Very important in these times. Jazakumullahu khayran |
ObiPandora:Ooh. Just because I commended Lagos State you've assumed that I'm an Igbo. Wow. I marvel at how you guys think. |
Akissani:Thank you for this. Let the bigots also know that the Christian chaplaincy has both Catholic and protestant denominations while Islamic Affairs have one, thus two pastors and one Imam. Our system is even rigged against muslims but ironically it's the christians that claim vice versa. |
Wow. Islamophobes everywhere. Rather than concentrating to better themselves morally and spiritually, they lurk around awaiting any thread on Islam to feast on it. Make I educate wuna small on this matter. Go to the military barrack and explore. You'll see one juma'at mosque and TWO churches - one catholic and the other protestant. Check adverts for short service across the the three military arms, you'll always see same. The military have their numerous Corps and they attend courses in their training schools e.g Medical Corps, Public Relations, Education, Infantry, Armored Corps. So why on earth are you nagging just because military Imams are getting trained in a military institution? What sort of bigotry is that? If you don't know about some stuff, ask around rather embarrassing yourself |
Good one. It's an abnormality for Lagos State to owe pensions and gratuities. By the way, is there any state that has less than a year backlog for its pensioners? |
As far as the military men were not there to contain the protest, they should have been allowed passage. I can sight the official vehicle a major general lending credence that fact. Same should be applied to vehicles on emergency services. In 2015 at Zaria, shiites blocked a major road and refused the chief of army staff passage despite diplomatic entreaties. We all know how disproportionate the response was later. Abeg let's be using our sense O. |
Companies are set up to make profits. All the turanchi about "African patient" or "putting customers first" are afterthoughts. |
Sometimes it's good to have politicians fight, that's when the public gets to know the happenings at the backend. Why should a deputy governor get 22 vehicles the worth of which is perhaps up to a billion Naira? If Shuaibu isn't in acrimony with his former boss, he'll most likely go home with some of these exotic vehicles auctioned to him at a paltry sum. No wonder the country is not working |
The chicken is coming home to roost. When the FG was increasing the tariff, they didn't envisage that it will affect them too. In hindsight, the privatisation of the generation and distribution arms of the electricity value chain was a big mistake. It has made power inaccessible to most Nigerians. How does one explain how a country that sits atop vast reserves of natural gas, yet the citizens are suffering from black outs! FG has its share of natural gas through JVs, why not allocate a part of it for electricity generation? |
So far as you don't know the scope of the work, it's better you keep mum until you get more info. No be by force to comment on on everything |
Let them give Setraco and Berger two years deadline to complete that project. That road is too critical to be left in its present comatose state |
Wishing Niger State success in its renewed drive. As the largest state by land area, its agricultural output should be proportional. |
Dig deeper and you'll find that it's the govt that is at fault. These two companies are not known for unnecessary project delays |
Praxis758:And who told you they don't have? |
Our leaders have unfortunately sacrificed us to Bretton Woods institutions. A day hardly goes by without you hearing the mention of World Bank and IMF. It will take pints of sweat and blood to escape their stranglehold |
So far it's truly Lagos to Calabar coastal road(not camouflaged VI-Ogun border), gbese awaits the bank. |
They shouldn't waste time to buy the new planes. We need them to curb inflation in the economy |
All the routes, except one, are in Asia. Turbulence is terrible. |
Everyone can now see why the oath in the Islam section had to be instituted. So many bigoted christians around who don't know the dictates of their religion not to talk of adhering to them. You'll never see muslims gloating on chrristian threads |
ceejay10:What's scary about it? |
I can bet my salary that they can't go for a long strike. Buhari has taught ASUU a bitter lesson. If you're a lecturer, just find side hustles to complement your earnings |
Man, Saudi Arabia has really gone far ahead. That's where you see development driven by oil money. As for Nigeria, OYO is the case |
The police took the right step. The day two durbars take place in Kano there'll be serious chaos |
The only good thing I know about Obaseki is how he caters well for the civil service. Everything else is nothing to write home about |
Hmm. This is one of avenues civil servants get legal money via estacodes. Though the large delegation is not justifiable |
There is a reason why traditional leaders are banished after dethronement. It is to keep peace. |
Just a question, why not develop the Warri port instead of sinking such amounts into a new port? I also hope the host communities are ready to allow such big enterprise to thrive, without heaping unnecessary expenses like deve and Fto. |
Bumcious:Go to IAR at ABU Zaria, you will get it |
I can assure you that this railway will not be functional by next year. Though I must acknowledge that the project is ongoing. Track laying is perhaps more than.halfway but there's still a whole lot to do, including the construction of the stations. they're stylishly delaying till close so that they'll use it to campaign for 2027 elections |
pazienza:NW will get 10 states and SW 8 |
The SW should also get back their relatives in Benin Republic, the North their people in Niger. |
chinwezdasilva:It is fairly okay. It's been a while I heard of any attack in recent times |
