i'm going on to get the urine test and don'tg think i'm getting keloids though the middle of my incision hasn't melted completly(had dissolving thread)
i'm trying really hard to stay off my feet but i do need to work,this is nigeria,no work no pay.

Hi DR,
hope u rememeber me,lost pregnancies,fibroids and all,well i had an abdominal mycotemy on wednesday last week,got discharged on monday,taking my drugs regularly and cleaning my incision with methalyted spirit as directed.
When i pee i feel a bit of pressure or pain,is that normal and when can i really get back to work(i work in entertainment and i'm active)
oh i forgot the doctor also found a cyst though the result isn't out yet.

Thanks,been bleeding since tuesday the 14th,when i first called the doctor he said i should watch it as it might be my period coming on time,kept bleeding and called him last friday and that's when he asked me to go on primolut n,still bleeding though though it's reduced but hasn't stopped.also what kind of iron supplements would you recommed.thanks again for responding,know you are busy.

In jan,scan said there was a fundo-anterior intramural fibroid measuring 36mm/37mm, anterior and posterior lower uterine segment intramurals fibroid measuring 14mm/14mm and 35mm /38mm.
In feb,the scan said there a mass attached to the uterine fundus measuring 70.6x56.7mm another image is seen posterior to the cervix measuring about 41.0x39.3mm,don't know what the size is now though i know it was larger after the last pregnancy in the early part of this month,still bleeding though and the doctor has me on primolut n two tablets three times a day.

The first one was a twin gestation that the doctors called a missed abortion at 8wk 6d,this was in august last year, the other two were also missed abortions at 5wk and the last one which was in june this year was 8wk.all this were evacuated.
Had a termination in jan last year when i wasn't sure i wanted kids,but After that experince i was kindda scared and decided with my boyfriend who is my fiancee now to have kids and all these started.

Hi, i just joined nairaland and i'm pleased to know that you are giving free advise and all.
My problem is this,i've lost 4 pregnancies between march 2007 and now,the last one was in june and was told i had fibroids and it had choked the foetus,the docs say i have to have surgery and he scheduled me in for end of august,had an evacuation two weeks ago,but last tuesday,i started bleeding heavily,it's still on and associated with massive pain,i called the doc and he says it's the fibroids acting up.he asked me to take primolut n twice daily for ten days.
My question is this,one,he didn't give me anything for the pain or the weakness i'm feeling.
Two,doesn,t this mean my surgery should be moved forward.
What else should i do,isn't there some sort of drugs i should be on or something.
The docs here are vague and don't talk much,i'm a HOUSE(the series)junkie and know some medical terms and have been with some medical students during university days,just wish the docs will tell me more.
Three,what are my chances of having children after the surgery.
I'm engaged,have no kids,stay in lagos,nigeria and scared.
