I am just afraid of load of concrete facial and precast. But I dont think the cost difference should be a whole lot though

Perils of a polygamous home. Personal experience with my dad. He died in hospital and those who knew first, came home and without telling anyone at home that he has gone, no remorse, no distraught went into his room got what they were looking for, took it to their house before coming back to tell other wives and children that he is gone.

If just for this kind of scenario, your friend should have his docs with him.
Wow. You see, this is not even polygamous issue. It is this man that makes it sounds or looks like that. All his children get along very well. However papa doesnt want that. He wants them to fight each other in order to maintain control over them. At some point it worked well for him but now they all are aware of his petty antics. Matter of fact, my friend's younger brother who is giving him infos and helping him with other stuff are not even same mother. Because of that, papa thought my friend doesn't talk to them that's why he reveals lots and lots of things to lil brother and he relays everything back to my friend. Silly world.

Now his contemporary just passed away yesterday. A very close friend of his about same age. We are waiting to see if he learns from that. God forbids, if he pass just now, the only threat is his last wife that lives with him. His brothers will conveniently get the docs and hand it over but his wife will not. Poly homes arent that bad if head of the household is upright.

Well, he called papa this morning to let him know lawyer is coming back to get the docs. He said "I did give him the docs but he returned it to me". That's lawyer's professional negligence right there. He shouldn't have done that. Now tomorrow is another showdown.

We told him to get a deputy along with him this week. If however we notice sign of cowardice, we will employe Donald Trump and Vince McMahon to fire him. We will get aggressive one. See, if my friend was in nija, i am sure he will recover his docs forcefully one time. He would have employed godogodo and papa would have been submissive sharp sharp

Hajji M.
Na so my bruv. We asked him this time "can you do it or not?". He said "I need to remind you again that your docs are saved. Your father worked hard on your docs".

Friend said that's understandable and that's why I credited 100k into his account few days before you went to him for job well done but my docs are saver with me. Now can you do it or not? " {papa didn't disclose100k egunje to nobody} grin grin

He said " certainly, your docs are saver with you and will get it done but I don't want you to get it with fight".

Friend said "leave that for later. ..we will fight now to set things straight and reconcile later".

Now his mom, sisters and brothers who against attny initially now support the move. His docs cant be save knowing that only pop and his last wife live together and she knows everything about him including the man's Will. So this week, we want to see another drama.

This is where western countries beat silly cultures in Africa.

As Salam alaykum warahmatullah wa barakat. So I received the message below in my email

> My name is Gretchen Peters. I’m a Grammy-nominated songwriter and singer, a proud Nashvillian, and most importantly a mom. My son is transgender. And the “bathroom bill” that Tennessee lawmakers are trying to pass will harm my family.
>
> You may have heard of these “bathroom bills” - efforts by lawmakers to exploit fear and ignorance about transgender people to bully and harass vulnerable transgender students across the country. North Carolina recently passed the country’s first one. They say that all people must use restrooms that correspond with their gender assigned at birth and not the gender with which they live and identify. Last month, South Dakota’s governor just vetoed one of these anti-transgender bills, thanks to the tireless work of community activists in the state and around the country.
>
> We can do this in Tennessee. If we raise our voices together, we can make sure Tennessee’s lawmakers do the right thing and kill this bill before the session ends this month.
>
> My son is the bravest person I know. At age 3, the child I had been raising as a girl declared himself a boy. In my ignorance, I didn’t understand. In an unfriendly world, he internalized the message that he was “born wrong.” Eventually both his certainty about his identity and the agony of suppressing it for over 20 years were so great that he mustered up the courage to do something I couldn't imagine myself doing - he came out as transgender.
>
> I have empathy for parents who are fearful about issues related to gender. But I have greater empathy for the kids themselves. They face something more terrifying than most of us will ever have to face - often all alone.
>
> Make sure the many courageous transgender children of Tennessee don’t stand alone in this fight. Sign the petition to say that transgender students deserve our love and respect - not punishment for being who they are.
>
> As a parent, I am horrified by the vitriol swirling around this bill in my state. The opposition is actively threatening parents like me who support transgender children, accusing us of not caring about children’s welfare. The hypocrisy here is staggering - these people are the ones trying to make a law that explicitly targets students for discrimination.
>
> When we institutionalize this kind of discrimination, we force transgender kids deeper into the closet and shut them off from the support they so desperately need. We impart to them the message that they are “born wrong” - and that is the very last thing that parents should want for our children.
>
> Raise your voice to tell Tennessee’s lawmakers that if they care about our children’s welfare, they must oppose this terrible anti-transgender legislation this week.
>
> Thank you for all that you do,
>
> Gretchen Peters
>
> Sign Gretchen’s petition

And I am/was itching to reply although I suspect it may not be read. For one, I don't know what is in the said bill. Secondly, I don't want a boy who strongly believes that he is a girl to share the restroom with my daughter or vice versa. The proponents of the bill may do better to not have a knee jerk reaction about this so that it does not go the way of the same sex marriage bill.

And before you say "kufr nation" ( that's not the point of this post), I think Nigeria is more kufr than we let on! With the number of mosques in Nigeria, it should be a shining light in the world.

I digress. The reason for the post is to remind us to be careful what we sign on change.org.

On another side note, how can someone be in Nigeria and wear hijab then relocate to the US and take it off, just like that? May Allah safeguard us. I am seeing way too many I begin to wonder if people are genuine in their outward acts of faith but Allah sees our hearts best.
This whole thing about transgender is really a matter of figh in Islam. Before, I used to think it is not true. I guess the more we live we see. It's really irrelevant to scream "kufr" without adequate knowledge and how to deal with the situation. It appears to be medical thing. And not every transgender may be able to afford to go through surgical procedures.

As for bold path, that's nothing but haq. My take on that is, it's a social and societal pressure. With time, some improved and retraced their right path they have abandoned upon entering western hemisphere. Some get drunk up into it forever. I won't blame them at first.

What's even funny is Americans (some), especially African Americans are trying to run away from their filthy deeds while arabs, muslims and Africans are running into it. It's crazy. And yes, America uphold certain elements of Sharia that is very missing in Nigeria with countless of religious houses of worship.

Let me give you example. In Nigeria, yoruba culture especially, your father can cheat you and rob you of your God-given rights but family would tell you "wofowonu". This is detrimental to society.

There is a clear line in sharia. Religion is one thing, culture in its own and respecting parents is another. Father may still have absolute control over a grown man in Nigeria in the name of "I'm your father". Take their grown child belongings and expect him to beg before giving up what don't belong to him. And father would quote you Qur'an that "you only disobey parents if they ask you to join partners with God". How about respecting your child's right?.

Is like they don't understand Qur'an in its right context. It's like a muslim quoting "La ikrafdin" to mean 'I am a muslim but I don't have to pray salat if I don't want to'.

This has caused lots of setbacks for many leading to frustration. So ofcourse when they have opportunity to see the other side, they run wild in the West. Both religions are guilty in Nigeria.

too bad!
If You Look At His Father Very Well You Notice He Got Some Old Feeble 6 Packs, Which Means He Must Be Mighty Igor {powerfully built} In His Wee Days.

I'm Just Curious To Know What His Son Did To Warrant Such Treatment. Something Is Wrong WithYoruba Culture Generally.

Father Could Kill His Son And Family And Elders Would Still Tell The Son "fowowonu". They Prefer Unnecessary Adoration Over Justice. This Wrecks Society.

PS: I think the Barister was professionally negligent in his duties. You hired him to collect the docs. He should have, even if you later decide to give it back to pops.
bold part, that's just it. Being yoruba man himself, he was relaxed by the man's petty prank.

I just don't want to update you guys yet. I want to see the next episode before I say something. In my last update, I said his little brother said "dad is played prank by cooking up stories to feel bad for him. And someone here said "struggles continue". Thats very true.

Pop said "I will make sure his plan fails". That was eavesdroped conversation without him knowing. That triggers new battles. Now lawyer will go there again this week and ask for it. If he proves stubborn police force will be involved. But my friend paid lawyer's professtonal fee even though he didn't get the doc the first time.

^ My point here is not about intermediaries. I am talking about respecting each other's shuyuk. For instance, most sufis respect Ibn Tayimiyah, Bin Baz, Sheik ibn uthaymeen etc when they're quoted even though they disagree with some of their views.

But when Sufi (for instance) also quote their shuyuk like Ahamad Tijani, Abdul Qadri Jilani, Sheik Adam al-ilory etc, our salafi brothers are quick to say "those are MUBTADI", deviants etc That's my point. You people speak like there is nothing good in any other views except yours. I dont buy that whatsoever.

And of-course, i know about ibn Taymiyah (ra). Sheik Abdul Qadri Jilani(ra) even came over 100yrs before him and they are both Hanbali madhhab.

Newnas:
You see my brother, you know how the Christians accuse us of worshipping the messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam because we are always mentioning him such that it's as if he is the only prophet ever sent.

Just the same way people accuse the people of sunnah for always mentioning Imam Ibn Taymiyyah.

You and I know that the messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam was given several virtues which other prophets did not have, so this our special love for him is not a result of partisanship rather it is a result of the special spiritual virtues that Allah gave him above other prophets.

Surah Al-Jumua, Verse 4:
ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ

That is the Grace of Allah, which He bestows on whom He wills. And Allah is the Owner of Mighty Grace.
(English - Mohsin Khan)

via iQuran

Similar to that - but in a lesser degree- is how we honour Shaykhul Islam and always mention him. Because -I swear to Allah the Lord of the worlds- Imam Ibn Taymiyyah has been blessed with virtues which you won't find with most scholars.

Just as we all agree that the most authentic book ever written by a human is Soheeh Bukharee, not by random selection but after serious intense scholastic scrutiny, the same way Ibn Taymiyyah has been shown to be exceptional. If you think it's false then present a scholar that you think is equal to him.

If you read any of his books, you will know what I am saying. One of his students said "I have never seen anyone like him and neither has he met anyone like him"

Tell the shia to mention one of their sheikhs that measures a tenth of Ibn Taymiyyah, in fact a hundredth in fact a thousandth of him.
Ibn Taymiyyah is a marvel, his memory and wisdom is beyond the class of most scholars.

Secondly, Allah has made for every field a specialist and scrutinizer, In the aspects of fiqh and aqeedah Ibn Taymiyyah is a muhaqqiq.

Just as we give preference to the Imams Bukharee, Muslim, Ahmad etc in hadith and the Imams Suyooti, Ibn Katheer and Ibn Jareer preference in tafseer and history, Ibn Taymiyyah is one of the references in Aqeedah and fiqh.
I don't have problems with all his qualities you mentioned. Even funny is you said it's your (those who revere him) love for him that make you mention his names. Isn't what sufis do as well. ..honoring their shuyuk like Hamad Tijani, Abdul Qadri jilani etc and then you accuse them of eleaving their waliy?. Sheik islam ibn Tayimiyah was waliy in his own way. Others praised by sufis are auliya of Allah in their own way. Why accusing each other?

Look at the second picture you will see the decking slab like it's two and very thick, that is the beam and decking slab showing together.

Help Needed Here Guys. mufutau55 and you too.

Is it possible to strengthen or fortify existing decking and how?

I see ongoing duplex project. Decking and upper floor are done but owner wants to add additional 2 couches on the upper. When bricklayers were about starting to do that, they notice the decking isn't strong enough to hold heavy load.

It seems there might be bad job with that. In any case, is there a way to strengthening the decking to hold more stuff?

Demmzy15, trust me brother, I don't have time or expanding my resource for Ibn Taymiyyah. Much have been said and written already about him by Ahlu Sunnah ulama, esp those of his zaman. I can only urge you to read your books written by your Shuyukh about him. Ibn Taymiyyah remain a full blown heretic, at least in my world.
I believe you can also (at least) agree that he was a great scholar, isnt?

I dont have problem with the Sheik at all. What i have problem with is those who revere him so much and hold on to his view and yet, condemn other muslims when they hold the views of their scholars. Sheik ul Islam Ibn Taymiyah (ra) was not aslaf. He came way after them. I definitely respect his life and struggles.
