helpee: I am yoruba but so far I am very disappointed that this Govt is actively promoting ethnic marginalisation of Ndigbo. Igbo didn't vote for APC fine. A democratic Govt should by now make them see reason why they made a mistake by embracing them in his Govt. They said they want Biafra. You said no yet you are marginalising them in their own country. Obama made one of his opponent vice president and the other opponent became secretary of state. So far buhari has only be vindictive. Like it or not, he will divide nigeria faster than radio Biafra if he continues to play his arewa ethnic card. Alaaye Ebola dey ur head, why u dey impersonate yoruba, Shey ori e pe sha. let's see his cabinet first b4 una wail finish. the truth is dat Igbo don't kw politics what dey said is dat "They will sink with Jonathan" and r dey not sinking now. even Obiano said anybody that voted for Buhari is an Igbo Bastard. when did an Ijaw man became an Igbo man. they r still bittered about Buhari's victory. dey need to understand politics first b4 shouting dia useless Biafra. for Agent of Biafra, what d elders see while sitting, the young ones when dey climb the mountain top can never see it. Advice to this indomie generation shouting dey want division. |

Politics › Re: Buhari Will Probe Jonathan’s Govt Only; Not Obasanjo’s, Others – Presidency by engrlarex(m): 9:49am On Jul 23, 2015 |
EUROBOMBER: I have carefully analysed recent events and taken time to study a lot of what happened before during and after the Biafran war.
The truth is that if the Igbos succeed in pulling out of Nigeria, the Niger Delta might not completely be part of the new country but they will definitely also seek to be on their own and manage their resources. This would effectively leave only the SW and the North in Nigeria. If it turns out this way, the Yorubas most likely would also gently ask to be left to be on their own. At the end of it all, we go our separate ways.
Let me quickly add here that Igbo land is much bigger than the Nigerian politically defined SE. Should Nigeria break today, all Igbo-speaking parts of the SS will be part of our new country. The Igbos will force no tribe to be part of us, we will accept those that want to stay with us and those that don't want to be with us will be free to stand on their own or join any other groups they so wish. I am saying this loud and clear so that some people will not come here and start shouting, "We are not part of your Biafra, leave us alone, leave our oil alone."
The Igbos can do very well without oil. There are many countries in the world without oil and are doing very fine. Germany is the most powerful economy in Europe today and they don't have a cup of crude oil there. Israel moved into a desert and converted it into a country very comfortable for habitation. The list is endless. Recent trends have also shown that oil is becoming worthless by the day. What really matters for a nation to be great is the quality of human resources available.
For the parts of the SS that would choose to be part of the new country, we can accept to run a regional system of government between the core Igbo states and parts of the Niger Delta. We can even accept a solution such that both regions would take 80% of revenue accrued within the regions and contribute 20% to the center. This the Niger Delta can never get in this present Nigeria.
For those people from the SS always shouting leave our oyel, I want to tell you that the Northerners are already drinking your oil and have even become drunk on it. You are shouting at Igbos to leave your oyel whereas Northerners are taking the same oil from under your nose and you can do nothing. How myopic and sentimental can some people be?
On a closing note, I believe in one Nigeria but one where there is justice, fairness & equity. For me, Buhari should hand over to an Igbo man if Igbos are truly part of Nigeria. We are part of the big three and too big to be ignored. bro having listened to both sides of the divide, I discovered that the IGBO needs political surgery, all dis clamour Fri Biafra started when jonathan lost the election, the question is when did an Ijaw man became an Igbo man, u guyz r still bittered about the Buhari's victory. even the SS have forgotten dia was election dis year. I became reserved about Igbo coz my best friend in camp was an Igbo guy, we started eating in dsame plate, discussing personal issues even after camp we still call ourselves, send cards to each oda. what I've discovered is dat a larger percentage of Igbos r tribalistic and dts d only region that sees odas as threat. Igbos needs political surgery, few understands politics in dat region. |

MESSAGE TO MY IGBO BROTHERS Please my fellow igbo brothers and sisters, where is our "second niger bridge"? Where is our "enugu international airport"? Where is Ndigbo in nigeria's politics today? Run up to the 2015 elections, Ndigbo said: ......" we will swim and sink with Jonathan "....... Please where is Jonathan today? Jonathan's ship sunk in March 28th and today he's a fisherman in Bayelsa state. After ensuring that my people have become completely sidelined politically as a result of using his divisive politics of religion and ethnicism, today Ndigbo suddenly finds themselves manacled and relegated to chasing after dead and inconsequential sectional rhetorics like "RADIO BIAFRA" at the expense of sound political brinkmanship. This is the consequences of follow-follow type of politics. The type my Ghanaian friend used to call "politics of blind leading the blind"! It's time for Ndigbo to wake up , recover and rework their lost political machine that once made them a power bloc. Enough of follow-follow.... Wake up wake up Ndigbo! Ndigbo tetanu n'ura ooooo!!! Tinubu finally broke silence....Reply haters. MY NAME, NEGATIVE NEWS ABOUT ME IS FINANCIAL MARKET - Tinubu I set my goals and objectives in accordance with my vision. I study them and strategically execute them. My detractors discuss my successes and failure because they have nothing to execute. I am in the news because I am working. Nigerians discuss active men in the field. Mentioning any negative news about me will double the wealth of any news media that published it. My name today is a financial market for journalists. Not even elected politicians get the publicity I'm enjoying. My comrades, go and work till mentioning your name becomes a source of increased wealth for someone. Even my weaknesses create wealth for vendors'. |
