Today i wil be sharing with you all 'how to write A THRILLER.

A thriller is about a crime/disaster that is about to happpen.....unless the hero can stop it....the reader often knows who the villain is from the very begining....even watches over the villains shoulder as evil is committed.

Turn up the heat! Add time pressure (ticking clock), to make things even more tensed. Keep raising the stakes, pile on the trouble until your poor hero looks like a goner.

One way of building excitement is to keep shifting the advantage from one side to another. First, it looks like the hero's a goner, but there is a ray hope. But the ray hope turns out to be an illusion. The enemy grows. But the hero gets an ally.... Use cliffhangers-suspence, ticking clock-like a criminal who wil be execulted in 2 days if not proven innocent, and the fate of the hero lays in the criminal been alive..... Don't tel stories, or tell who and what is happening rather show who is...what is...How...when...teste....feelings...look like and sound like.

Ajibel: I seem not to understand why the choice of the age bracket 18-40 when the title clearly reads Young writers..... To me from 25-40 can't be considered young anymore. This should be reviewed

Acting zonal coodinators! Have you submitted your acceptance form?

We are again working to make use of our gsm numbers rather than email in quick responds and sure delivery, because all sms are easily accesed. Again, the email, of every member in each zone wil be forwarded to their respective zonal acting coordinators fo quick sugestions and comunications for fast fixtures of dates and venues.

It's high time we began the use of bulk sms. Its faster, and more effective

Abuja is the best so far. To north central, abuja, is no joking area. South west, lagos toped the list, with very few from east. For me the zonal meeting wil definatly hold in abuja, lagos and enugu. For the rest few, we going to a secured group website to achieve our own zonal meetings so we don't regret wasting our transport fare and time to meet les than 9 writers.

Finaly am back 2 skul. And again i lost my browser. But i wil not stay behind and let things get strucked.
@ all, don't get me wrong, the zonal meetings come first, and we have works to do at the zonal level, i.e providing of drafted constitutions from each zone, which wil later be harmonized at the general confrence. 2. Each zone is to provide hand ful of short poems and stories.
3. Again a major democraticaly selected literal work.
Amongst many other things our objective bear, with this we are able to achieve all. I wil today anounce the zonal leaders and date we expect them to meet. Dailynews, i'm reaching out to you.

South west. We are really working hard to finding competent zonal coordinators for the south west.

As we are working to fix zonal coordinators and their respective dates. I am to inform you all that the meetings are going to hold in just, enugu, abuja and lagos, for those who can't attend any of them, we are really working hard to carry everybody along no matter the location. Benin and port will definatly hold their zonal meetings at the end of the day.

Please as we wait patiently planing on how best to achieve this, i expect you all to submit alot of poems and short stories to your zones as a token from your respective zone. Again each zone is expected to provide just one of their most interest play or prose or any literal work, which wil therefore be considered for the clubs major publishing work.
