AbdulSleeky:If blasphemy law is "barbaric", there is no difference btw it's barbarism then and now. You have not argued constructively against my position. Until you can openly criticize Stand Your Ground Law, Holocaust Denial Law, Hate Speech Law, then, you are wasting your precious time with blasphemy law |
AbdulSleeky:I know it is waste of time dragging words with u. I have shown you several cases in western world but you turned blind eye. I showed you how indian guy was facing 10 yrs in jail for his utterances. I showed you German holocaust denial law amongst several others. Is it not clear you have problems with islam and muslims. There are still more ridiculous laws in western world you dont know about. I also presented Florida "stand your ground" law which is equivalent to jungle justice which means if you argue with someone or someone suspects you of wrong intent towards them they have right to kill you and use stand your ground law as defense. So keep ranting about islam. Do you remember case of Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman. That should give youa clue. |
AbdulSleeky:You have nothing upstairs jare |
AbdulSleeky:what is the texture of your problem? |
AbdulSleeky:Now that i explained fact to you how court works, you have no counterproductive argument. I am in my house, come and hand me over to them. Besides, how is this whole thing your business?. Kano state blasphemy law is only for muslims. You are not a muslim Jesus you talked about is none of your business. You are not christian. The accused is not your family. He is not atheist nor christhiest like you. So how is this your business if you don't have special interest?. You should be horsewhipped 100 lashes for sticking your nose in this. |
AbdulSleeky:You don't understand anything. I thought you were brilliant. If you can only appeal bcuz you are not guilty, how about many people found guilty and they appealed and their sentence reduced?. You never heard of this?. I will give you one example. In New York few years ago, Indian guy who is a student with Green Card or permanent resident was found guilty of utterances against autistic friend. His friend committed suicide because of that. Note that he didn't touch his autistic patient. He only said words jokingly to him. In America, if you are Green Card holder and you commit a crime that attracts 10 yrs in jail, you will served jail term and be deported which means you lose your green card. So the guy was jailed. His lawyer appealed and there was outcries from masses to forgive him. His case was retried and he was sentenced to time served which was about 2yrs. They did this to save his green card status. This is besides the point that blasphemy laws are barbaric and foolish.Germany has Holocaust denial law. What's the difference? |
AbdulSleeky:You don't understand how law works. If law says someone is charged for blasphemy and it says death is the punishment , it doesn't mean the person will be killed. Govt lawyer must prove beyond reasonable doubt and defense lawyer must also prove he did not commit the crime exactly as described. If found guilty but not exactly as described by law, punishment may be less. For example, if you are charged for manslaughter, this crime is imprisonment for life. But your attorney may argue that it was involuntary which may reduce your jail term to around 12 months and probation. You see the gap?. Plus appeal is another option where attorney pleads for leniency. |
AbdulSleeky:You are still on this?. I know it pains you. Do you know that it is atheists that actually put that up on the internet?. And Christians themselves crafted blasphemous images of Jesus. By default Christians and some atheists are guilty?. And please quote me where I said the guy should be killed for blasphemy?. I said I support blasphemy law. Judgement derives from it is up to the govt. What's wrong with you? |

Kenn55:Good observation and I think you are one of the those who make sense a lot. So to answer your question, the reason many or most muslims focus on palestine more is bcus their issue is directly mentioned in religious texts and they have connection to world conflict or world peace. It is a defining moment. If muslims are able to successfully effect peace in Palestine it will reflect on every other muslim maligned regions like kashmir and china and those occupied majority muslims places we don't know. So in another word, Palestine is the heart of muslims pain. For as long as it does not resolve, other places where muslims are suffering will not. Palestine is center stage. You understand now?. And yes, I do know about muslims politicians not speaking up about China treatment of muslims. It is pure politics and they will have to answer that in their graves. You are very correct about that. Kashmir people have said what you said too. |
Kcblunt:Oh ok. You didnt quote me properly then. My post is clear though. I am sorry, I am not just in mood to type that much today. The ayah means exactly that. Even you can recite it like that too. It is a good nakali |
I don't fully understand your question perhaps but it seems you quoted me?. If I am right, i think i posted something about this ayah and "mubin" you mentioned. Is that what it is and who was trying to corner you by any means? Kcblunt: |
LyfeJennings:I will divert this to Alhajiemeritus and others |
Kcblunt:interesting.. Your situation is identical to emekaraj. |
I honestly wonder too. It is crazy. This is why I support religious Laws. They have been so hypocritical. They are so religious and believe in the Books but adopted democratic system. It is not gonna werk AbdulSleeky: |
LyfeJennings:may I ask you first what you know about ilmu ghaaib and Rijaalal Ghaaib? |
Can You Prove This Wrong ![]() THE SAD TRUTH ABOUT NIGERIANS! I run a manufacturing business and a trading business. The biggest challenge in my manufacturing business is not power, or infrastructure, the biggest challenge is getting honest staff. Everyone we hire appears to be on a mission to steal as much as possible. Inflated invoices, recording less than the actual number of units produced. The worst part of it all is that all the fraud we've uncovered is not done by a single person, it's usually many staff who collude with each other, from production, to sales, to finance, even top management. There was a year I overhauled management 3 times in a year. But I've found a solution sha, I now use Indian management. So competent, so honest and so straightforward. I thought they were expensive at first with all the visa fees, accommodation, house staff, but now that losses due to staff theft have been reduced to a minimum, and efficiency increased, the Indian management has turned out to be cheaper than the previous Nigerian management. Now, all sensitive positions involving money go to Indians. Nigerians are only allowed in non-sensitive positions. I used to criticize companies like Dangote Group that hire so many Indians when there are many unemployed Nigerians, but now, I understand their decision. My biggest challenge in the trading business is the same, getting honest staff. The form of trading occurs in the open market, and involves staff having access to huge sums of money running into a few millions. I know how much I pay to security companies to provide escorts for the staff, not to prevent robbery, but to ensure that the staff go straight to the bank to deposit the money after the day's sales and not disappear with my money. This money spent on security companies is even enough to be declared as profit. We have to spend on CCTV, biometric scanners and other things that wouldn't be needed if staff weren't looking for the slightest opportunity to steal. It got so bad at a point that my main criteria for employing staff was no longer competency but honesty. At least, competency and skills can be learnt, but once you're dishonest, you're dishonest. We always complain of the economy and how they're no jobs. I know people abroad who would have loved to set up job creating businesses in Nigeria but they won't because they can't get any trustworthy person to run it. I know people in Nigeria with so much money, they want to start factories and other job-creating businesses but they can't because they are occupied elsewhere and can't get any trustworthy person to run the business. So instead of investing in the real sector and creating jobs, they'll just buy treasury bills, while the thieves are shouting no jobs. Many big businesses would have been born in Nigeria if we could engage in partnerships, but we can't because you can't trust anyone. This is one advantage the Indians and Lebanese have over us in Nigeria. They can pull resources together and do mega-business, unlike Nigerians that because only one person must do everything since we can't partner, end up with small, tiny businesses. Start a poultry and they will be stealing your eggs. Some will even go ahead to be killing the chickens so that they'll be allowed to take them home. Start an entertainment/viewing/game center and they'll be pocketing your money. On the days you're around at the business, the money realized will be x10 of the money realized when you're not around. Because they're eating your money. Lease out a vehicle to a driver to use and watch as he'll finish you. Start a restaurant, the same thing will happen. More than half of the total food ingredients will end up in their personal kitchens. Even ordinary provisions shop, they will find a way to steal. You'll see them with that their evil, wicked saying "na where person dey work, na there e dey chop, na e make dem dey callam workchop/workshop"...... Just imagine, justifying theft at work. And you'll see these people pointing their crooked fingers at politicians when they're not any different. I usually say the reason most Nigerians haven't stolen billions of government money, is simply lack of opportunity. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria. |
@Kcblunt, I think you need to take this advice by Alhaji into cognisance. Alhajiemeritus: |
LyfeJennings:for discussion purposes, are you a Muslim, a practicing Muslim or nonmuslim?. |
LyfeJennings:You see this, am not worried about it. You are failing elementary theology which is the one below. You shouldn't dabble into above if you can't understand universality of prophet muhammad(SAW) confirmed by Quran. How possible could Muhammed be sent to the entire universe in the medieval times when he didn't even conquer the entire earth. & The earth is just a pinch of salt in the milky way.Just one analogy I will use. It might pointless to quote verses from Quran. So base on what you said, example I will give you is, when Britain was a ruling state in the world, did britain conquer every nation in the world?. Did Britain rule every cranny of the world to be called superpower?. Answer is no. Yet it is said to be superpower and no other country on earth could challenge her authority. Similarly, US is the current superpower, does it conquered every cranny of the world?. No of course. Yet, its ruling supersedes all other rivals. In the same analogy, prophet muhammad(SAW) was sent to the world. He was not a "conqueror" but a prophet and a messenger. He only conquered territory that waged war on him. But his message was universal. The same way superpowers feel their message of democracy must be universal way of life. Let me stop here |
Kcblunt:you need to contact emekaraj. It appears you two might be in the same realm |
He's such a nurd ![]() Bottom line is, he's trying to get btw her legs If you dig enough that's where he's going but to start with money like that to gain attention automatically placed him in simp spot. |
Kcblunt:Did someone give you nakali and what kind? |
Kcblunt:well, I would not atttach any significance to this. But I understand danger poised by geico to humans. These creatures might ate food poison without your knowledge. Just be careful of those things. They have ruined families. Plus you never can tell how Allah protect you from them. Try to do some critical sanitation for precaution purposes. |
LyfeJennings:do you have evidence to say this and why do you think so?. I'm referring to highlighted sentence |
LyfeJennings:You at right, sir. Seeing them is tantamount to ملك الموت |
Hkana:One of the benefits of the surah is eyonu olohun (Allah's Mercy). There are more he mentioned but this is what I remembered. I posted his lectures on my profile before. |
