Just today I spoke to about 15 gwari Christian men and 8 Yoruba Christians in Niger state. I told them to get their PVC and to vote in defense of their faith. I told them to collect whatever any one offers them and still vote them out. While I talked a Yoruba woman opened her bag and showed me obidatti sticker and the rest, both the gwaris and yorubas told me they would be voting obidatti because he's a Christian. And somebody is in ijebu ode apportioning votes. It's like this in most Christian community in the north. There is no northern state that doesn't have a good percentage of indigenous Christians and this Christians have seen she in the hands of Muslim rulers. A member of my church in ungwan musu once won councilor of his Ward cos they are predominantly Christians. They invited him, told him he won but could only be given on the condition that he turned to Muslim which he declined and forfeited the councilorshp. Bari area in Kano are mostly Christians and they have an Anglican diocese with an indigenous bishop at a time.
Leave this peop guy. I have been in the north since 1990. Some people will learn a lesson next month.
