Since 2023 the opposition in Nigeria have focused on hardship without looking at the cause.... Despite their cry of hardship....none of them have been bold enough to say they will reverse the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu govt. policies and reforms.... The so call " hardship" in Nigeria have two major cause.... Removal of fuel Subsidy that increased cost of energy... Removal of FX subsidy that led to the depreciation of Naira.... I can bet my life that any Nigeria leader who reverse these two key reforms won't spend up to a year in office.... As the calamity he would create would lead to a massive uprising that would consume him... Take petrol for example.... If subsidy is restored and prices are taken back to N200.... Nigeria daily fuel consumption will more than double to over 100 million litres daily... As smuggling across the border will skyrocket.. Household use will skyrocket.... Cost of Subsidy will skyrocket ( and where will the money come from) Dangote refinery won't be able to supply 30%... Import will triple as every marketer want to eat free subsidy cash.. NNPCL alone can't import such volume.. Demand for FX will skyrocket... Putting pressure on Naira value that must equally be brought back to N460 to a dollar to drastically reduce petrol subsidy because living exchange rate at N1400 could potentially mean spending over N40trillion on subsidy annually... And you ask where would the reserve be to defend the peg.... Where would they find money to pay N40trillion annual subsidy.... So it would be a chain of disaster upon disaster... And these clueless Atiku Democratic Congress that can't manage a political party would collapse Nigeria in weeks.... If they peg the Naira to N460 to a dollar....and Nigeria make $1billion from crude instead of making N1.4trillion as it is under Tinubu... They would make N460billion.... So Nigeria FAAC revenue would collapse by over 60%.. Over 30...states depends on FAAC by over 60% of their revenue None of these states will be able to pay salaries... Including the federal government.... Workers won't agree to revers minimum wage to N30,000.... When govt stop paying salary... No revenue to defend fuel and FX Subsidies... That would be the beginning of the end of Nigeria... Atiku Democratic Congress are potential undertakers of Nigeria... Copied |

FG insists Nigeria safe after US Embassy Abuja suspended visa appointments indefinitely hours after issuing travel advisory The Federal Government insists Nigeria is safe for all Nigerians as well as foreigners who visit the country for business or pleasure. The Federal government gave the assurance hours after the US Embassy in Abuja ordered the evacuation of non-emergency staff and their families from its embassy in Abuja. The embassy in a fresh statement issued on Thursday evening announced the indefinite suspension of visa appointments in its Abuja consulate. In a statement released, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, said the advisory did not reflect the overall security situation in Nigeria. He described the US decision as a precaution based on internal protocols rather than an indication of widespread insecurity. “While we acknowledge isolated security challenges in some areas, there is no general breakdown of law and order, and the vast majority of the country remains stable.” He pointed to ongoing security operations across multiple regions, noting that coordinated military action, intelligence-led interventions, and closer inter-agency collaboration have produced measurable results. “Our security agencies remain actively engaged in protecting lives and property, and the results of these efforts are increasingly evident,” he said, adding that these efforts had disrupted criminal networks, limited the activities of armed groups, and improved safety in vulnerable communities. The minister also emphasised that Nigeria continues to welcome business, investment, and travel. While recognising the right of other countries to issue travel advisories, Idris urged international partners to seek accurate and current information. “We encourage our international partners to continuously engage with Nigerian authorities to obtain a more comprehensive and current understanding of the situation on the ground,” he said Copied

WHO IS INEC REALLY WORKING FOR? OUTRAGE AS LAW PROFESSOR ‘MISREADS’ BASIC DOCTRINE - By Darlington Okpebholo Ray, Truth Live News International. In a nation already grappling with institutional decay and political manipulation, the latest controversy surrounding the Chairman of INEC has once again raised a fundamental question: Are Nigeria’s democratic institutions still guided by law, or by political convenience? At the heart of this unfolding crisis lies a basic legal doctrine, status quo ante bellum, a principle so elementary that even first year law students understand its implication. It simply means a return to the exact position that existed before the disputed action. Yet, in what can only be described as baffling and deeply troubling, the INEC Chairman, a Professor of Law, chose to interpret this doctrine in a manner that resulted in the removal of the David Mark led Executive Committee of the ADC. This is not just an error. It is either a profound misreading of the law or something far more sinister. Legal interpretations from respected senior lawyers have been clear and consistent. The directive to maintain or return to status quo ante bellum means all parties, including Nafiu Gombe and David Mark, must revert to the original structure that existed ab initio before the dispute was brought before the court. Nothing more, nothing less. So, where did INEC derive the authority to act otherwise? This is where the matter becomes dangerously political. Because when a Professor of Law ignores a principle this basic, Nigerians are left with only two uncomfortable conclusions. Either the Chairman does not understand the law he professes, or he understands it perfectly and has chosen to weaponise it. And if it is the latter, then we are staring at a deliberate attempt to destabilise the ADC, weaken opposition structures, and tilt the democratic playing field in favour of the ruling party. This is not just about ADC. This is about the soul of Nigeria’s democracy. When institutions that are meant to be neutral arbiters begin to act like political tools, democracy ceases to exist in substance and survives only in name. INEC must understand this: credibility is not declared, it is earned. And once lost, it is almost impossible to recover. Nigerians are watching. Closely! *MY BELOVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* *The official campaigns for the 2027 elections* *will soon kick off nationwide.* *Take 1 minute and ponder on these hard facts!* 1. No face cap 🧢 can cover your hunger for 4 years. 2. No T-Shirt can protect you from insecurity for 4 years. 3. 5kg rice cannot help your belly for 4 years. 4. 1 litre of groundnut oil cannot sustain your kitchen for 4 years. 5. 4 yards of Ankara cannot cover poverty for 4 years. 6. If someone offers you 10k for campaign or voting, ask yourself this question. How much do they give to their children as pocket money per month? 7. Remember, your 10k is for 4 years, and it is once and for all. 8. Think about your value, Think about your voice, Think about your future, You are also human, you must not die on the crumbs table! 9. Politicians are not more Nigerian than you are. The power is in your hands. 10. If the best candidate does not have the chance to win, waste your vote on him without a second thought. 11. It is better to live a fulfilled life, than voting for your own problems. It is the best thing to do. You have a chance to speak in the future. 12. Remember you are not suffering as a Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo,Igala ,Tiv or Jukun, but as a Nigerian. Reject all ethnical cards that are unfavourable to your future. 13. They will visit you during campaign, but you will never see them again until the next campaign. 14. Work for an accountable candidate. 15. Election is local, but politics is international. The outcome of election will not only affect you, it affects all Nigerians irrespective of where they are. 16. Think about the character and integrity of your candidate. 17. Don't submit yourself as campaign thug, the children of politicians are enjoying winter abroad. They don't go out with knife 🔪, gun 🔫, or charms. Their lives are very important to their parents. Be wise, Be smart, Be thoughtful, Be focused. God bless Nigeria. Copied |
