The only thing a prenup can't decide is child custody and child support. I have a uncle (lawyer) in France, and he says property wise, a prenuptial agreement can protect you 100% in any western country, but child custody is determined by the judge, and child support by your income and number of children until the spouse remarries.

NB: if the court decides you're the better option for the children and grants you custody, you don't get to pay anything.
