usermane: Maharaba is just another form of riba if you dig deep. Infact, it could even be more exploitative than riba. I haven't seen any evidence for it in the Quran, maybe sb can help me. I don't mind getting evidence from hadith. If you read btw lines, I said clearly that it's abused. The so called Islamic banking now really not riba-free. It's a form of back door riba which is even worse than front door (conventional). @bold, give reference from Quran to proof this. Israelite are first(perhaps) to practice usury which Isa(as) condemned them for. Riba is not ambiguous subject at all. And why shouldn't orthodox take credit for riba-free transaction since Islam is the only religion now standing tall against it?. Abeg go siddon. And when i brought up Murabaha on this thread was only in reference to Urban pig-headed demands. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ps-27-S2BPo |
@Usermane, Your question #3: "Why did Abubakr & Umar burn hadith writtings and they as well as the Prophet forbade spreading hadith?" Answer: The Full Hadith, what Sa’id Khudri narrated is below: Abu Sa’id Khudri reported that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Do not take down anything from me, and he who took down anything from me except the Qur’an, he should efface that AND narrate from me, for there is no harm in it and he who attributed any falsehood to me−and Hammam said: I think he also said:” deliberately” −he should in fact find his abode in the Hell−Fire. (Sahih Muslim Book 42, Number 7147) At the start of the Hadith as you have read above, he forbade the writing, but after that if you read further on Muhammed (pbuh) says: “and narrate from me, for there is no harm in it,” As you can see, narrating a Hadith from the prophet (pbuh) was not a problem but writing it down was an issue at the start. Muhammad Hashim Kamali says the following: It is generally known that the prophet (pbuh) discouraged documentation of his own sayings and the sunna at the early stages of his mission in order to preserve the purity of the Quran and prevent any possibility of confusion between Quran and his sunna. During the latter part of his mission, that is, at the time when much of the Quranic text had already been documented, the prophet responded positively to the request of some of his companions to write his sayings. By the time when most of the of Quran was received, memorised and documented, the prophet permitted documentation of his Sunna and addressed the companions to “preserve knowledge through writing” (Source: Muhammad Kamali, A text book of Hadith studies page 22) |
Ok let's try this definition. Dream Marriage represents a providence of Allah and care for His servants, depression, carrying liability, or endavouring to achive a high ranking position. If one marries a woman in is dream, it means that he will endavour to satisfy the normal responsibilities of a husband. If he marries unknown woman, and if he could not see her in his dream, it denotes the nearing of his death. Oops! or it could mean that one will move from his old house to new house ![]() Further explanation, Dream marriage could mean prosperity, high position, marrying and penetration a woman: dignity and attainment of something the dreamer is striving for.Marrying in a dream when the man already has one or more wives could mean elevation in life and benefit as much as the woman he had seen or identified was beautiful. |
mufutau55: Yes. You need it in all the outside entrances for SECURITY. We are talking about Nigeria here!Ah ah ah ah. 9ja, that country na something else. I wasnt use to that. That means it would be easy for potential thieves to saw off wood doors. But it should be perfectly fitted and creamed or oiled. I hate the noise they make when i watch nollywood. Apparently metal. |
why do people use metal doors these day?. I dont think it was like that before. Recent Nigerian movies i have been watching for close to 10yrs now, the houses use metal doors the way they sound. But it seems only for the main entrance though. Is it for added security or what? |
tbaba1234: Conjecture..i know..just joking |
In those days they are called "dimogogiyah or dimogiyah". The king was tyrant, skinny and short. He was married to a young girl who knew little or nothing about the tradition. She would sit next to king in his palace while chiefs, slaves and citizens pay homage to the throne. She (olori), the Queen doesn't understand while so many people, including elderly and disabled would bow to "just a man" they can easilly crushed or break in half. She doesn't understand " power" or the meaning of it. It's night time. Time to relax and spend " honeymoon" together. She removed king's cloth, pant etc. She felt how really skinny her husband is. She said is this the king that the whole world revered this much, this skinny thing?. Yes, she made her feelings known to her husband the king. She picked up his hands saying " this is what everyone greets Kabiyesi oooooo?". She said this in a very ridiculous manner but out of ignorant. King said do you really want to know the meaning of king?, the power behind it?, how majestic I am?. Olori said of course I really want to know. He said no problem. When my oloye, emewa, and citizens come tomorrow I will show you. She ( the Queen) was really excited. She can't wait to see how majestic her husband is. The following day, king summoned the entire community to his palace. At least most showed up. Olori is inside the palace while Oba addresses community. Oba called out two of his "Akoda" to bring his father-in-law's head. His Oloye were stunned and asked him why he would that... that the man has been very nice to him?. king yelled back at them " no one questions the king". So his two servants went and brought back king's father in- law's bloody head decorated in calabash and covered. Upon arrival at the palace, king called out his wife that he got her a big surprise package, to display his power she craved for overnight. She can't wait. She rushed out and great the king saying "kabiyesi ooooooo". Thank you my olori, said the king. Then he said open the calabash. She quickly opened it and screamed "my father"!. The king said that's the meaning of power. Remember you asked me last night what does power means?. How a little man can be so much respected by young and old?. This is the power. I am the only one who can do this. Imam who Narrated the story relates this with current world events. How leaders misuse power to punish oppressed and weak.He said only Allah can subdue them. That if they die in tyranny can only mean one thing. Reserved punishment afterlife (for tyrants) |
Rilwayne001: My signature is now effective@ signature, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORD |
hotmas911:Am guessing a customer made large purchase to have you smiling like this.... |
TheBigUrban2: It is the sign of an honest and intelligent man......respects when he has reached his limitsAgree |
TheBigUrban2: What? Am an atheist.Didnt you call yourself by that before |
TheBigUrban2:Story story. You bow Thats what matters ![]() |
TheBigUrban2: @ bold, I lived in london- if you are going to lie for islam, make it an undetectable one.Taqiyah? I guess the word now means something else to you . You are not Atheist rather a confused religionist |
TheBigUrban2: If you were intelligent, you wold have switched to Barclays who have a sharia compliant account package for muslim customers.Yes, took a loan there 3 yrs ago. Not Barclay though |
TheBigUrban2: #Schooled by Tbaba. Now you begining to backslide but before this you are arrogantly would be Islamic "scholar" while pretending to be Atheist. Agreeing with him or not is not important. What's important is you bowed . Anyway, i dropped a note here for you on "Islamic economy" you whining over. https://www.nairaland.com/1829650/how-muslims-partly-responsible-palestine#25892575 |
@Urban, you are just being unfair to yourself and being deceptive. Let me help you out here a little since you refused to read my links in other thread nor did you watch the videos. Yet you whining around like a little chicken behind its mother. Here is the thing. What you termed Islamic economy that you claim doesnt exist is coded in Arabic term Murabaha or simply Murabah. Do you actually think muslims here have time to write a book over this just to satisfy you?. Well, Murabaha is a section Islam and economics which deals with banking and finacing, investment, capital gain and loss etc. Now that you have code name, do your research. Dont expect me to type and talk here. The videos I gave you talked about Murabaha. Murabaha is Shariah compliant which UK adopted or partly aopted to safe their freaking economy. I am not economists but i am very well aware of this going. Murabaha is free of interest (usury a k a riba). Though it's abused at some point in the UK. On FOXNews some years back in the early economy crisis, they talked about adopting Shariah compliant. Though FOX anti-islam rhetoric simply downplayed glorifying Shariah economy but the host did say he would personally adopt it to safe his investment at Wall Street back then. As for you Usermane, the way you are clueless about economics, is the same way about islam altogether. Reading your tune here suggests that you do not even recognize riba being forbidden. Quran has zero tolerant for it. It's that simple. Hadith talks about it at length. It's a form of modern slavery which now adopted universally. It makes rich permanently rich and poor permanently poor. It doesnt matter if it's 1% interest rate or 100%. The former would enslave you slowly. Thats all. TheBigUrban2, you are just being sadistic here. Not all Arab or Gulf investment in the west involve usury. I really cant get into this since i dont know them personally. It's unfair to assume because they deposit in foreign banks mean interest deposit. I have been banking with PNC for 10yrs and HSBC for 8yrs. Never for once my transactions involved riba. You have options before opening account with these companies which determines interest based investment or deposit. I was persoanlly asked by HSBC 5 yrs ago that my account qualified for interest accumulation which I promply rejected. Of-course one should monitor his or her accoount to be sure of compliant. Accoridng to HSBC rep that time, monhtly interest would yield 500$. Now someone with no conscience would have definitely accepted this offer and by now 500 by 12 by 5 would have yielded lump sum. But sorry, I am not interested. Please Urban go and study Islamic banking and finance. This is also part of economy growth, "Islamic Economy" |
Walaikum salam, I guess it's a way of saying "dream job". I got you. You are in love with someone ![]() |
TheBigUrban2: It is considered a forgery by SOME scholars, not all.so when did you become doctor of hadith? i thought you are Atheist, isn't ? |
tbaba1234: A summary:Jazakallahu khayran |
i honestly dislike involving in marital issues. The woman may be lying just because she's not getting what she wants. Or she may be speaking the truth. Wallahu t'ala alam. O ni ka luku a bi tie lara |

For record, if you dont mind, can you post hadith in Bukhari you claimed contradicts others?. I beg to differ. You probably looking at something else. If Bukhari, Muslim and other narrators differ on Salat, that would have been obvious today. But no, all Muslims pray the same in obligatory salat. Anyways, nice talking to you on this. And please dont get me wrong. You doing very good when it comes to searching and quoting Quran. But this is like threading religion. Doesn't necessarily mean knowing it. This may cajole novice. Let me give you word of advice upon ayah of Qur'an. "And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers - We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination". This ayah is actually talking about rebellious Muslims or pseudo Muslims as far as I know. This ayah includes many things you said that really out of line including shariah and all that. May God guide us and you. Amin |
usermane: On Salat-hadith,At this point, I think it's safe to give up discussing this or any similar issues at length. I honestly see no point. I went through your NL archives and notice that "many" muslims have actually talked to you on several issues. And this is August 2014, you are where you are or worst still (I dont mean you worst but on critical issue that other advised you on). https://www.nairaland.com/1501204/how-true-narrations-sahih-bukhari . I see different faces (non-frequent muslim NLers that I am not familiar with) said the same thing i have said to you. No wonder everyone seems to leave us alone to sort it out. So my point is if you couldn't listen then you wont listen now. So i see no point debating over peanut. As you can see, regardless of sects muslims on NL claim, we all still gang up on you because you go against common creed. We are not asking you follow everything in Hadith nor do I. You seemed to be saying "salam" and using arabic connotations before. You even claimed to be muslim last year. Now you said you are not a 'muslim' in order to differ from Muslims. Thats a waste of time. Surah Hajj 78 clarifies that. It seems the more Muslims talk to you, the more left-wing extremist you can be. I gleaned this from the thread. Remember it?

haemi: The prophet SAW has said that the most best of mahrs is the simplest; in our societies today, nevertheless, we find brides or their families asking for exorbitant mahr from the would be husbands. Sometimes, this makes some Muslim men scared of marriage in many places.Greed Greed Greed!!! that's what it is. This is why muslim youth(boys or grooms to be) are wandering. That's unnecessary burden right there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJQxliwKyG4 |
usermane: IMO, when you say Islamic economics, it is supposed to be a broad term that discusses import, export, exchange, tax, loans, security, stock, shares etc. And so far no one has provided verses or oral traditions that treat these issues specifically.Actually the whole thing just turned to be "Islamic economics". His initial question i believe was "Islamic Economy Policy". Emphasis is on bold. Islam definitely has that (both written and oral). No religious text you will find discussing specifics: import, export, exchange, tax, loans, security, stock, shares . The religious policy is a guide on this. Perhaps, Mr. Urban can truly learn by researching sirat of Prophet Muhammad(s) on trade. Trade may be similar to or a form of micro-economy in those days and perhaps in our time. It's up to us today to embroidering the scope of ayat of Quran on this. It's very silly to be asking for a single "ayah" of Qur'an over this. @Usermane, Urban is playing fool and you fall for it. Qur'an is meant for men of understanding 10:24 not deaf, dump and blind (8:22). And correct me if i am wrong. Trade conducted in the time of the Prophet(saw) either btw him and others or community at large is no different from macro economic we have today. World population was not 6 billion then. Besides, I gave him videos many of which talked about Islamic economy polices but he turned the other way and looking for solitary ayah. Well, I certainly have no issue with Urban. He's a living truth of Islam's irresistible. He keeps coming to muslim section (for whatever his intention), may Allah guide him. Amin |
I admire this rear. When it's completed, it's going to be magnificent; considering the semi-ring-shaped part. Great job! |
manny4life: How much was he paid?HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

usermane: Really? I still have to go over how i perform my salat after posting it earlier and having you all class it as ignorance?I have to get really busy in a few. I will inshallah return to this as soon as possible. Before then, I dont think I saw your post on how you perform salat. Can you post the link?. Can you write hadith contradiction in Bukhari you meantioned including numbers?. As for sequence of Salat, is story of Adam(as) told in one chapter or spreads out of the Quran?. I will be back here later. |
tbaba1234: I am just blown away by an ayah, I just studied... SubhanAllah,Can we share the treasure please? |
usermane: Commendable Empiree, but you didn't meet my demand. You simply listed out the acts that you 've been performing in salat sequentially then attached a hadith to each act. I mean modify your post, eliminate every word leaving behind only the Ahadith. You 'll just have acts in salat, the sequence of performing these acts will be missing and a novice will be left clueless; On how to start, when to conclude, what is even a raka', can he go down for prostration straight from standing before before bowing? The truth is, unless you have prior experience of salat, you can't just gather these scattered narrations on salat acts from several hadith books and hope to connect these act, performing the acts sequencially as muslims do today. Now, I understand why you dont understand Quran. But for the sake of this forum, may I ask you how you pray obligatory salat?. Then I will move on from there. It looks like you read something upside down somewhere. Yes, some are pasted......that's towards the end. And what I typed out are from the books i have here with me. Majority of those are in ablution section and up to half prayer part. |
TheBigUrban2:Now I see why some folks ignore you sometimes. There are those who enbrace Islam purely by doing lots of research before being convinced and becoming muslims. Onus is on you to research. Period As for Islam, Nigeria and African history mentioned above, if you can not understand I was talking about a thread you opened (which is now closed), then how are you going to understand Islam and economics. I didnt want to post twice that's why i made it 2 in 1. Haba, is that difficult to understand? |
TheBigUrban2: Dont point me to books you havent read and do not understand. Then I cant help you. I sent some links earlier you complained. At least I read the first two links. And the 3rd one which included videos, I have been watching them for yrs. The link included (Modern economy and Islam, Islam and monetary system, Islam, modern economy and usury and so fourth, Islamic economic system). Another video in the link titled "Basirat" on Banking and finance and riba-economy. You replied within very short period that you went through everything and you want me to take you seriously?. And these links you complain as well. If you are not satisfied, then it takes a man like you to work hard to earn scholarship title. We are in modern world where information are easily accessible. It's called research. You are the one seeking knowledge on this so be our guest my friend. You problem is you think that a muslim perhaps with beards have no clue on technology, economics etc. You just wrong. I also read your now closed thread something like what Islam brought to Nigeria?. Albaqir really dealt with you bad. He shut you up. You are only being driven by hate and ignorant. You can do better by research instead criticizing everything Islamic. I recommend you learn history of Islam in Nigeria (and Africa) by Sheik Abdullah Akeem Quick. He's vast in African and Aboriginal history. |
