Continue with the blame game and when you are done a bomb may just explode in ur backyard. There is no time to blame my brother. Their was a deliberate attempt by past civilian leaders to weaken the army in fear of a violent take over of power by the army, thats what we are paying for now. If the army has been allowed to grow the way it was thriving before, defeating BH would be easier than it seems now.

The so called rapid response squad option has been used, they recorded huge success, when special forces from 82 division flew in during one of the biggest BH attacks in Maid, however the tempo wasn't sustained my opinion for now would be a cover and smoke strategy, but its so bad that such a strategy would require more than 50% of the army to be on ground in the northeast. it has become obvious that we are short of soldiers.

Our country is at war, we should be united and encourage our troops. its sad to say, but unwarranted deaths may occur. Efforts should be put in place to minimize it.

I will continue to blame your corrupt and clueless GEJ (Watch the video below)

Boko Haram Are Getting Arms From The Nigerian Armed Forces

Ever wondered where the Islamist sect Boko haram get their arms?. A Public Affairs Analyst, Mahmood Othman, says
the members of Boko Haram get their arms from the Nigerian Armed Forces. He said that the arms are gotten whenever they attack Police stations and military posts.

Sometimes we talk too much over simple things. If you think the army is useless or not helpful, try removing the army totally from the northeast and see if any governor or political office holder can stay there. There is judas everywhere and the army isnt an exception. This is the first time the army would be engaged in guerrilla warfare. Try watching videos of the biafra war, the army did not sieve or filter defenseless children and woman, they were all killed each time the army captured a stronghold.

This soldiers are human beings like me and you. (enlisted to die you may respond) while some are enlisted to make noise on nairaland. When Japan attacked US ship and very few americans died, young american men rose up and volunteered to join the army just to fight japan. more than 10million men volunteered.

We are a nation of over 160million and we have less than 80,000 army officers + recruits or korofo. Infact the full armed forces is far less than 200,000.

Nigeria is all we have as youths. If any civil war breaks out all these old politicians would fly out of the country and wait for us to finish killing ourselves, then return to continue with the looting. we have to come together as one and tackle BH. How can we dialogue with faceless monsters, killing christians and muslims alike. Its more than a religion thingyyyy. BH are lunatics... Bombing schools (are there not muslims and christians alike in the school).
I would always tell people that whether its GEJ or APC that is behind BH, the truth would be out soon, but mean while we need to see ourselves as one and encourage our troops. At Least for now the army is the only option we have to witness something close to sanity in the north east.

Long live the Army
long live Nairaland
Long live Nigeria.

The soldiers Boko haram are cutting thier throat are children of no body. hide ur head in the sand. Can eventualities be avoided in this type of war. phephaps if you have lost a friend who is a soldier fighting in northeast, you would understand how things are run their. when u see illegal killings like that its usually not a top down order, but retaliations of foot soldiers. Didnt you watch the last bokoharam vid, didnt you see the way locals (children) where happy and jumping as boko's where displaying with the armoured tanks captured from the Nigerian soldiers. Its normal during gurriella war. May God end this boko haram madness.

nduchucks:
@OP, I'm glad we still have people like you in this great country. When I raised alarm about this issue a few months ago, i was called a Boko Haram sympathiser by people who should know better.

Get a life brother. Who are the people carrying out the killing in the army. Which ethnic groupings occupy most positions in the army. Which ethnic groupings has the highest number of infantries in the Nigerian armed force. You can as well interpret ur findings as northerners killing northerners.
We have a problem at hand, the earlier you realize that even if GEJ isnt in aso rock, the Boko haram saga would continue.
This is a guerrilla war fare and you dont expect innocent people to die?
next time edit ur post to read that GEJ took ak47 to kill northerners. I wonder how people think this days.
May Boko haram not cross over to the south, west or east. But again this is almost impossible if we continue to blame GEJ or APC, we cant get off our problem. The elders of the northern region would have to take step, else northeast would remain 5yrs backward and after this war, it may become 20yrs backward.

"Nigerian Hidden War" Genocide Under President Jonathan

by Princess Marian Awolowo

Firstly, on behalf of millions of Nigerians across the globe, we thank Channel 4 Dispatches Program for exposing the truth about the hidden war that is been waged in Nigeria against Nigerians by Boko Haram in connivance with Nigerian State Agents. We can assure you that we ordinary concerned Nigerians and friends of Nigeria will ensure that millions of innocent Nigerians demand justice. Once again, we thank you for this brilliant service to humanity with a high probability of saving lives in the future.

Dear Nigerians,

Information reaching us since yesterday confirms our suspicion that Nigerian Government has used mutiny to BARRED OTHERS INCLUDING Nigerians across the world except UK to have access to this Video which confirms without any shred of doubt that Nigerian Armed Forces are committing act of genocide against Nigerians, especially thousands of innocent Northerner's.

We believe it is your fundamental right as good citizens, amiable and loving Nigerians to know the truth about the 21st century hidden genocide that is been committed by President Jonathan's regime, as this will set all of us free from future preventable retaliations, replications, or any other foreseeable disasters that we may confront if we failed to stop this barbaric behavior, apparently instigated, initiated, managed and conducted by those we trusted with our lives-The Nigerian Military Forces under President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

Health › Re: Barbers Are Spreading Ebola Every Second!!! by endy231: 6:38pm On Aug 26, 2014
This is clear misinformation.
Bros Kirinwa i have been ur follower for a long time on NL.
But i say a beg NO to this post.
Why do u have to pick out barbers, Why specific?
Does the mechanic, plumber, hairdresser, markup artists, house painters etc not have potential to spread ebola.
Infact banks should be closed so u cant withdraw ur green pips also. grin grin grin

People should be generally careful and observe basic personal hygiene.
Lets spread the prevention and not the fear. If it was that bad like u portray 50% of lagosians should have tested positive and the whole of Liberia and Guinea should have seized to exist.

Party rice cooked with firewood or gas which tastes better in ur mouth.

Inline with overall safety, i also prefer the use of gas.

Devt like these shouldnt stop in providing access to gas, an agency of the govt should also focus on safety education on the use of gas.

I smell a rat, lets assume it was a real attack, the questions i need to ask are,
1. who are the security escorts that blocked the fast moving vehicle
2. when the convoy slowed down near the market, why didnt the escort continue to block the vehicle?
The Nigerian security escort that i know of would never allow you overtake them, once they have blocked you. Infact once the traffic slows down, some strokes of koboko is the surest thing for you.
3. why did Buhari's escort behave differently?

This story does not add up, mr Buhari.
Very soon car would cost just 100k cause if u dont ride on a bullet proof car like Buhari or Stella Oduah. It would be in ur best intrest to seat @ home.
