put a+b = 0

so 1(a+b) = 0

1 = 0/(a+b)

0 = 1

adding 2 on both sides

0+2 = 1+2

2= 3

1+1 =3
Method three
Let x = y, then

x−y+y=y

x−y/x−y+y=y/x−y

We can then simplify as:

x−y/x−y+y/x−y=y/x−y

or

1+y/x−y=y/x−y

1=y/x−y−y/x−y

1=0
