There's currently no new recruitment neither was there any second batch nor list (to my knowledge) since 13th August 2018 after our resumption.

The only development this year is the just concluded delineation (in-house reshuffling in my opinion) between the two new regulators (NMDPRA & NUPRC)

Nevertheless, for any future info on recruitment I recommend www dot hotnigerianjobs dot com....I used to bookmark this site to my browser and refresh regularly for general jobs search.

Part Two.
After long time of persistence prayers and waiting by the villagers, Mr. Tata has finally fixed a date to travel to another village far west of the country. Mr.Tata's trip will be next week and all hands are on deck for the preparations to invite the successful guys who'll marry King Akka's daughters. However, on another twist, it's reveal the king Akka himself will be travelling out of the village. This is not unconnected with the rising tension from the district heads and elders in the palace, in which they resort to pushing the king himself to include their sons in the list. The pressure from them may have pushed him to consider his trip.

But it's widely believed once Mr Tata left the village, the successful guys will know their fate irrespective of weather the king himself travel or not. In addition, if the king himself and Mr Tata to travel together next Week, that's a good indication that the successful guys will be contacted before the week ends

Today I want to tell you a story.
Once upon a time, there was a village in the Far East of the country named Raad Paap Deer (RPD), this village is ruled by a king name Akka. So king Akka wants to marry up his 5 daughters who are due for marriage. All the village guys want to marry this girls, reason is because once you marry one of them, there are so many benefits. So alot of people start coming and meeting the king, to ask for his daughters hand in marriage. He king could not handle the number of people coming to seek his daughters hand in marriage. So king Akka comes up with an idea. He chose the best among his district heads name Mr Tata and appoint him as the person in charge of screening the guys who wants to marry his daughters. This man he chose(Mr Tata) has a good record of been fearless. He also know most of the young guys in the village. So Mr Tata ask all the guys to come for a screening at his home. During the screening, he takes note of the guys character, past record, education, family history and etc. He graded them accordingly and at the end of the screening, he has the best guys among thousands that want to marry King Akka daughters. But during the screening process, some of the district heads and elders in the palace have personally meet Mr Tata and pleaded with him to include their sons among those that will marry the king daughters. But because Tata is fearless, He always tell them he want to be fair to everyone and he will only select them if they did great and pass the screening he organize. This didn't go well with the elders and Districts heads, as they know most of their sons didn't perform well in the screening. So they keep pressure rising Mr Tata. After concluding his task, he submit the names of the successful guys to king Akka. Mr Tata informed the king to release the names to the public only after he (Mr Tata) travel out of the village. To avoid last minute pressure from the district heads and elders. The king has agreed to Mr Tata's request that the list will be released only when he already left the village. The pressure is high in the village as both the palace elders and district heads are hoping their sons names are among. Also the village people have confident on Mr Tata's decision, and they know it will favour them when the list is finally release by the king. But nobody knows who are those lucky guys that will marry the king daughters. Only time will tell.

Good morning Smartgrid. I was just reading this post again...are u trying to say that the FCC is done with the list n all that is remaining is for DPR to contact successful applicants?

Total number of ONDs taken are about 110.
About 300 will be taken for both EH/GT.
Most of the 300 are GTs. EH are less than 100.

And yes, there's is going to be second batch. Not fresh recruitment, they will be selected from the pool of those who've already applied. No date fix yet for batch B., but it's going to be this year.

I am 101% sure that as at Yesterday, 13/02/2018 No list (GT/EH) has left DPR for fcc. The successful applicants has been selected. But they are still going through rigorous checking and finishing touches.

It's very possible to send the list to fcc from today till the end of the week. And it's possible to get the approval this week as dpr has been complying with fcc at every stage of the recruitment. The certificate of compliance could also be obtain this week and successful emails to roll Next Week.

That's all I know from my little source. You don't have to agree with it. Wishing everyone including myself the best of luck.

Nevertheless if anyone else heard something different or additional information, share it if u which but I don't believe discouraging her is right. Nope jan 8 is not. I know for a fact the selection process is barely started.. The interviews finished about 2weeks ago na (we know how controversial this recruitment is asper slot/merit dragging sessions couldn't hav been so quick)Work resumes 2nd right?
So even if we assume the impossible that they do the full selection on that same day and draw up the final list of candidates ON THE SAME DAY...so they will send to FCC and FCC will also take just a few days to approve? Before 8th? And letters will be typed and printed and candidates will be called too by 8th? All In 1 week? Pls feel free to draw your conclusions.. however, will it be really hard just to be patient just a few weeks more? We are close to the finish line people. It's not every conspiracy theory that actually requires a response..be anxious for nothing.
