Ok... Yes Nigerian road need those jeep, especially those interior part of major cities now, because hardly there is any proper plan on before people started building their houses there. You'll always see disjointed drainages or even none with its attendance effect on the road. You've got to see our ILR has really expanded but with little planning for those outskirts.

I can't imagine making parallel parking by disjointed drainages in nija. That's strange and scares me right now.

The mileage is not much at all. All these jeeps mentioned above are not common in Nigeria except Highlander,Murano, Lexus etc. But I really like murano partly because of its body design.

I know Toyota floods nija like kilode. I do like Murano design especially when '08 came out. High time to step up and look into Jeep product. I'm guessing reason for me less interest is due to lack of universal mechanical advancement in the country. My in-law told me that his mechanic told him "don't buy this models, don't buy that models because there isn't effective means to repair them in case of breakdown". I would imagine mechanics or auto workshops should have diagnostic machines for any cars in 2018.

It is easy to repair any car now unlike in the 90s. If they are in need of parts that aren't available in the country, they can easily order from US and have it delivered in a week. If feel like the country is just standing still.

This is 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo I was using before I gave it up early last yr due to death wobble. I kept it clean all the time as well.

Jeep is what nigerians need for their roads. And ofcourse range rover is kind of. They just not used to Jeep yet. Laredo is second to least from what i understand. There are different types: Limited, Wrangler, Compass(not my taste), Renegade(not my taste), cherokee(basic) Patriot(not my taste), Overland(one of the best and aggressive looking), Trailhawk(one of the best and aggressive looking), Summit(best), Trackhawk (aggressive). Most of them can climb anything.

Beside, I would like to ask the you the same question about your Bible's Prophets who have Books in today's Bible:

1- Did Moses have any witnesses or was he foretold in any previous book to prove that he was truthful?

2- Did King David have any witnesses or was foretold in the books that came before him? How do you believe in his revelations when he slept with his neighbor's wife?

3- Did Solomon, Ezra, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Job and the rest of the Prophets foretold each others? How do you believe in Solomon's revelations when he said that his wife's "vagina tastes like wine" for him?

4- Were the Disciples of Jesus foretold in the Bible?

5- Was the Disciple Paul foretold in the Bible, since he never even met Jesus in person?

The answer to the all of the above is NO! None of the Bible's Prophets except for Jesus and Muhammad were ever foretold.

There is hadith Qudsi {direct speech of God to prophet Muhammad -peace be upon him). A Sacred Narration (al-Hadith al-Qudsi) is a narration (hadith) which, from the perspective of its meaning, is from Allah, the Exalted, and from the perspective of its wording, from the Messenger of God (Allah bless him and give him peace). [Jurjani, al-Ta`rifat]

There is no doubt there are several ways to interpret and explain Quran, some of which are: Quran explains Quran. Hadith, sahaba, science, philosophy, history, intellect, spirituality etc. The best of it is Quran explains Quran. No one doubts this. All of these are useful tools. Quran does sits in judgement over everything else.

However, you can not underline hadith(and sunnah) bcus it tells us practical and historical backgrounds. It is true there are unfounded stories we can always dump. But when it comes to obligatory worship, this is practical. I need not go over bcus we have talked about this for years now. You end up like christians when you want to pray salat. You just read Quran theoretically to derive your own way. This is not acceptable. You can not claim you are right while ignoring ulama who came much before you. You are welcome to criticize any ahadith you think are inappropriate, but do your homework very well before you undertake this course.

Indeed, those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah have certainly gone far astray. Indeed, those who disbelieve and commit wrong [or injustice] - never will Allah forgive them, nor will He guide them to a path.

O Mankind, the Messenger {Muhammad} has come to you with the truth from your Lord, so believe; it is better for you. But if you disbelieve - then indeed, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. And ever is Allah Knowing and Wise.

O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.

This should be enough evidence.

Even it is recommended that when we intend to recite Quran, when we pick it up we should kiss Quran before we begin recitation. If you wanna call it respect or seeking barakah(blessings), fine. But act of worship is different from respect. But bowing in act of worship to a wood or stone is worship. The general principle is kissing black stone is not act of worship.

The difference between this and statue of Mary is that you guys already crafted image of Mary and you believe it is her replica and some believe she is mother of God. This is the reason they worship her image. This is different from kissing black stone. Black stone is not animated object in God's form to be worshipped

Amr bin Abasah As-Sulami, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "During the times of ignorance … I heard of a man in Makkah who received revelation. So I set upon my riding beast and came to him. At that time he was in hiding, due to the oppression of his people. So I behaved in a way that enabled me to gain access to him in Makkah. I said to him: "Who are you?" He replied: "I am a Prophet.' So I said: "And what is a Prophet?' He said: 'Allah has sent me as a Messenger.' So I said: 'And what is it that He has sent you with?' He said: 'I have been sent to order the joining of ties of relationship, to break the idols, so that Allah is worshipped Alone and nothing at all is associated in worship along with Him." [Muslim]
