You know it's like when trinitarian christians interpret ".....I'm ascending to my God and to your God" in the light of triune gods.

The same verse can be read in the light of unitarian (One God). If the hadith is understood as you said, that his image refers to Adam, that makes sense. Then English translation needs revision. I will like to read scholarly opinion on this. However, it makes sense for a muslim to disagree with the hadith has its literally written. This has nothing to do with aqeeda, sects, path etc. It's rather tafsir issue.

There is a similar verse in sura Hajj (22:78)

"......it's He who named you muslims"

There are muslims who think 'he' mentioned in the verse refers to Ibrahim(as) because some translations do not have parenthesis. I never understood it that way even without usool, tafsir. I have always thought it refers to Allah bcus Adam (as) came before Ibrahim (as) and Adam was a muslim. That's how I derived my meaning.

I dont understand people at all. I follow this case very well. The matter is heading to close in favor of my friend. Guess what happened lately, everyone i:e my friend's siblings(older ones) and his mom and step mom now pressuring my fiend to give up the place for papa. Telling him to buy elsewhere. They said "we know papa is wrong what he did but we dont want issue that will break up family over worldly matter". Another brother, the eldest who had dealt with papa on this issue when he bought land from papa but papa took the land from him and resold it to him like 3 times and still he doesnt have the land. Which means papa has record of cheating his loins. But my friend never had that experience with papa. So now eldest brother is telling him to let go the place, that he should never have had anything to do with papa. He said ask him to sell the land and house and you share the money and build yours elsewhere.

This statement coming out from his brother sound very ridiculous. His eldest brothers put him on "conference call". So my friend bullsh!t all of them. He cursed them out saying "nobody wants to talk to papa to calm down and give back docs etc but everyone put pressure on me. So basically, he feels like he had to lose the place he worked for. And he said to his brothers to f!ck off that he would do it the legal way, he doesnt care about family or biological father knowing fully well his father could definitely sell the place base on what he experienced with his brothers. Yes, papa sold their lands and resold it to them like 3x. But none of them had developed theirs. But my friend already developed his and spent millions on it. And asking him to give it up easily like that?. He said Never.

So he connected with Attny 2days ago and ones attny noticed it is his biological father involved, he said let's take it through peaceful way first. If he gives it up... no case. If not then we use power of attny and police. So basically this is what siblings and mom said too (to talk to him but papa never made himself friendly with no one) but none of them talked to papa to peacefully give up. Instead papa is telling my friend that he would deny taking money from him to build anything. Now what do you expect him to do or say when papa said something like that?. Attny even asked if any member of the family talked to papa?.

So now my friend peacefully called papa and to his surprise, papa talked nice that "i dont need your land. It is yours but becus everyone accused me and ganged up on me that's why i threatened to sell it. I dont need your lands. When you ready, ask someone to come for it". So my friend cautiously said Attny will come for it just to be on the safe side in case he changes his mind to be stubborn again.

So now, his brothers thought he would never use attny bcus no one has ever done that to papa. As a result, they got furious why he would do that?. "We told u to calm down and resolve it peacefully but you didnt listen to us. Now it took outsider to tell you same thing which means you disrespect us". Now everyone gangs up on my friend for "disobeying and disrespecting them".

In addition, my friend sent 100k to papa's account to keep him shut and give up the possesion. I am sure papa will not say that to all his "enemies"

What i dont understand is why would they now blame him when, in fact, his eldest brothers had similar problems with papa and still have it. But the reason their is not much of a threat was bcus it was just land. They have not spent a dime on it. They act like they dont understand my friend's frustration struggling abroad and someone threatening to sell his life investment. How else should he react to such threat?. Right now, attny will collect the docs, send it to my friend and case close. Then he should just give it time for everything to calm before continuing the project. What a world.

In a nutshell, his brothers and mom tried to interject religion and culture to subdue my friend which my friend said "i dont give a f!ck about it. This makes them angry and they consider it insult. They dont want to understand the frustration. Yes, he may have gone overboard with language he used talking to them but all these years he was calmed when everyone said papa mismanaged his funds. He defended papa that there is no evidence for the allegation levied against papa. He was never upset. Why now that he busted and everyone turned against him. Really crazy. What kind of making me uncomfortable is despite knowing baba is guilty folks(brothers, sister, mom) keep telling my friend to be patient and stop building project while surveyor, attny are telling him to fence the place. But none of the family talk to dad cus he doesnt make himself friendly. They put pressure on my friend not to escalate to court.

If they want him to be patient they simply need to talk to dad too to give up docs whether he wants to listen or not. It's crazy, isn't? . Since there will never be any book in the world free from errors except Qur'an, it is only makes sense to say those ahadith were tampered with or "mis-narrated" or misquoted.

However we have some muslims who believe that whatever is narrated in sahih Bukhari and Muslim is authentic. Their "evidence" is, if those ahadith could survive centuries of great scholars of islam and were not critisized, who the heck is us in 21st century to say they are fabricated ahadith. That's their weak evidence.

Remember Friend Of Mine I Was Talking About?. He Decided To Go Ahead And Complete Abandoned Upper Floor. He Did Not Want To Wait Until He Goes To Nija. So Builders Are Working On It Last Month Without His Dad's Consent. Some People Found Out And Let His Dad Knows Strangers Are Working On The Project. He went Straight To The Police Station To Report It. He Sent His Younger Wife To Go To My Friend's Mom To Confirm If My Friend Ordered Ongoing Project.

My Friend Was Upset For Having His Step Mom To Question His Mom Over His Project. Someone Called Him To Call His Dad To Stop The Police. So He Did And Let Him Know He's Aware Of Those Working On His Site. His Dad Was Upset And Screamed To The Whole World. Something He Supposed To Keep Secret From Day One. He Never Kept It Secret. He Had Strangers Taking Care Of The House While My Friend's Blood Brothers And Sisters Are Around. He Gave Legal Documents Of The House To Strangers. All These My Friend Found Out.

Prophet Muhammad's Last Sermon Date delivered: 632 A.C., 9th day of Dhul al Hijjah, 10 A.H. in the 'Uranah valley of Mount Arafat.



After praising, and thanking God, he said: "O People, listen well to my words, for I do not know whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and TAKE THESE WORDS TO THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT HERE TODAY.


O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Treat others justly so that no one would be unjust to you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. God has forbidden you to take usury (riba), therefore all riba obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital , however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer inequity. God has judged that there shall be no riba and that all the riba due to `Abbas ibn `Abd al Muttalib shall henceforth be waived.



Every right arising out of homicide in pre-Islamic days is henceforth waived and the first such right that I waive is that arising from the murder of Rabi`ah ibn al Harith ibn `Abd al Muttalib.

O Men, the Unbelievers indulge in tampering with the calendar in order to make permissible that which God forbade, and to forbid that which God has made permissible. With God the months are twelve in number. Four of them are sacred, three of these are successive and one occurs singly between the months of Jumada and Sha`ban. Beware of the devil, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.



O People, it is true that you have certain rights over your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under God's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Treat your women well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and committed helpers. It is your right and they do not make friends with anyone of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste...



O People, listen to me in earnest, worship God (The One Creator of the Universe), perform your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your financial obligation (zakah) of your wealth. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.



Remember, one day you will appear before God (The Creator) and you will answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.


O People, NO PROPHET OR MESSENGER WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I am leaving you with the Book of God (the QUR'AN*) and my SUNNAH (the life style and the behavioral mode of the Prophet), if you follow them you will never go astray.



All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness O God, that I have conveyed your message to your people.



*The Qur'an: Revealed to Prophet Muhammad during the period from 610-632 AC. The first five verses revealed are: (1) Read in the name of your Lord, Who created. (2) Created man out of a clot that clings (in the womb). (3) Read and your Lord is the Most Bountiful. (4) Who taught by the pen. (5) Taught man that which he knew not.

I chanced upon the discussion of the above narration posted on Shiachat, and lo and behold, there are even damning narrations from the books of the Shi’a, not that it is surprising though, but to think that someone who lacks in his own books of hadiths would come here to make fun of a narration that is not even attributed to the Prophet (SAW) and of an incident that happened in Jahiliyah, shows you guys are plain ridiculous. I wonder what you were trying to prove...

Well, I would just post responses that suffice, and if you are a person of intellect, the narration shouldn’t be an issue in the first place…
