Some people from other parts of the country might not like her but her people does. So, why the lamentation by some peeps here?

No election was done. I heard Uche Ekwwunife was declared winner for central when it was quite clear that Election (primaries) did not hold.
Well, i cant confirm but i think North had an election. I traveled to My town which was the venue and it was kinda rowdy

I so much prefer Stella to that dullard of a woman called Margery. She never tried to imitate her husband. Mrs Okadigbo was a waste in the red chambers and her paltry 8 votes speaks volume about it.

PoliticsStella Oduah wins Anambra PDP Senatorial ticket by Emyben(op): 4:19pm On Dec 07, 2014
Former Aviation Minister Stella Oduah has won incumbent Senator and wife of Chuba Okadigbo to pick PDP senatorial ticket in Anambra.

The former Minister of Aviation, who is to represent Anambra North Senatorial if she wins the forthcoming elections won with a total of 262 votes defeating incumbent senator Margary Okadigbo who got 6 votes out of the 287 total votes cast with 8 votes declared invalid by the electoral committee.

The primaries was held at Nteje, the headquarters of Oyi Local Council of the state

Ms Oduah, who was Nigeria's aviation minister accused of embezzlement with the bullet proof car purchase which eventually led to her exit at the ministry had begun mobilisation of the stakeholders' support for her ambition in Anambra North Senatorial District.
Before the Primary, Oduah who had long moved to Anambra state for almost a year now campaigning said she would provide effective representation and credible voice for the zone.

She said the zone would be restored to its pride of place where the people's creativity and entrepreneurial skills would top her priority, if voted into power.

The zone comprises seven local government areas in Anambra State – Anambra West, Ayamelum, Anambra East, Oyi, Onitsha North, Onitsha South and Ogbaru.

The immediate past Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, has won the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP ticket for Anambra Senatorial seat.
In a result announced in Nteje, Anambra State, Sunday, Ms. Oduah polled 259 votes to defeat Margery Okadigbo, the incumbent, and wife of former Senate president, Chuba Okadigbo.
Mrs. Okadigbo got eight votes.

Other contestants for the ticket included Sam Ikefuna, 10 votes; and John Emeka, 15 votes.
The former minister, who picked the party’s nomination form last October, got almost 90 percent of the total votes cast by delegates.
Mrs. Oduah was removed from office in Febraury, amid allegations corruption after she ordered the purchase of armoured cars not listed in the budget, and at nearly twice the market price.

PoliticsBuhari’s stand on insurgency unpatriotic –PDP by Emyben(op):
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC) has again carpeted the presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari over his promise to end the insurgency in the North-eastern part of the country, if voted into power in 2015 general elections.

In a statement signed by its National Publicity Scribe, Olisa Metuh, the ruling party, accused General Buhari of withholding information that could assist the present administration in addressing the scary security situation in the country.

The PDP further claimed that such mindset showed the APC’s presidential aspirant as unpatriotic.

Metuh said: “The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is constrained to take on former military ruler and four-time aspirant to the office of the president, General Muhammadu Buhari, on the insinuation contained in his declaration that the Federal Government has failed in tackling the problem of insurgency and that he will end the scourge if he is elected president.

“It is unfortunate that General Buhari, being a former head of state, has continued to play politics with a very serious security challenge, which has claimed the lives of many Nigerians by always trying to use the pains of the people to score cheap political points at a time all patriotic Nigerians are joining hands with government to look for solution.

“Rather than show patriotism by collaborating with the Federal Government, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential aspirant prefers that the nation has no solution until the time he is able to step in as president with his “magic wand” to end the insurgency.

“This not only exposes a height of insensitivity but also a clear absence of genuine love and concern for the people. Assuming, without conceding that he has the solution to the problem, should Buhari, as a prominent citizen, not have put the country first before any selfish political agenda and personal aggrandizement?”

The statement further claimed that chieftains of the main opposition party in the country, the APC were bent on frustrating every genuine move by the Dr. Goodluck Jonathan administration to end the insurgency.

The statement further read in part: “Whereas, the Federal Government has shown incontrovertible commitment to ending the insurgency by deploying troops and equipping the military, opposition leaders including General Buhari have continued in their desperate attempt to sabotage the efforts by making statements that encourage insurgency and which are capable of demoralising and dividing our security agencies.

RomanceRe: Nairalanders Please Help A Friend! Very Urgent!!! by Emyben(m): 9:18pm On Dec 01, 2014
naijaboiy:
This happened Last month.

A friend of mine travelled,,leaving his girlfriend of two years with his younger brother. He came back a week later and met only his brother at home.

After much enquiries his brother told him that he doesn't know what happened that she just left one morning and she was crying.

My friend hurried to her place and met her at home,,she was not looking cheerful either.
He questioned her and he was told that she was raped by his brother while he was away and that was why she left.

On the other hand,,his brother claimed that she was the one who seduced him. That she was always wearing skimpy dresses inside the house and she came to meet him inside the room one night.

Now my friend is confused,,he doesn't know who to believe neither does he know the best action to take. He loves this girl so much and it's difficult to let her go. She has been begging him not to leave her also. But he just can't stand her again,,looking at her eye to eye with that event in his mind is a problem. He had never suspected anything fishy going on between them,,everything seemed alright.

His younger brother is claiming innocent too and he's the only sibling he's got. My friend has been responsible for his school fees and upkeep for a long time now.

He doesn't know who to believe,,he doesn't know who to forgive.

Someone with a clear insight should please help!
The brother has no right to do that. Irrespective of the fact that this issue now involves family, i blame the brother. For Gods sake, this is your brothers girlfriend!!!! This is no time for blame tho, he can accept the girl back but what of the stigma? the ensuing hatred of the girl to the brother? .
My advice is that if the relationship can be devold of hatred, they should get back together but a in scenario where the memory of the incident will always manifest in various negative ways, they should call it quit. The future will always be brighter for each party. #mycontribution

Ziona Chana hasa has 39 wives, 94 children, 14 daughters-in-law and 33 grandchildren. They all live with him in his hotel-like 100-room, four-story house perched among the hills of Baktwang village in the Indian state of Mizoram.

One year, he married ten wives. Two of them sisters. His 39 wives say they are blessed to have him and take turns to share his bed.

It takes 30 whole chickens, peel 132lb of potatoes and boil up to 220lb of rice to make dinner for this family.

The family is organised with almost military discipline, with the oldest wife Zathiangi organising her fellow partners to perform household chores such as cleaning, washing and preparing meals.

Coincidentally, Mr Chana is said to head a sect that allows members to take as many wives as they want.

Rinkmini, one of Mr Chana's wives who is now 38 years old, said:
'We stay around him as he is the most important person in the house. He is the most handsome person in the village.

As at 2011, he said he was looking at marrying new wives to expand his family.

Their home.
Now what is the gain? Some will say, his act will help curb adultery.
