And so I decided to bypass GTBank this morning and go straight to UBA for prepaid dollar card. In about 1hr 30 mins, the card was handed over to me, but I never paid a dime for it. I was only told to activate it by funding it with a minimum of 4USD.

That is GTB for you there! They've partnered with Aliexpress to offer their domiciliary account holders some discounts on goods purchased provided they pay with the bank dollar card. They started the move during the August Aliexpress sales. I believe the motive behind this is to promote the use of their dollar card on Aliexpress. Very tricky people!
Bellow is my findings on the discount stuff:
$20 discount on order below $100.
$40 on order below $200
and so on.

I disagree. all my standard shipping has been handled by speedaf, I think it all depends on the item being shipped. Not certain but i think there are some items that cannot be shipped by air or through normal shipping

Those people at the post office are witches they try to milk me imagine paying 5k for products of 36 dollars, I just dey bone my face for them, one of the women their said any item above 30 dollars they charge 20%
The things I notice is if u get over excited about your product, or they'll tell you your product is top quality trying to make u exited for your item, looking for opportunities to milk you and if they notice its your first time shipping goods

I just tested stanbic via a purchase of less than 2 dollars, the thing went through, but at about 510naira per dollar. Who knows the new limit for stanbic bank please.

My stanbicIBTC card is added to Google play and Netflix. Deductions were made few days ago, so I assume the card works as long as it is within the 50usd monthly limit.
