Religion / Bible Record Of The Pope Handing Power To Jesus Christ by EmperorAugustus(m): 3:01pm On Jun 19, 2015
A revelation of the vision of Prophet Daniel, in Daniel Chapter 7, showing the Pope handing over power to a man whose description could be no other than Jesus Christ.

Bible reference:

“During this vision in the night, I saw what looked like a human being. He was approaching me, surrounded by clouds, and he went to the one who had been living for ever and was presented to him.
He was given authority, honour, and royal power, so that the people of all nations, races, and languages would serve him. His authority would last forever, and his kingdom would never end.” (Daniel 7:13-14)

Celebrities / Photo Of Tupac Shakur Opening A Christmas Gift When He Was A Boy by EmperorAugustus(m): 7:31pm On Dec 31, 2013
A photo of a very young Tupac Shakur happily holding his Christmas gift has surfaced on Twitter. He knelt down behind a Christmas tree shouting in excitement as his mother opened her hands wide ready for an embrace or a kiss. The gift is evidently a book. But, is it a music or rap book?

Politics / Re: Jerry Gana Says Solomon Lar Is The Mandela Of Nigeria by EmperorAugustus(m): 11:36pm On Dec 07, 2013
Plateau State Governor, Jonah Jang Friday, renamed the State University after the late Chief Solomon Lar, regarded as the founding father of the old Plateau state, who passed on recently in the United States of America after a brief illness.

This is as Professor Jerry Gana described Lar as the Mandela of Nigeria, and said he would be greatly missed especially his belief in unity

Politics / Jerry Gana Says Solomon Lar Is The Mandela Of Nigeria by EmperorAugustus(m): 7:52pm On Dec 07, 2013
Professor Jerry Gana insulted us as Nigerians and spat on the faces of millions of the citizens of the world who are at the moment mourning the demise of Nelson Mandela. Realizing Madiba's death has eclipsed Solomon Lar's, he chose to use sycophantic crooked means to draw attention to a man that never had impact on our lives.

Mandela, amidst his clout, stayed in South Africa. On the contrary, the said Solomon Lar died abroad and his corpse was flown back to Nigeria. But this did not deter Jerry Gana from equating him to HRH Madiba.

It is suffocating to see how Nigerian politicians continue to bask in lies and deceit. These attitudes render some of us to wonder if we are cursed. It is painful that as we continue to clamour for change in this country, those that held it hostage are not showing a sign to move ahead.

Today, the entire nation is paying dearly for the refusal of these men to do what is right. Yet, they are not bothered that people are being kidnapped in southern Nigeria, Terrorists are depriving northern Nigerians of sleep, armed robbery is now a free for all, cult groups have dissected our society, barbaric ritual killings are on the high side, and other menace to this society.

Obasanjo deserves and earns it. He is the nationalist we have ever had in this country. Twice he had placed Nigeria on the path to Democracy. He negotiated the end of the Biafra War. He is instrumental in the professionalization of Nigeria's military thus discouraging further military intervention. At a time when Nigeria was divided along tribal and ethnic lines, Obasanjo worked with Nigerians from the north and east to unite the nation. He ensured justice and equity in political power distribution by introducing a formula that saw an Ijaw man becoming vice president, and later president of the federal republic of Nigeria. The list is endless.

Can you afford to fight with the touts in polling stations?
kITA TITA: We can. If those who are informed enough will participate in the electoral process. We leave voting for the poor, the illiterate and the touts. And the candidates are the corrupt and puppets of the rich and powerful.

That we haven't produced a 'leader' doesn't mean that we can't.

They can be hyped. Government will force us to mourn by declaring curfew nation-wide. They will feel the airwave with eulogies, while sycophants and cronies will use the media to bombard our ears and eyes. Headline will be "Father of the Nation is Dead".

Religion / Re: Pastors Asking All Virgins To Step Out. Is It Right? by EmperorAugustus(m): 9:46pm On Dec 05, 2013
It is absolutely wrong! Some Nigerian Pastors like to pry into private affairs. Isn't it time the Congregations introduce questions and answers sessions? Because pastors can't continue assuming they know everything without being challenged.

The quest to rally around the Nigerian project continues. It is true that some Nigerians are traumatized by economic hardship amidst an evidently booming economy. The present situation will change for the better when the masses recognize the power of their roles in nation building.

The era of placing the collective destiny of Nigerians in the hands a helpless few in government must be a thing of the past. People must organize themselves to pressure groups, neighborhood watch, corporative group, NGO, voluntary groups, and more; to confront everyday practical problems.

Young people must abandon the mindset that only Government can provide job. They must develop entrepreneurial spirit to evoke new small and medium scale businesses through out the length and breadth of the country.

Banks must not restrict small loans to traders alone. They must extend loans to young people who have viable business plans. Just as they are doing with petty traders at the moment, they can as well work with these young people to develop their businesses.

Nigerians must honour those who have served this country. It is sad that kidnappers are targeting retired Army Generals....http://www.searchlightnigeria.com/2013/11/a-step-towards-greater-nigeria-that-is.html
Religion / Restricting Nigerian "Men Of God" Misleading People On Miracles by EmperorAugustus(m): 12:00am On Nov 24, 2013
Road accident is killing us all, and we think it is a good thing to exploit travelers by offering paid prayers at every Motor Park?

It is disgusting how you prefer to idolize... these criminal wizards, or Pastor?. Now, our people could go ahead to commit all sort of crimes because they think these spiritualists will save them?

The bogus claims of so called "men of God" could fix problems that are evidently direct consequences of indiscipline, have gone beyond the disgusting scenes of claims of miracles on Television to embarrassing internet posts.

While the unbelievable drama of spiritualists performing miracles on TV are by a large extent restricted to Nigerian audience, taking the same to the Internet will definitely make mockery of the Nigerian nation.

Here is an example of a hilarious "man of god" miracle claim published on the internet for the whole word to see:

Many bad things used to happen to me. there is virtually no week people will not have reason to tell me sorry...my life was characterized with failures. There is nothing I put my hands to do that something will not go wrong. I was given a flyer inviting me...details at http://www.searchlightnigeria.com/2013/11/restricting-nigerian-men-of-god.html
Entertainment / Mike Tyson Returns Evander Holyfield’s Ear by EmperorAugustus(m): 10:53pm On Nov 22, 2013
Mike Tyson showed up at Evander Holyfield's door holding a box. He handed the box over to Evander Holyfield saying, “I’m sorry, Evander, “It’s your ear.” The encounter was a funny commercial sponsored by Foot Locker which is celebrating it’s Week of Greatness 2013 by making all things right in the world.

The ear-bitten-off saga took place in the much anticipated June 28th 1997 re-match that promised to be either a repeat of November 9th 1996 when Holyfield defeated Tyson, or an opportunity for Tyson to take a revenge. Sadly, it ended when Mike Tyson took a bite out of Holyfield's ear.
