Valid question you asked but I can understand how you are trying to be sneaky. Jews in ancient times or during the time of Moses and Jesus were not simply ravaged and chased out of Holy Land. They were chased out and banned by God because of their rebellious attitude. It didn't happen once. It happened twice.

First time they disobeyed God and involved in criminalities, God sent Babylonian army to ravage their Homeland and ruined everything. They were banned for 40 years. Later they asked for forgiveness and God returned them to the Holy Land on the same conditions they were given in the first place. I forgot to mention the conditions.

The conditions were:

✓ they must believe in God and His messangers

✓ they must be righteous in conduct

These were the two conditions they must fulfill but they violated these conditions repeatedly.

So the second time they violated the conditions God sent Roman army to destroy them. But this time they were banned forever. The first time they were banned was after Moses.. Second time was after Jesus but before prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Let me simply take you back a little bit. The holy land was given to them on conditions.. They were never given permanent Deed to the Holy Land. It is like mortgage. If you default on your mortgage bank will take over. So they defaulted on the conditions and God expelled them.

So before they were given the land there were people living there as well. Read these Bible and QUR'AN verses. They showed that people were there. I have attached Bible evidences because it will be too much of I posted texts. But this is QUR'AN reference.

Quran 5 vs 20 and up

20. And when Musa said to his people: O my people! remember the favor of Allah upon you when He raised prophets among you and made you kings and gave you what He had not given to any other among the nations.

21. O my people! enter the holy land which Allah has prescribed for you and turn not on your backs for then you will turn back losers.

22. They said: O Musa! surely there is a strong race in it, and we will on no account enter it until they go out from it, so if they go out from it, then surely we will enter.

23. Two men of those who feared, upon both of whom Allah had bestowed a favor, said: Enter upon them by the gate, for when you have entered it you shall surely be victorious, and on Allah should you rely if you are believers.

24. They said: O Musa! we shall never enter it so long as they are in it; go therefore you and your Lord, then fight you both surely we will here sit down.

25. He said: My Lord! Surely I have no control (upon any) but my own self and my brother; therefore make a separation between us and the nation of transgressors.

26. He said: So it shall surely be forbidden to them for forty years, they shall wander about in the land therefore do not grieve for the nation of transgressors.

So you can see they were banned by Divine Plan. Their records have been erased. They no longer have ownership of the Holy Land.

Interestingly Quran predicted their return to the Holy Land in the End Time in sura 17:104. God said He will bring them back to the Holy Land to punish them. So israel will enjoy for a while. But the same verse says that if they return to wickedness God will also return His punishment. Now they have returned to wickedness and unrighteousness by bombing buildings, killing people, encouraging homosexuality, loaning money on interest which Jesus beat the hell out of them for and all types vices. So do expect their punishment.

This is why some Jews are afraid to return to the Holy Land because they recognized this verse of QUR'AN to mean an entrapment. Yes, indeed, it is an entrapment and dangerous for the Jews to settle in Israel/Jerusalem axis. I hope you keep supporting them and live longer to see when they will be severely punished by Divine Law.

So you can see from these evidences proved they strayed from the way of Moses. So how's did you come to conclusion that Jews followed Moses footsteps in religion?.

if am right, the only known baptistism I read or know of was Jesus(p). All human beings are naturally born Muslims. So there is no need to take any spiritual birth unless they have been practicing religions other than Islam and decides to revert to Islam. Jesus was Muslim from birth till death. Why would he need to be cleansed again to receive "holy spirit". This means that Jesus lost his spiritual status at some point and later had to be cleansed in order to be upright.
