Oga they can afford to make mistakes cos the system will alert them. If a driver makes a mistake while driving multiple lives might be lost.. And when you collect your weekly 40k rental what's left for the driver isn't up to 2k5
Everyone wants to make money but that doesn't mean we shouldn't have empathy for our fellow human beings.
So your argument is Uber drivers pay check should be much higher than those working in the bank?

How about those that private drivers that earn 20k monthly.

Or school bus drivers that earn 20k monthly?

Hii Boss, thanks for all ur contributions to this page. I intend to sell my 2007 Accord to buy Peugeot 407. I intend traveling to Abuja to get it. Kindly assist with what I should look out for on the car when buying. Looking forward to ur reply. Thanks
You are going on a suicide mission.

You hear ogunvic telling you to call him, that the so called 407 have 6 versions, out of that 6 only 1 is good.

If you have money go for a popular product incase ur mission fail.

Are you still working on the national union of Uber drivers?

The one you advise drivers on how to frustrate owners?

The one you intend been the chairman?

This ur quote is to make drivers be on ur side, so u can win them over and be the national union chairman.

These people have no empathy.

They think this work is easy. They don't know operating a machine demands optimum fitness
Fitness to drive?

Even sitting in a banking hall from 8am-6pm requires mental fitness, still those doing it appreciate their paycheck of less than 2500 daily.

why you keep trying to manipulate the figure, you know that is over estimated.

With 28k fuel you should be hitting over 130k.

My estimate is based on Toyota corolla.

Pls how much fuel will the driver use to earn 80k?
It depend on the vehicle you are using.

With corolla 15k fuel will fetch you 80k or more.

With taxify you will make more.

80k challenge, uber will deduct 20k, fuel around 15k, car wash 3500. Balance 41,500. Data subscription and other miscellaneous expenses are still there.
Less I forget, the few weeks that you drove, did you do 150k challenge? If not then you're lazy too grin
I have never done 150k during my driving days. And mostly I drive only Friday night, then Saturday/Sunday.

I always drive only 10 hours Anytime I hit the road.

The maximum I have earned was 95k net , and I drove for only 5days to achieve it.

I only spend 3k on 4gig Etisalat data monthly.

jayooh:
U failed to factor in other minor expenses like car washing, freshening, and little little maintenance
Let's start with admitting that 80k weekly challenge is feasible.

@ least if you can't meet up with wat Romeo3 and Co could achieved, then you can do half.

That means your weekly earning of 22k is guaranteed after rental and fuel money.

22x4=88 ur monthly salary.

Data=5k a month

Air fresher is 700 monthly.

Car wash= aboki in my area wash for 2500 monthly some even wash for 2k

And you are left with 81k monthly minimum.

Any maintenance is done by owner.

Don't be deceived by people here, some drivers here in this forum are on 45k weekly rental.

Talk is really cheap like they say grin

I had to go through your previous post to view your experience when you were driving....

Was thinking you'll be making so much money weekly... Was shocked when all I saw was you complaining... .at a point you even stated you were going to look for another job. grin

I saw you saying difficult to make money in this business, talk more of paying partners grin

Now Cos you're no longer driving, story don change. grin Na wa o
That period I was complaining was all about politics. That period Uber was actually offering 20k to complete 30/40 trips. So it normally add up.

We are in a Uber drivers forum, and we intentionally try to create panic in the driving business, and see if that will shake them, but the stupid Uber completely ignore us.

You see wat is happening here of trying to make owners take below 30k is all plan work. When owners post of car rental, drivers and those fleet managers, intentionally attack the person, making the person feel he is actually doing something evil, but the attack is all about personal interest.

Im here now exposing them, they feel like killing me.

LOL, I'm here. I will say it again, I was making money when I drove with Uber.

All I was saying then was to generate negative thoughts about Uber and see if the pressure will affect Uber and make them change the price. But the stupid Romeo3 keep defending Uber, and he says price reduction is the best thing that happen to him.

Then taxify becomes a far better option, and I quit Uber forever.

Ha. 80k how much will be left for petrol when you've taken your 40k rental feehuh
Petrol 4k everyday 4×7=28k
So driver gets 12khuh?
With corolla you won't use more than 3k fuel a day. And you will do 80k in 6days meaning 3x6=18+40=58-80= 22k left.

@least you go home with 20k weekly. That's not bad?

My advice to those demanding 40 weekly. Drive the car urself and see its not modern day slavery. You will just end up changing drivers weekly. Give your driver an amount that's reasonable. You put your vehicle at ra higher risk should u demand for such
You can only advise people when u invest.

When u keep saying drive it yourself, it seems like a big deal, 90% of partners are refusing to release their cars to drivers, they drive themselves. You can imagine when u drive only weekends Saturday/Sundays you can make beyond 40k, and with u driving yourself the car will last longer.

Plenty of drivers are looking and praying to find a good vehicle to drive.

If u have corolla minimum u should do is 40k, even ogunvic is doing 50k with 407 bc is less fuel.

If drivers are doing 150k challenge weekly, then 80k a week shouldn't be a challenge.

the period you drove, you were always coming here to complain, you saw what drivers experience first hand. What exactly is your matter??
I made my money. And I enjoyed my driving.

Wat are the things drivers are facing?

Insult from bad riders?

Traffic?

Whatever u face is part of the job, if you can't do it quit and go do something else.

Import one of your brothers from the village and give the car to him. It's easy to ask for 40k. Drive the car yourself for one week and feel what drivers are facing. Modern day slavery
When u invest, then u can start talking.

When drivers are doing 150k weekly challenge, you are here crying over another person investment.

I just laughed whenever you guys says drive it yourself and see what drivers are facing.

Plenty of owners are no longer renting out their vehicles, only those with fleet of cars rent out, the 40k that is too much for u, can be made in 2days. Saturdays/Sundays.

Glad humans are not God else it would be be instant judgement to some people. Demanding 40k weekly tells alot about your personality and same person will enforce repairs on the driver. Anyway that's not my biz..

Meanwhile, kudos to everyone working hard to earn a Living. Kudos to those taking their time to teach newbies on how to be strategic and proactive. May God bless you all.
Why not just invest in Uber and give ur cars out, maybe like 25k weekly, it's only when u can invest in buying cars then u can start talking.

If skills or knowledge wasn't needed uber wouldn't be holding training and retraining sessions.
There's more to it than the way you put it if you want to be effective and hir the high figures weekly
90% of Uber training is all about professionalism,10% is about app operation.

Making money is about how many hours you spend online. The more you are online the more you are likely going to jam surge.

You see whenever Romeo3 & ogunvic41 make money they flaunt it, whenever they are average they keep quiet.

The way ogunvic is acting is like it's a serious matter that you need more personal training to make money out of it. While will he come here and claim new drivers can't deliver?

Few months back, I was a new driver, and made money for myself without any ebook or counseling.

I will say it again on that damn app and hit the road, and riders will connect u.

Driving on uber or taxify is more than moving car about or knowing Lagos roads...
Guys that drives well and know roads are not even making money, that's y they complain...
Its professional driving it involves a lot of skills...
Stop trying to make it a big deal driving in any of this platform.

You don't need any damn skills, all you need is to on that app and hit the road.

When I drove with Uber couple of months ago, I just on my app from my home, and from there I connect riders until I get tired, then I go back home, no skills, all you need to open Google map and practice how it work.

This ogunvic is only trying to act as a semi god in driving, so people will call him and his head will become bigger, well that's human nature.
CelebritiesRe: Tagbo’s Death: Police Investigating Davido As His Response Is Suspicious - CP by entparrot(f): 6:15am On Oct 16, 2017
NoFavors:
My Question is, is Davido the only person with him that night? If no, then why single out only Davido as suspect?
In this case davido should be among the suspect under detention.
Reasons:

1) He lied, claiming mutual friend informed him of tagbo's death. Which raised serious suspicion.

2) his employees dump the dead guy @ the hospital according to the hospital cctv footage.

3) his security vehicle Toyota hilux was used to dump the dead guy.

4) autopsy report revealed the guy died of suffocation.

When you suffocate, you struggle for breath, either because you're being choked to death or?

5) according to divido post, he acknowledged asking his driver dropping the guy in the hospital, something he did to help the guy in good faith.

my question, did he allow his security detail to use his Toyota hilux to drop the guy, so incase there is stop & search by the police on the road, they will easily scale through, bc police will believe is a vip passing?

Another question, with all the exposure and money he has in this world, what is he afraid of? When he is helping the guy in good faith. Why did he have to lie? Why did his boys dump the dead guy and be on the run?

God bless you bro. We've not even seen anyone driving a corolla on UBER to comment on this. My friend that drives a corolla registered it on UBER after he lost his job, after changing the the shock absorber withing d space of 8 months, he sold it off to buy a Honda civic. If u are going to defend a car, use UBER experience as a yardstick, not bank or private usage experience.
I like 407 shape and interior, they are really beautiful, but in Nigeria is less than 1% of cars in Nigeria, the spare parts you can hardly find in Lagos market.

And when you try to resell nobody is willing to buy.

But Toyota even if the car cannot start or it break into 2. Somebody will be interested.

LET A TOYOTA DRIVER/PARTNER WHO IS MORE SUCCESSFUL IN UBER/TAXIFY BUSINESS SHOW UP AND COMPETE WITH MY EARNINGS... I EARN OVER 1MILLION NAIRA ON UBER/TAXIFY IN A MONTH WITH MY PEUGEOT 407, I CAN AFFORD A CAMRY OR COROLLA BUT THEY ARE NOT THE BEST FOR THIS BUSINESS...
Continue fooling yourself, you earn over 1m a month driving 407, so ur earning is now 250k a week.

You have 5 cars 407 in Uber, is like the little change u r getting driving people around Lagos, has started touching ur brain.

How do you want Toyota driver to compete with u? To be on the road 24hours? There are few 407 mechanic in Lagos, and when ur headlamp or rear lights damage you won't find it in the market.

Finally, we are not buying ur 407, go to kaduna and sell them for 300k, that's what they are paying for 407 in the north.

Someone is trying to manipulate us into buying peageuot cars.

Bc peageuot dealer gave them good incentives if they manage to find a buyer, that's the reason they started praising peageuot cars, when nobody ask them.

Romeo3 the chief agent is using Honda accord evil spirit.

ogunvic is the ijebu that purchased the car, bc is so cheap, then the importer pleaded with him to help him sell, he will be given 20% incentives.
