To my dear non-Muslims posters, you are also guilty as much as op and his supporters. You blamed Islam and entire Muslims because of this write-up. This shows that you are clueless as well. You are not different from almajiri. To my dear Muslim brother who posted this outdated "fatwa" by Sheikh bin Baz(ra), it is very important that you update yourself about rulings in Islam. Update yourself and broaden your Islamic knowledge before posting things on the internet. Because of your posts is the reason non-Muslims on this platform are raining insults on Islam, our prophet and entire Muslims. I have never argued with anyone on this issue of protest islamically since #endsars began. I only read arguments and counterarguments and posted just one verse of the Qur'an and one Hadith. I didn't engage in back to back arguments because it doesn't worth it. But I am forced to say something after reading entire posts here. I read fatwa posted by op and one thing caught my attention which is, there is no single Ayah of Qur'an (correct me if i missed it) to back up his points. Qur'an is supreme authority and it sits in judgement over Hadith and it sits in judgement over opinion of ulama. You said no protest is allowed in Islam. I even read a clown who is not new to me said "protest is a major sin and kufr". I need not to engage the guy. He's a known clown and I know where he belongs. Anyways, protest is allowed in Islam. I am saying this with full confidence and I will not reply to any silly comment about it. There are several proofs that sahaba(companions of the prophet) engaged in protests whether during or after prophet muhammad SAW himself. But that's not the evidence I want to use. I will only quote one Ayah of Qur'an to rubbish this lopsided so called "fatwa". But before then, let me remind my reading audience that this situation shouldn't even have any religious undertone. I don't know why Muslims argue whether it is permissible to protest or not. This is about human rights guaranteed under Nigeria constitution. So why is this religious issue?. Now, this Ayah of Qur'an I want to quote is only in the context of this ongoing conflict. Intelligent reading audience should understand this Ayah of Qur'an in this context. No Muslim can refute Qur'an. We can argue about Hadith which may bring about difference of opinions but Qur'an is our primary source of information and guidance. Sura 4:75 says: "And what is [the matter] with you that you Look at this Ayah how it beautifully summarized outcries of Nigerians at the hands of SARS and Nigerian govt. Qur'an is for the past, present and future. Which means Qur'an is to be understood with time. In another word, this ayah is mutlaq [unrestricted]. I need not to explain the Ayah in the context of ongoing protests because it is self explanatory. If you don't understand it, it means Allah doesn't want you to understand. From Hadith, I am glad that OP himself quoted famous Hadith that backs protest but he muddled up unrelated, unparallel examples to draw his conclusion which I found very pathetic. We all know the famous Hadith. The Hadith clearly suggests every human has the right to self determination to raise awareness if you see evil being perpetrated. Nigerian govt has clearly perpetrated evil in public. I don't need to quote the Hadith. It is mentioned by OP himself. So yes, Islam permits peaceful protest. If peaceful protest leads to unforeseen circumstances like what we are seeing with #endsars, it is bound to happen because there will always be crazy opportunists or mercenaries. Even Black Lives Matter in America started peacefully but ended up with violence. Recall that it was peaceful protest that brought about restoring right of hijab in Nigeria especially in the case of Amasa Firdaus. If we are to apply this lopsided fatwa in Nigeria, Christians will take all your rights from you while you sit on outdated fatwa meant to oppress people. Islam is a natural RELIGION. Please stop portraying otherwise. Islam allows for us to demand our legal rights. If people get killed or injured in the process, well there are several verses in the Quran to this effect. This is one of them. "Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said,"When is the help of Allah ?" Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near." Q2:214 Perhaps, this protests across the country send clear message to the govt. We never know if Allah's Help is nigh. Finally, Allah says in the Quran ".....Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves...." Freedom is not Free Ire ooooooo Salam alaikum |
chinchonglee:you understand that this is writer's opinion before you jumped to conclusion of castigating entire religion? You never thought there are opposing views to this with evidence? |
BigBashiru:It seems you dont understand my post. Forget about me boiling. And goodluck a@british business success. If you watched the video you wouldn't send me this your reply. This is not about being emotional. I dont live in the damn country. I am only sympathetic towards people living the country. So now you know |
BigBashiru:This comment of yours put my heart to rest. I was boiling on my keyboard with your comments. Now, let me tell you that Nigerian govt doesn't really need any help from any govt including UK. There is no free lunch anywhere in the world. Please watch this 7 mins clip and you should open your eyes after you watched it. UK and others are not your friends. They live on Africa nightmares. Please pay close attention in this man's statements. "We need Africa to be impoverish" So please watch to the end and tell me if at all Nigeria needs their help. Thank you. And not only this. Please check out Dr. Arikana Chihombori on youtube for comprehensive understanding of Africa calamities. https://www.facebook.com/hafsatabiola/videos/10158861685670421/ |
BigBashiru:You see now you missed road?. It is very shameful the so called youths are not well informed. Nigeria has really lost its future when you can not even understand how this whole trash works. This is about ongoing conflict in the country and you are talking about laying on embargo on the country. Who do you think will suffer under economic sanction, govt or citizens?. I am very sorry. I don't mean to be rude but truth must be told, your comment doesn't make sense. You also talked about BH, did UK not know BH haram existed for over a decade now?. Why not send their army since 10 years ago to obliterate BH?. Please come up with another tangible reason why UK should take action on Nigeria?. I will tell you what you dont know after you reply or depending on your reply. |
BigBashiru:I am just curious,. What action do you want UK parliament to take besides revoking official visas?. Please be specific. Thanks |
Racoon:you understand Nigeria is a sovereign country?. The least you could see was to revoke their UK visa which I would agree with. Involvement of UK and other foreign nations are parts of the Nigeria big problems. It seems the so called Nigerian youths don't even understand politics. The way you guys talk as if Nigeria must be subservient to UK. Imagine you said UK should take action against your own govt. Who dares to tell UK to face corruption charges from another country?. Guy, you all need to wise up. I am so sorry that mind of our youths are as corrupt as their leaders. Under no circumstances should UK has any jurisdictional say in Nigeria politics. This is Nigeria matters and they should be resolved here. Stop being boy boy behind these White people, please. |
Your brothers and sisters are dying in Nigeria and all you can worry about is a dead woman thousands of miles away. Is her life more important than people killed in Nigeria?. I know you have motives for bringing this up. Abeg, carry your brother with you AbdulSleeky:
|
Rilwayne001:abi nau... Some youths don't have sense. They think White people are messiahs. |
oyebode11:you are making sense at the beginning but you are as dumb as him at the end |
DemonInvoker:Thinker you said?. Thinker that is seeking help from the very same monsters that created monsters?. It seems youths self don't have sense. Why do you need UK to intervene in Nigeria matters?. By taking your issues to them means you still considered them your masters. You better wake up from your slumber and realize that Nigerian politicians work for UK govt. It is a script. UK definitely don't like this protest because deplorable state of Nigeria is what makes them rich. Watch this 6 mins clip if you can. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10157693853936381&id=686141380&fs=0&focus_composer=0 |
Another mistake. UK that engineered your problems and you are taking your problems to them?. Receive sense, buddy. I do not support silly petition. Finish the job you started. This is Nigeria's problems. We fight it out and solve it out. Don't take your issues to those clowns. They are not interested in this protest. They are not happy that you protest against govt bcs Nigeria politicians are working for the UK, France etc. By taking your issues to them means you are still subjected to their indirect rule. Do not allow UK to dictate what you want for you. Go on national TV and address your concerns loud and clear to Mr. president Muhammadu Buhari and his House of Assembly. Don't make mistake your forefathers made #EndSARS, #EndUK/FrancegriponNigeria, #EndPoliticiansfatsalary, #Endpolicerutality, #Endforeignmedicaltrips https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZh9kSk796s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwoSiBCQi-8 https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=dr+arikana+chihombori+on+france+ |
AbdulSleeky:I don't live in France. Your question should be directed at french people in France. Your question is silly. Right now my attention is on Nigeria situation. Let france face their own. What's happening is France is none of my business. Why are you forcing your question down my throat?. Both perpetrators are dead. We all heard on the news. Where are you getting to with this?. Take your question to Macron and stop bothering me. Whatever you want to know about the issue, help yourself. https://www.facebook.com/5pillarsuk/videos/3204609322983645/ |
AbdulSleeky:My man, stop bringing on this diversion. Endsars protests never end. And #endsars is just the beginning of reformation. It is gonna go a long way if Nigerians maintain the momentum. So please stop falling for France diversion tactics. France has always been using tactics to divert attention from its obnoxious plan. An Algerian Muslim guy was also killed by French citizen in France before this but there was no outcry. Why is this an exception?. Several Nigerians have died during this protest and you should be concerned about this. Thank you |
AbdulSleeky:whatever interpretation rocks your boat. How does this crap addresses bad situation in Nigeria? |
AbdulSleeky:Thats France problem. Whats my own?. Bringing France situation here is a mere diversion. You are a nigerian so why are you worried about what goes on in France ?. Both parties involved have met their waterloo. Nothing else to talk about. |
AbdulSleeky:what's your problem with France?. You have so many problems in Nigeria to focus your attention on. #ENDSARS#, #ENDPOLITICIANSFATPAYCHECK# This is what's trending. Who cares about France |
You better include and raise flag of.... #ENDBritish/Francegriponnigeria These two bastards are not happy with the protests across the country and diasporans in Uk and France need to stop taking their Nigeria national problems to them to resolve. These two nations are Hyenas |
Excel70:thanks for sharing this. See how hypocritical they are. Assuming this happened up north these clowns would be attacking our prophet. True2god, did you read this thread?. You are so fixed on over 1400 yr relationship while ignoring madness in your own backyard. You act as if you care about "6 year old Aisha" at if she's still 6 yrs old now. I am very reluctant to engage your because you are just recycling the same old trash. I knew at have discussed this topic in the past extensively but you have your motives. I can't help you with that. Anyways, take it or leave it, Aisha (ra) and Anobi Muhammad (SAW) married legally and there was no complaints. So why is true2god in 21st so much concerned about 1400 year old relationship?. Ibere ni o true2god:You are trying to play smart, abi?. I know the game your wanna play. How does this relate to "underage" Aisha?. Surah 65:4 does not state any such thing. Surah does not even mention under age girls. It is wrongly derived meaning of the sentence "and those who have not menstruated". The whole idea of the waiting period (iddat) is to rule out any chance of women being pregnant before re-marrying an other man. Now, pre-pubicent girls because of their biology cannot get pregnant. Therefore there is no logic in asking them to wait for 3 months (or any length of period). "and those who have not menstruated" is for those women who have missed their period and are not sure if they are pregnant or not. They should therefore wait for 3 months. Again, “Those who have not menstruated” would imply someone otherwise of apparent physical maturity who either is late to start menstruating, or who has stopped for whatever medical reason. It discusses menstruation in the context of divorce. The fact that a female had not yet menstruated does not make her a child. The fact that these qualifications apply when a man is divorcing a woman (65:1) shouldn’t be ignored. In the Bible the youngest girl wedded was age 3 And the average age was when a girl got her first period, which is around 9 or 10. And here plenty of Mormons and catholic have gotten in trouble for that.https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.huffpost.com/us/entry/3547303/amp

true2god:what are you saying?. That this verse is referring to "child marriage"?. You must be sick |
true2god:no. It is a branch of scientific knowledge. Listen, bro, am not here to play around. I think i have told you difference. When that prophet drew lines, was he consulting gods like babalawo? It is crazy to compare sand browsing with 'grave visitation'. You visit the grave of loved ones to pay respect to them but do sand browsing to read the future which is considered Idolatry (unless if this is not idolatry in Islam). It seems you don't understand parallel illustration i proposed. So i wont budge. Who told you sand browsing is a science? It is metaphysic and a spiritual practice among the people of Africa and the Arab world. My question is this, what make Islamic sand browsing acceptable while IFA tradition is not acceptable? In Islamic sand browsing, is allah not called?no time to waste with crap. There is nothing called "sand browsing". That's just a terminology in reference to the hadith. Hadith did not say call it that. The hadith says "a prophet who used to draw lines". He drew lines on sand. He could have used slate, board, paper if they were available. You ain't here to anything but waste of time. This is one subject on its own. You will need to enrol and learn if you want to. This platform is not appropriate place for you. Don't let me say you are ignorant please. I have told you why and how Ifa is haram. You are yoruba man and you know too well what babalawo says during ifa divination. Why do we need to waste our time here? |
^^ Your comment was blocked @lograr |
true2god:I knew you were coming here. Ifa was originally pure science in yorubaland. But what makes it haram and forbidden now is alawo have compromised is. They have inculcated deities (their orishas) into it which makes it haram. You can hear their utterances when they honor their ifa pedigrees. I know you have evil intention but I won't buy your bull crap. Go on YouTube and learn from Yoruba professors who have nothing to do with Yoruba deities(religion) but they studied ifa. They would tell you it was science but alawo messed it up. Ifa is now haram. Why are you comparing?. Why didn't you say modern future forecast is also ifa?. Let me give you a knockout. Those day before prophet muhammad SAW, people used to visit graves and did all sorts of rubbishes. When prophet muhammad SAW came he temporarily banned the practice of visiting graves. After his companions are well grounded in Islam he now allowed them to visit graves up till today. Why did prophet forbade early muslims from visiting graves?. It was banned bcus of haram activities perpetrated by pagans. Question is, just because disbelievers used to visit graves and now Muslims do it make Muslims compared to them?. No. It means graves visitation was always human natural disposition or fitra. Now, are only three Muslims visiting graves today?. It is worldwide thing. But it doesn't mean everyone likes it. It is only a recommendation. Some don't like visiting graves like myself. What we do there is what matters. what you dont understand is, sand browsing is old fashion. It doesn't have to be sand. Sand represents paper, board, slate etc. Your hand represents pencil, pen etc. There is nothing spiritual about it. It is calculation or simple science. But it looks crazy bcus in nigeria we don't invest on science and technology. Nigerians are old version but Oyinbo people have quickly advance. |
true2god:the age in the Hadith was a lie and incorrect. Statistic timeline record shows contrary to what Hadith said about her age at the time of marriage. The least that came close to the lowest age was around 11. This was even far from 6 documented. If you study history of hijra, battle of badr, Aisha's age, you get to realize that 6 and 9 didn't come close at all. That was fabricated. I have given you just one example brekkie but it seems you didn't pay attention. I posted that no one was allowed to join to accompany warriors to the battlefield unless they were 15. Aisha(ra) was accompanied companions to the battlefield but he was not as yet married to the prophet until 2 yrs later. This should have given you a clue adjust. I am so so reluctant to bring these aHadith up bcuz they are scattered all over sahid Bukhari and Muslim. But ahadith that claim she was 6 which islamophobic people capitalized on have no statistics data to back them up. |
true2god:geomancy is a branch of scientific knowledge. I asked you to quote from hadith so you could see the difference. Prophet's responses (condemnation) to soothsayers etc was different when he was asked about drawing or "sand browsing". I wish I can refer you to where you can learn more about this?. I am not against geomancy bcuz there was no direct condemnation by the prophet. Modern meteorology falls in this category too. Geomancy is calculation not soothsaying. But it is unfortunate that some people apply ruling of soothsayers for geomancy. I don't like to argue this issue. Sand browsing is old version. It is modernized through technology today. There is no spiritual being in the sand telling people what to do. It is simply calculation or binary. It is coding system. |
^^ Your case is closed jare. You said you answered but you didn't. Here is my question again. Prove to me anyone during the time of the prophet who opposed his marriage to Aisha either due to her "underage" or otherwise?. You can't conclude in 21st century that he was pedophilia when we can't find such allegation in his time. I also asked you for historical breakdown but you can not. Until you can effectively prove there were antagonists then I won't take your serious. I haven't even started bringing out more proves against yours. Only one question I asked but you failed. Better still, bring one hadith that says xyz set of people were against their marriage. Have a good day |
Conrod:He didnt have freedom of religion?. freedom to choose? |
true2god:if you could quote this one what stopped you from quoting everything?. I have not given my opinion or my position on this issue and I am not interested either |
true2god:see, I will continue to waste my time obviously. I am the one giving you attention. Point I am trying to raise is, you can not back up solitary Hadith you quoted. It doesn't have historic backing. Recall few years ago when I was trashing your Bible on rilwayne's thread?. I dug up background of almost all known and unknown bible writers to debunk you guys and your fake religion. None of you was able to refute it. You all left the thread. So if you must quote Hadith, be sure you have back up. This is not about sahih bukhari. There are many solitary aHadith that complement other aHadith to form harmonious whole which you lack in your so called research. You are not a researcher. If you are, you would have seen other historical facts against the Hadith. There are many of them. So the Hadith you quoted is not wahy but statement of someone. It is pretty much 3rd third party that has nothing to do with the prophet himself. And no one said sahih bukhari is 100% valid. So next time be sure you search all aHadith that talk about a topic before you make fool of yourself in public. I know you already made up your mind. So nothing I can say that will change you. I am only posting for future readers, that Anobi Muhammad sallahlah alai wasalam did not marry a 6 yrs old girl. Finally, let it enter my record and your record that you failed woefully to answer a very simple question. Here is my question for you TRUE2GOD again in bold: Please provide evidence that people in those days, whether believers or non-believers including Muhammad's archenemies condemned his marriage to Aisha (ra) based on Aisha's age, or whatever it was? What is the name of this so-called christian doctor and what were his sources?https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.orlandosentinel.com/news/os-xpm-2002-12-04-0212040054-story,amp.html In case the link doesn't work, copy and paste this sentence in your Google search to direct you to the page "The current charge that Muhammad took his third wife, Aisha, when she was a minor is based on apocryphal traditions. The preponderance of evidence suggests that Aisha was between 16 and 19 years old when she married Muhammad." Abu Bakr and his wife opposed mohammed for the fact that Aisha was like Mohammed's niece and his daughter as well. However mohammed argued that they are not related by blood but only by religion hence made Aisha lawful for him.this is just theory without reference and your theory itself is not tenable. Question above stands |
Instead of you to formally enroll in islamic school you are trolling islamic threads to learn from us indirectly. I dont have problem with it by the way. Keep learning bro. By the way you didnt quote this hadith in full from the beginning. true2god: |
