He said he got an email he did not like and went to face his boss.
Why did he not reply by email and copy in HR or any other relevant person. This kind of thing is best handled in writing so that there is a paper trail.

A major problem in Nigeria is emotional incontinence. A person who has no control over his emotions or himself should not be in charge of others.
