i agree with you, he has to show blue print for him to be taken serious. If you are afraid of people stealing your ideas, you can just give hint on what the business is all about.

There is an uncle of mine who has been looking for 38m he paid into his account with UBA and till date they have not given him any answer as to what happened or where his money is. For more than a year now he has been pleading with them to pay him back his money but they keep turning him around. I know this sounds incredible but its the truth.In any case, very soon this matter shall be in the glare of the whole world for people to see the kind of banks that we now have in this country.We can not continue like this in this country.
My advise to everybody,particularly those making constant payment and withdrawals from banks is that they should always request monthly statements and make sure you go through them carefully,banks now are not what banks used to be. There are many people working in the bank now that like OPM( other peoples money) In the case of my uncle,I promise you all that we will soon have it published in all the dalies for the whole world to see what is happening in UBA now

your uncle should consider seeking legal action. N38M is not a small money. Except he has some kind of interest in the bank else, i see no reason why he should still keep silent for about one year now

Though the result is bad but not as bad as many analysts expected.
And the good part of it is that the bank's financial statements now show fairly true the real state of affairs in the bank.

I am sure all their overpriced products is as a result of them not being used to thie same level of taxation that applies here in the UK. They are only transfering it to the consumer.

Maybe their target market are Nigerian politicians who need to stash money away abroad.

I hope all these banks won't soon be found out to be flouting the rules of practice that apply here.

Seun I beg to differ , I am not insinuating that planing is not necessary but emphasizing even when all other variables are available cost of operation here in Nigeria is the main set back.
I have seen start up that got going well, but seeing all the profits going to cost of operation eg diesel for power, lent, maintenance of equipment which most of the parts are importated and so on.
Remember even when could predict other variables, you can never predict cost of operation until you are into the business.

a lot of things go into the planning stage. It is at the planning stage that you factor in so solution to the likely problems that may come up.

I funded my master card since morning, before 9am to be precise and this is 8pm it is not ready.

I have called their Card Services phone line and nobody is telling me anything and their GT Connect is not even ready to proffer solutions and not to talk of returning calls.

Ya that is true, they really need to work on their system, i equally funded my master card on thursday and till date have not got the value

I really feel bad about the whole issue. There is this book FRAUD EXAMINATION, more than 20% of the content of the book is on Nigerian scam. They spend a lot of time educating their people on how to avoid the Nigerian scam.

The only solution i think will help this country come out of this horrible situation is hinged on two things; Citizens education and Real eradication of poverty and unemployment.
