You are right because almost always, the friendship is pure, devoid of ulterior motives and you are not under any form of pressure to do anything.

koboko69: Woman Who Bragged On Social Media About Her New Job At A Luxury Store Sacked Before First Shift
An online video of how a young woman was sacked by a renowned company in the UK company even before she began her first shift has got many people talking.
Recently employed by Harrods, the lady identified as Akorede but known on TikTok as @korrxss, disclosed that she had not yet started her first shift when she received the notice of termination from the company.
Before the viral video of her dismissal, she had gone viral with a previous video in which she talked enthusiastically about her job at the UK-based luxury department store.
In that first video, she suggested that her social class has shot up because of her new employment, stating at one point:
āIām dealing with the richest of the rich, who are you dealing with [giggles]?ā
@korrxss
Lmk if u want tips on how to get innnn š„°š„°š¤
But in the second video, her story changes. Sounding disappointed, she told her followers on TikTok that she didnāt even do her first shift at Harrods before she got fired for going on social media.
Akorede wondered who may have sent the footage to the employer after she was fired. She gave the situation further thought and concluded that it taught her an important lesson to avoid posting pleasant news on the internet.
āI got fired! Before I even did my first shift, I got fired. Someone must have sent the video ācos I donāt know how they must have found it. I took that video after I attended my induction; Iāve not even attended my first shift.
āThat was really sad. I learnt a really valuable lesson; donāt ever tell good news to people or the internet, keep it to yourself. Upon reflection, that was kind of a shitty video; I was just joking and was just excited,ā she said in part.

Kingdemu: Guys, something weird happened to me. Earlier in October, I funded my domiciliary account with $50 to make some purchases on AliExpress. I bought about 4 items totalling $39 which I've all taken delivery of. I emptied the account by converting the remaining dollars to naira using my banking app.
Just 3 days ago, I was surprised to check my domiciliary app to see the $39 refunded. I requested for my bank statement and there was no trace of any purchase on AE. It just showed as if the money was not debited at all. I tried converting $10 to naira and to my surprise the transaction went smoothly. Account wey na $0.03 before oo. I tried converting the rest and it went thru but when I tried transferring out from the naira current account it showed "Transaction unsuccessful. Security violation".
Yesterday I mustered courage and walked into the bank to complain and they checked my account, both the current and the domiciliary which was the source of the funds, and they said there was nothing wrong. The lady chatted with someone who I think was from their HQ and after series of checks for like 10mins, they concluded my account must have been flagged because of an email change I did 3 months back when making the $50 deposit into the domiciliary account (the current and the dorm are all linked with same ID). They asked if I didn't use the account since then and I said no. She told me she'd pull the reference for the email change and send to HQ so I fit waka. I was told to go and try making transfer after an hour.
Ladies and Gentlemen, after an hour, I tried and I was able to transfer all the money out successfully. So basically I made a purchase of $39 from AE for free.
as we are approaching 2024 make sure you are clean of fraudulent activities as you just subconsciously did!
If you no come start to dey progress! No come blame village people cause na you use your hand invite them to scatter your destiny

L1TTLE: For Nigerians married or dating a foreigner with good intentions, not scamming, how did you meet him or her?
I always wanted biracial kids and a pretty Caucasian wife but I haven't been lucky finding someone from another race or country and I'm at that age(30s) where you have to get married like asap, tried social media and they all found it creepy, sometimes they read my text and don't reply, some block me instantly and to be honest I don't blame them due to our international reputation.
Don't talk about looks because I don't look bad and I have seen so many instances where those girls fall in love with guys that are nothing close to handsome, they're not like our naija babes, but getting one is the problem.
during schooling and since then she is been the most wonderful š of my life š š„° she has visited naija women me twice now and always worry when I coming back to naija
She Is always worrying that maybe those useless piece of shit (naija women) will steal me away from her when traveling back to Nigeria But I always assured her that "fear not! My seeds will not mix with those ungrateful self entitled piece of shiit
Guys on a serious note! Forget Nigeria women and date a foreigners! From my experience! Preferably Asian women! But you see America and British women! Those people are beyond damage but they're still pockets of good women with the exception of Naija women!
DesChyko: The scene of the runway was abuzz with fashion models traipsing the runway during the Aba Fashion Week, holding in Aba, Abia State.
Suddenly, everyone held their breath and all heads turned in the direction of the start of the runway carpet.
A young boy, clad in a red shirt, ragged jean shorts and bright orange flipflops had mounted the runway. People looked on in confusion at the uninvited child, poised to walk down the runway, just as the models had done.
Unfazed, Kingsley Joseph from Ebonyi State, began the walk, as daring as can be, and gave his best rendition just as he had seen the models before him do. The silence, soon turned to cheers, and a rousing applause, as the highly entertained crowd marvelled at his performance. His antics went viral.
Soon enough, he got the attention of Abia-born philanthropist, Chima Anyaso who gave him full scholarship to pursue his education. What's more? He was subsequently seen in choice locations, having classy meals, signing endorsement deals.
It appears a demonstration of strong will turned out to be good fortune for the lad.
GreatAchiever1: I love watching cartoons. But as I grew older, I realize my responsibility as a man and I had to slowly give up binge watching cartoons... But once once I dey sha tune in abeg.
mr responsibility are you the only person with responsibility in this word Why are you behaving like a typical cave men
I and my woman do go out to watch cartoons at the cinemas! Or at homes and we still attend to our responsibilities
DyshApp: A married man has anonymously taken to social media to complain about his wifeās addiction to watching cartoons with their children.
According to him, his wife was always excited to watch and sing along to the cartoon with their kids and she would narrate the stories to them if they missed them.
According to the man, something must be wrong with his wife. While admitting that she has not failed in her roles as a wife and mother to his kids, he reiterated his worry that he felt she should have grown past cartoons.
He appealed for help to fix the cartoon problem.
In his words: "I feel like something is wrong, I don't really get her sometimes. She doesn't even watch the movies I want us to watch together unless I really encourage her. She acts like me not watching those their cartoons with them, I'm missing out on something great.
āMy wife, 37 years old, enjoys watching cartoon even more than our kids. When I say cartoon, I mean animated movies. Our first boy is 14 years old down to our last who is currently 4 years old. Theyāve turned the home into a cartoon home. They are soo addicted, they sing their songs, do their dances and discuss those things all the time. My wife at her age will be running as if something strange was happening and she forgets herself to be an adult sometimes. Iāve tried to explain to her that I donāt really like it, I donāt complain because they are being happy but, I donāt understand my wifeās addiction. Even when the kids arenāt around, sheāll be watching animated movies alone.
Once they get home, sheās going to narrate all she watched to them and even demonstrate with actions some funny/emotional scenes. I feel like something is wrong, I donāt really get her sometimes. She doesnāt even watch the movies I want us to watch together unless I really encourage her. She acts like me not watching those their cartoons with them, Iām missing out on something great. Is there something I can do to help her? Itās somehow bothering me.
Kindly note that, sheās fully employed and still does her duties as a wife and a mother. I donāt have any problem on that side, I just feel sheās addicted to animated movies when actually, she has grown pass it.ā

RidorAdeola: "Shiloh, a feast for all people" - Bishop Oyedepo
Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, popularly known as Winners Chapel, has declared Shiloh "a feast for all people". In his pre-Shiloh message, the prominent cleric quoted Isaiah 25:6 which said 'The Lord shall prepare a feast for all people upon this mountain'.

village people dey on that guy case if not say his mama dey pray for am. Village people for don devour that ediot op since!
Why will someone go abroad and be looking for Nigeria woman! If only he know how those White are desperately trying to get a black man Speaking from experience
I got pissed off when I read about the Asian man. Asians are in no position to speak on Africans in the UK! They're the most despicable demographic.
that guy is a foolish guy! That guy doesn't know how those Asian people are! Those people are the real racists and the way them hate blacks with passion!
And that ediot you quoted just give in to their thoughts. Mind you. No foreigners will voice that kind of thought to black person without critical thinking.
I am not in the diaspora but I stumbled on a thread where someone made a sensible comment about this same issue.
They said something to the effect of everyone being too smart because of their papers/stay, nobody wants to compromise or make sacrifices, for the sake of an authentic relationship because too much sense is worrying all of you there.Na una know wetin dey worry all of you sha!
From my observations, there's a tendency in most of you japarians to gravitate towards self conceit and a vain superiority complex, where you start to think you're better than other Nigerians because;
1. You've lived in obodo for XYZ number of years or you have papers, so even new immigrant Nigerians are like an affront to you guys (meaning their very presence in your host country is like an offence)
2. You think with your papers you have finally arrived what can any Nigerian offer you again. But your papers alone don't provide healthy social interactions, good friendships or companionship, laughter and fun moments with others.
I see that superiority complex even here on NL with folks who haven't lived overseas for 2 years, I smile and shake my head, thinking to myself, poverty is really not a good thing. When you grow up privileged very little about the white man trips you to a point where you start to insult or look down on your country and fellow country men. Because you grow up knowing what your own people are made of and capable of. It's not so much about privilege alone, but having a healthy dose and sense of self worth, self esteem and self love.
My friend engaged an asian cabbie in conversation in the UK, while riding in his car. The cabbie told her it is very disappointing to see the way we Africans/Nigerians in particular behave overseas. He said we are quick to throw away our cultural values to embrace western ones, we are the ones who are quick to talk back to parents and disrespect them (that was an incident he witnessed in his cab with a Nigerian family)
Whereas he sees Indians, Chinese and some Asians hold onto their cultural values and practices, maintaining the family unit, and refusing to let the west negatively influence them. I think the cabbie's experience and narrative, may help you understand why you are having a hard time finding a Nigerian date.
oga channel this your talk to a particular tribe
You will never seen a northern abroad misbehaving anyhow. So don't talk what you don't know
And mind you! Those Asian people especially Indians are way more useless and disrespectful in diaspora as you think. Africa are way trying and better we even bring our culture abroad.
I wonder why you just give in to there thought easily! Don't you know those people really hate you!
You foolish entity coming here to write jargons because of some stupid Asian
Wisegeek01: Here's the opinion you wont see anywhere on the internet . .. and you are hearing it for the first time Sit tight !!
The phrase what are you brining to the table .. has grossly been misunderstood, some men that even ask the question don't even know why they are asking the question, while on the other hand some women fly into a fit of rage or keep dodging the question, why they are angry they don't even know, its just a psychological impulse,
first of all it is not mandatory for the lady to actually bring finance into the mix but it helps so that should not be the centre of the question, so the men asking and referring to finance really shouldn't do that, focus on what she is supposed to bring
.. its not her job to bring finance, so if you are referring to that you are asking the wrong contextual question, a lady actually has what she should bring to the table, but sadly not a lot of ladies have taken their time to sit down and think about the question, because the are always offended or defensive, its just a simple question, that you need to understand, its not you mdfkn job to bring finance, that is what the man should bring to the table,
what the lady brings to the table .. ranges from great values Emotional Intelligence Attention to Detail Organizational Skills Nurture and Care Empathy and Compassion Collaborative Spirit Multitasking Abilities Intuition Social Skills Diplomacy Support
when you list these features and tell the man you posses these traits now it's your turn to ask him what does he bring to the table ... he should have most of these below finance protection security Leadership Decision-Making Skills Stability Emotional Support Problem-Solving Abilities Initiative Adaptability Sense of Humor Integrity Shared Responsibilities
marriage or relationship is team effort, not competition the next time i hear that question in the wrong context I fit flog person
another finished man just go release from his cave
All what you mentioned that a woman bring to the table are all bunches of useless stuff that won't benefit a man
You just actually proven that a woman got nothing to bring to the table
GVTAsiwaju: When I was with my wife I never cheated on her, loved her and she knows... I think the only issue was my unstable finance then and her parents ungodly attitude that really irritates me( I should have managed it better though). We have seperated and her divorce case in court but I don't stop thinking about her against all odds. I have dated NUMEROUS ladies while she left yet it doesn't help me forget, whereas, she never look back...
Divorced persons, how do you forget! I want to feel love again. I cannot marry or be with anyone if I don't love them, sex is truly overrated. Your suggestions pls.
when we are talking about naija women and their unlovable attitudes! You where the one who was doing captain marvel defender of the vagina race! Now you have enter.
If you know weti good for you Mr simp! Block her on all your contacts list. Delete her number and start looking for small small girls to f.vck without emotional baggage added.
Then when you are ready to settle down again! Find a foreigner to marry
No be by force say you must marry naija woman as if them use naija women take fear for Una. Many beautiful women with common sense are all over world
It is far better to deal with shit as you called it with a white woman, than to deal with hell with a Nigerian girl who have absolutely nothing else to offer in a relationship.
The White women offers so much (and such shit is highly valuable, useful and appreciated) can the same thing be said about Nigeria girls?
Meanwhile noticed how you carefully avoided my questions?
we have never seen or heard of any foreigner talking about rushing Nigerian women, could this because they know Nigeria girls have absolutely nothing to offer? š¤
