This line is a proof that China is fighting islam and banned or intends to ban the religion completely not just to Sinicize islam.

Practising Islam has been made forbidden in parts of China, with individuals caught praying, fasting, growing a beard or wearing a hijab, a headscarf worn by Muslim women, facing the threat of arrest.

Its law did not outrightly say it banned islam but practical action of the govt points towards that. This means China is fighting islam. Personally, I think all African countries should renegotiate their sovereignty. It is foolhardiness to be clingy to the greedy, unlawful, illegal and immoral partitioning of Africa in 1884 by white racists.
