sino: But erm, usermane do you need some new friends? grin grin grin
Yes, he has friends. Just look at people that admire his writings, they are not even average non-muslims. Rather wicked ones. Those ones that mock islam even if you present all evidences to them. Those are his NL close friends. Clearly, if he lives in a mega-city, he would prefer living on "Gay street" and having f/a/g/s as close friends instead of muslims. I know he will be here to scream at me soon. He's a funny dude.

AlBaqir: sahih, Hasan, Daeef, Mawdoo; if that's what you mean. As per determination, two things are usually study:
1. Sanad of the hadith
2. Mat'n of the hadith (content or text).
The puzzle here is:
1. "Book of God and Sunnah"
2. "Book of God and ahl al-bayt"

2 is Mutawattir and 1 is never. 2 is found in the sahih sittah (sunni six most authentic collection except bukhari) while 1 NEVER existed there. The sanad and mat'n of 1 is debatable while the 2 is down-played as per the meaning.
Categorization is pretty much same thing.

@ bold, I really dont want to stress on it. I think it's just a version. For instance, Sunni tradition says
'The Book of Allah(Quran) and Sunnah': They say since Ahl-Bayt follow Sunnah....that there is no need to pinpoint Ahl-Bayt. Wallahuallam.
All i can say is I think people would assume Islam is family affairs(Ahl-Bayt). I am sure you know that Sunni do not reject Ahl-Bayt. This is overemphasized in Sunni tradition (as in, sending blessings on Prophet and his household). And even on Muhajirun and Ansar This I am familiar with. Still reading. More to come.....

cloudstar: Omo, it's your prerogative to talk or not. I asked for insight on the group and why they do what they do. Others Muslims have given their opinion, no one has supported it from the Quran or on any authoritative Hadiths. The subject doesn't need deep insight - ISIS clearly tells us why they are doing what they are doing - you are the one trying to play smart.
Again, I will not succumb to your pressure. I know exactly what I am talking about. But let me make something abundantly clear. The group is terrorist. There are in fact individual muslims who in their hearts sincerely believe they on the right cause. That's their problem.
However, from the way you talk, I feel sorry for Christians. It's not your fault. There is nothing left in Christianity except protestant version. I dont even see any Nigerian pastors speak of eschatology at all. So instead of bothering me, why not take a quick flight to iraq and find out yourself?.
If you speak Yoruba, there is a video on YouTube titled Dajjal. It's written in CAPS. It's written like like "DAJ JAL" this is to differentiate it from other countless of similar videos. Speaker is Yoruba. Watch it see if you can learn one or two things. I have the video but i wont post it here. Thats just the beginning. Looks like you speak Yoruba cus you keep saying "Omo"whatever that means. I'd thought you advertize for OMO soap.

Unbias: After 8 yrs of studying islamic eschatology, u couldn't still answer the simple question, instead u said he should go n study eschatology. This implies he has to study for 8yrs + to get the answer. I don't just get this!
Not at all. He wants to get me to talk but I wont. He doesnt need to spend 8yrs to get the picture of this world order. As matter of fact, he needs less than a month of study to get a clue. But i will not answer his question.
You guys want to get me to talk. I basically want to ignore him for now. Maybe i will contribute later. There are lots of ahadith (plural of hadith) now in effect coupled with current world events but many of them need to be interpreted though. Someone are as plain as daylight.
Quran however, talks about those things but in "pregnant form". So we look into hadith for clarification. Let me just help you a little. The whole thing has to be with Holy Land, Jerusalem.
I dont understand what exactly you guys learn in your various churches. Looks like you are behind on eschatology. This subject need deep insight.

usermane: Peace, i never declared any muslim here a kufar, ie make takfir. Infact, there is no such term in my understanding of Islam. Rather, takfir is a common practice among you, orthodox muslims.

You called me a khawarij, anyone can read it from your post, i don't have time to bicker over it. Besides, a khawarij is an arabic term for those who withdraw from mainstream interpretation of the religion and according to your tradition cited by tbaba1234, such persons are to be killed.

I didn't bother addressing your response to the 5 Ahadith i posted because i don't have time for endless arguements. Your responses were neither honest nor factual. Any objective reader can see the evil in those traditions, no one will talk " No! There is System of Interpretation, context" when the Ahadith clearly prohibit visiting an ill drunkard even if he is dying for help and declare the blood of non-muslims as unsacred and permissible to be shed.

Of course, there are ahadith as you cited that enjoin helping the sick and protecting even non-muslims, but you can't reconcile those ahadith to these ones. If you choose the hadith that recommend kindness for every sick, you have to disregard this hadith that forbid visiting the sick drunkard and vise versa. There is no middle ground. This is contradiction, a feature that can't be found in God 's message.
Honeslty, i dont know what to tell you further. You may deny making takfir but in order contain this back n fourth argument, I'd better say no more.

Again, your understanding system of meaning is not strong of enough. Cant you see how tbaba break it down?. Besides, another way to look at it is Quran speaks of 3 categories of unbelievers. Sometimes, Quran generalizes, sometimes, it breaks it down. But if you want to hold on to certain passage(s) of hadith and persecute muslims over that, I am really sorry. It doesnt work like that.

Yes, there are categories of Ahadith which you probably dont understand. I was going to answer that but you told me to keep to myself. You asked how do we determine if hadith is true or false?. I wont answer you here. I will post it in my thread "Quranite" (Hadith rejecter) later.

@AlBaqir, you dont mind if i discuss further on the project right?. I dislike exchanging email back n fourth. Almost done with the project.

Question: I am familiar with how Sunni determine or categorize AHadith but not too familiar with Shia version. But I think Hadith At-Thaqalayn seems the famous like Sahih in Sunni version. So how do you categorize Ahadith?

Secularism has nohthing to do with man's purpose! Secularism has nothing to do with materialism

Secularism (in the political sense) is a separation of religion and state. Modern secularism focuses on the neutrality of govt policy- away from religious bias. Furthermore, modern secularism does not judge any religion- the govt abstains from establishing or persecuting religion.

Usermane, all i want from you is only that you come to Islam. Stop being lonely on nairaland and embrace your brothers. I meant no resentment toward you. I consider you one of our brothers. You just need to suppress your extreme prejudice on Muslims. You can do better by being amenable. We can be objective sometimes without animosity to one another. And you can see, your only NL "friends" are wicked unbelievers. Hope you listen

My responses in blue
usermane: Wait, you just called me a khawarij who according to your traditions is an heretic that should be killed? Not again.
@bold, your name was not mentioned in my reply. This is guilty conscience. Remember I have been telling you about "System of Meaning" which you probably dont understand. You love quoting solitary ayah of Quran and Hadith to derive a meaning and living other parts out which you have been doing. Then again, in your response to Sino, you did the same thing. Then I responded, Sino and Tbaba also did. So far you havent agree nor disagree with their handsome explanations. I was going to ask if you agree with them?. You see how they break it down and piece the whole thing together to form harmonious whole and then derive the true meaning of what you quoted out of context. This is called system of meaning which tbaba and sino successfully did. Reason you failed to understand Salat as well.
Since you assumed that i called you khawarij, let me tell you why. If you go to previous pages, tbaba posted a piece on khawarij, their traits. Khawarij love making takfir on muslims. You did just that. In your previous posts, you called "SuShi" (i:e Sunni and Shia) polytheists. You said the way we pray resemble Zoroastrians....that God did not teach the prophet(saw) sequence of salat contrary to what muslims do today. That's your opinion. Anyways, you made takfir on all muslims which resemble trait of khawarij. You also wanted to stare controversies btw "SuShi". This is fitna. I notice this in your written. But it's safe to say you are a passive khawarij.

Jack, you are taking this way too extreme. Can't you just present your proof without digressing into personal attacks?
Actually, I used to have a friend from Taiwan, friends call him Jack. I called him Jerry. I would imagine his friends shortened his name from Jackson or Jackiechan to Jack. So I am not taking "Jack" personal. Abundant proofs are presented to you already. You just dont get it. As for personal attack?, I addressed that above. So who talks too way extreme now?.

NL1960: Quite true. I called a furniture person to come and give me a quote for wardrobes for my village house project and the guy came and quoted N220k per wardrobe giving a cost of N880k for 4 wardrobes. When i asked him why so expensive, he said that the wardrobe will be MDF and have shoe rack, tie rack and all sorts of racks. I just told him that i had only 2 pairs of shoes (one pair of sandals and one pair of shoes) and so what do i need a shoe rack for?. Na so i almost take cutlass pursue am comot. grin

Easy, usermane. Below is original post...no mentioned of usermane. And since you chose to identify and relate with my post can only mean one thing. GUILTY
Empiree: Book 026, Number 5380:

Anas b. Malik reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: When the People of the Book offer you salutations, you should say: The same to you.

Book 026, Number 5381:

Anas reported that the Companions of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said to him: The People. of the Book offer us salutations (by saying as-Salamu- 'Alaikum). How should we reciprocate them? Thereupon he said: Say: Wa 'Alaikum (and upon you too).

Book 026, Number 5374:

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The rider should first greet the pedestrian, and the pedestrian the one who is seated and a small group should greet a larger group (with as-Salam-u-'Alaikum).

Book 026, Number 5384:

'A'isha reported that a group of Jews came to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and sought his audience and said: As-Sam-u-'Alaikum. A'isha said in response: As-Sim-u-'Alaikum (death be upon you) and curse also, whereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: 'A'isha, verily Allah loes kindness in every matter. She said: Did you bear what they said? Thereupon he said: Did you not hear that I said (to them): Wa 'Alaikum.

May God help us from someone claiming to know Quran alone. Laziness to do what is right. Whether the hadith he quoted above is authentic, good, weak or bogus, what's important is almost all Ahadith as well as verses of Qur'an are historically connected. Ulama of the past worked hard on what I termed System of Meaning which I have been ringing in his ears over and again. May Allah deliver him from ignorance.

A respected Muslim man once said that Prophet's(saw) scribes would write anything they hear him said in context or outside of it. They would just write (like secretary writes everything he/she hears). Whether it makes sense or not. Unfortunately many of this uncomfortable moments can no longer be ignored nor taken off. Islam is sincere. Muslims are sincere the best way they can. But for a lone wolf on NL to quote a verse of Quran or hadith to justify his desire is foolishness. The same thing isis are doing, quoting certain verses to justify their evil intention.

So this lone wolf Quranite on NL is a guilty extremist as much as those "jihacrazies", the vagabonds. He's a semi-brand of khawarij as well. What he thinks is irrelevant. Rather, muslims act upon what is directed in Shari'ah.
Islam › Re: Hoaxes And Fabrications On Islam And Muslims by Empiree: 8:30pm On Sep 08, 2014
@ vedaxcool, allow me to say this, people that usually make up bogus profiles like this and saying stupid stuff online are l/a$/w e/n/@fo/rc/e/m@e/nt, their agent provocateur or informant. They want to entrap muslims anytime you see something like this:
^^^They make up bogus profile(Islamic look-like to attract muslims, youths especially)
^^^Make inflammatory statement( with Islamic connotation) that threatens us
^^^Lie in wait for "angry muslim" to respond in affirmative
^^^Target(muslim) identified
^^^He's placed on watchlist (they watch his pc to track his activities)
^^^They start engaging "suspect" (they talk him into illegal activities...if he falls for it, next step)
^^^They physically contact him, give him inept military gears
^^^Choose high profile location.
^^^Drive him to location
^^^Arrest made
^^^30yrs in prison
BREAKING NEWS....A Muslim man wants to bla bla bla...It's a form of islamophobia which they've been using and it works because they always get dummy muslims to go with their bogus plan. Then the freaking world believe them. Madness isn't?. But their plan usually doesnt work without them offering suspect "incentive" (deceptively). "Incentive" is not mentioned in court paper because it jeopardizes conviction.
