (details of what is already on ground and what we would have to do to make it the biggest party ever in Nigeria would be discussed with the partners)

However, only 15-20 persons are needed as the organisers.

Please, partners should endeavour to send little details about themselves which would help in chosing those that are qualified to be the organizers. Information like sex, age range, social class, marital status, communication skill and location is highly needed.

The date and location would be sent to the forum as soon as the organisers conclude the Party plan.

Nairalander should please leave their sugeestion on the forum as a way of uplifting Nairaland.

A friend of mine was planning to go for the holidays and she contacted the NYSC office in Abuja to confirm when posting would be, she was told that because of the election, it's gonna be ending of January or early february.
I think this is true, because those in serving now would be having there matching out parade on the 19th Of January,2007 and 2 weeks would be used to prepare the camp for new batch.
Then it's likely gonna be ending of january.

A business idea that, they can be the first to recon with Nigerian Campuses and Nigeria
students by placing a billboard in front of each Nigerian Universities displaying billboards like
"Welcome To UNILAG, MTN Makes Life Beautiful For Us On Campus" with images
of Unilag students.
This would make first timer on the campus know that it is MTN that 90% of
the students use, thus get one for himself or boost MTN brandloyalty on the campus.

What do you think? You can sell the above idea to this coy as SUG or as a student for
them to support your institution or as a private individual.

I would like to suggest you putting your idea down in a sketch form,then get someone you can trust-like your brother or close friend-who will not sell your 'brain child' out,then analyse everything to him on how you think it would work as if he's the MD of the coy you are proposing the project to. Notice to the way he react to your speech, i mean is he fascinated or indifferent about it? This would tell you how to fine tune your proposal when writing it down in detail.
However, get a copyright by using a letter head paper and a copyright,or patent for your project, because i can't guaranttee you that once the idea gets to different coy,they might hijack it and modify it.
You can contact me for guideline on how to write a busness proposal that sell fast for telecom firms- cos i work with an advertising agency that handles MTN advert - and with my little experience i think i know what most telecom coy wants to to see first.
Besides, i also have a big idea that i've packaged for them, just witing for Monday(official resumption day) to hit their office since i've already got my guys their. (But, the truth is - to have an eye in a multinational, be ready to negotiate with the key men-i hope you understand what i mean)
