Prof Nentawe is a good man, even as a lecturer he would sponsor the research of students under his supervision and I was a benefiary of this. Thank God for his elevation. |
He's one of the voices that refused to be silenced. Fulani Jigadist terrorist will end up causing an ethnic/tribal/religious war in this country if they are not stopped. |
No Benue person housed the fulanis Terrorists, Yelewata borders Nasarawa State, Nasarawa State is headquarters of Miyetti Allah and the Forward Operating Base (FOB) of Fulani Militias. Bello Bodejo, president of Miyetti Allah Kauta Hore was arrested in Nasarawa state by the Army a year ago for launching an illegal vigilante group, these are the terrorist causing havoc in Benue state and southern Nigeria. Is Nasarawa a fulani state? Why is Nasarawa their headquarters if not for its stragetic location and promixity to Benue, Jos, Taraba and South east states where they want their terrorist presence to be felt? Nasarawa state Governor has questions to answer, they are housing and accommodating these Fulani terrorists. Communities housing these evil men should be wary of collateteral consequences as the situation is actually getting out of hand. hope the Nasarawa state government retrace its steps by no longer providing a safe heaven for these terrorists fulanis. |
These terrorists have safe accommodation in Nasarawa And Taraba state, those Special forces should be deployed in these border states where they hibanate and lunch attacks on unarmed citizens. The governors of these two starmted especially Nasarawa should caution communities housing these demons. |
Go to Benue and see for yourselves, more than 500,000 Internally displaced persons who can't even access their homes, what is their crime? The fulani militias come from neighbouring Nasarawa and Taraba states where they have several camps , launch attacks and go back, what has the Muslim dominated Nasarawa and Taraba states done to prevent such attacks on Benue people ? Have you ever heard the Sultan of sokoto condem all these attrocities committed by his kinsmen against the Christian communities in Benue? On 25 December 2024, about 50 people were killed by these funani terrorists at Anwase in a single day at Anwase, Turan, Kwande Local Government of Benue state, as we speak several communities in Turan are inaccessible, same thing is happening across several local governments in Benue state. The federal government doesn't cover most of these murders in the media, the issue is who are the sponsors of these fulani terrorists? Why can't these demons be arrested and prosecuted? The Fulani jihadists are fighting a Jihad, this is the same strategy Uthman Dan fodio used to capture the Hausa's, sadly they never succedded in islamizing Benue, neither will they succeed now! The Nigerian government has never been sincere and committed to arresting and prosecuting the perpetrators and fulani sponsors of the genocide in Benue , Jos and Southern Kaduna! This shouldn't be happening in the 21st century |
He's a fearless, strict, incorruptible Judge, they couldn't pocket him hence all these persecutions. What a country!!! |
Picture of mass burial of Benue citizens killed by Fulani Militias in Otukpo; February 2025! As I write , several council wards in Turan,Kwande LGA has been deserted, on 25 December, there was mass killings of people in Anwase, Kwande LGA by these same Fulani Militias! Who are the sponsors of these fulani Militias? Sponsors and enablers of these maurauding Fulani militias must face the consequences of their actions! You can't continue killing unarmed civilians without facing the consequences of your henious actions

Lagos generates a substantial amount of Value Added Tax (VAT) due to two primary reasons: 1. Many multinational companies have their headquarters in Lagos, and as a result, they remit their VAT payments in the state, despite their goods and services being consumed nationwide. For instance, all major telecom companies pay their VAT in Lagos. 2. Lagos is also the primary hub for clearing imported goods, which generates significant VAT revenue. Although these goods are eventually shipped to other states for consumption, the VAT is still paid in Lagos. This raises questions about the underutilization of other ports in the country. If these ports were developed and utilized, it could lead to a more even distribution of VAT revenue across states. Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, and Rivers state shares boundary with the Atlantic Ocean, let's diversify, decongest Lagos and open up new ports in all these states and watch as many companies/factories/industries spring up in these states and neighboring states as well. Having functional ports in only one state is not ideal, even for our collective and National security reasons. Moreover, such can only lead to overcongestion in one state/region and underdevelopment and underutilization of potential resources in other regions. Collectively, we are better together as one country as each state has its own strength and weaknesses , Remember, almost Every state in Nigeria has what it takes to be self dependent, take away oil money from Nigeria today watch other states go back to agriculture, mining etc and develop their under utilized potentials. Let's put an end to tribalism, sectionalism, bigotry! Let's stand up against insecurity, edemic corruption and bad leadership as these are the major evils fighting against every Nigerian both born and unborn! |

Schedule a timeline, Take the registration to every polling unit in the country, at least in the rural areas, and see how millions will be enrolled. This is the smartest thing to do. |
As a Nigerian, we must not give up on the fight for a better Nigeria free from corruption and the worsening security challenges (Herdsmen, kidnappers and and all terrorists) |
As Nigerians and other Nationalities top the list, A report from Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada revealed that the cost of providing housing to asylum seekers was approximately $115 million between 2023 and 2024. Between February 2023 and February 2024, Niagara Falls hosted nearly 5,000 asylum seekers at the cost of $208 per day per person. They were provided with accommodations for at least 113 days. The expenses included lodging, meals, services, and security measures. The majority of the asylum seekers were from Nigeria, Venezuela, Kenya, Turkey, and Colombia. |

I concur with your perspective on the lack of adequate awareness. It is evident that these challenges run deep, and it is imperative for the government, civil society, and the international community to collaborate in order to identify solutions and extend assistance to those in need. Furthermore, it is worth considering that, given the government's inability to curb the activities of the killer herdsmen and their sponsors in committing these atrocious crimes against humanity, it becomes essential for local communities to be empowered to defend themselves against such attacks. Every Nigerian life matters, and both the government and affected states must adopt innovative strategies to put an end to these malevolent forces. Enough is Enough!!!

Nigeria, often referred to as the "Giant of Africa," is facing an escalating crisis that demands the world's attention. Over the past few years, the country has witnessed a surge in violence, as herders have been implicated in acts of terrorism and have caused widespread displacement of communities. The humanitarian crisis has reached such a critical point that the United Nations has stated that the situation in Internally Displaced Persons' (IDPs) camps in Benue State is worse than that in the North Eastern region, including Borno State, which is known as the headquarters of Boko Haram insurgency. THE UN'S CONCERN: The Resident/Humanitarian Coordinator in Nigeria, Dr. Mathias Schmale, raised the alarm when he visited Governor Hyacinth Alia in Benue State. According to him, the humanitarian crisis in IDP camps in Benue State surpasses the severity of the crisis in Borno State, which has long been grappling with the devastating impact of Boko Haram. The situation in Benue, largely fueled by herder-related violence, has left over 241,342 individuals displaced, struggling to find shelter, food, and safety. The crisis in Benue State is a stark reminder of the urgency needed to address the growing humanitarian disaster that has engulfed the nation. These IDP camps are overcrowded and under-resourced, with families living in dire conditions and lacking basic necessities. The United Nations and various humanitarian organizations are working tirelessly to provide assistance, but the scale of the crisis exceeds the available resources. INTERNATIONAL WARNINGS: The severity of the situation is further emphasized by the travel advisories issued by prominent nations like Canada and the United States. On November 6, 2023, the government of Canada updated its travel advisory to warn its citizens against non-essential travel to Nigeria. The advisory cited the unpredictable security situation throughout the country, coupled with the significant risk of terrorism, crime, inter-communal clashes, armed attacks, and kidnappings as the key reasons behind this decision. Canada's advisory comes just days after the United States issued its own warning to its citizens in Nigeria on November 3, 2023. These advisories are a testament to the worsening security conditions in the country, making it evident that the crisis is no longer confined to specific regions but has spread across Nigeria. In addition to avoiding Nigeria as a whole, Canada has also singled out several Nigerian states, such as Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Sokoto, Zamfara, Plateau, Kogi, Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, Yobe, and the Niger Delta states of Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers (except Rivers' capital city, Port Harcourt). This is due to the risks of terrorism, armed attacks, kidnapping, inter-communal violence, and sectarian clashes that continue to plague these regions. As a citizen of Benue State, it saddens me every time I journey from Abuja to Makurdi. The heartbreaking sight of IDP camps as you near Makurdi leaves one contemplating the plight of these blameless individuals who've been compelled to abandon their homes. Their loved ones have fallen victim to the brutality of herders who persistently commit these heinous acts. It leads one to ponder how few of these culprits' backers have faced legal consequences. These are individuals who openly issue threats, yet it seems as though nobody is willing to hold them accountable for their actions. A CALL TO ACTION: Nigeria's humanitarian crisis is a stark reminder that urgent action is needed to address the escalating violence and displacement. The situation is not confined to one region or group; it affects the entire nation and demands a collective response from both the Nigerian government and the international community. It is imperative for the Nigerian government to prioritize the safety and well-being of its citizens by taking effective measures to curb the violence and ensure the protection of vulnerable communities. Collaboration with international organizations and neighboring countries is essential to finding a lasting solution to the crisis. The international community must also step up its efforts to support Nigeria in dealing with this humanitarian disaster. Increased humanitarian aid, security cooperation, and diplomatic initiatives are vital to bringing stability and peace back to Nigeria. Nigeria's growing humanitarian crisis is a tragedy that cannot be ignored. As international warnings continue to highlight the severity of the situation, the world must come together to support the people of Nigeria and work towards a future where peace and stability prevail over violence and displacement. It is a collective responsibility to ensure that the "Giant of Africa" regains its strength and remains a beacon of hope for its citizens.
