I felt bad for him naturally and Rome had to intervene, such that the Israelis sent him secretly to Rome where he was redeployed. So it's not strange to see many follow his path.
What I know is that many Arab Christians enjoy their rightful democracy under Israeli government than those living under Hamas. So, you can't use the opinion of this Priest who obviously is not under Hamas' rule to sway emotion for your Muslims. The Christians suffering persecution under Muslim rule is never your problem, so don't act like you care now because your Muslim folks are foolishly killing themselves
