If he doesn't give his consent who then invites kinsman for the marriage negotiation. The father cannot be there and the woman would go around inviting kinsman. This is igboland you are talking about oo. Maybe the custom is no longer strong in your community. Women don't give consent for marriage that's why in the olden days a father would arrange marriage even against the will of the supposed bride. I don't just type, I have witnessed a lot.

Check all Saints in Catholic church, most of them performing miracles by the help and assistance of the Almighty. I just dy look those way they shout miracle up and down. Why are they little miracle working pastors in the first world countries compared to those in third worlds?
