I'm this part of the world once somebody dies, he becomes innocent.

What again do u need to add to 40 shots of tequila to make u intoxicated ?

The f00ls that went to drop him were probably just careless in handling the drunk nigga and costed him his life.

They are all to be blamed.
What if 40shots of tequila statement, was made up to blame the guy for killing himself. What if he drank only few shots and unfortunately someone add some substance that made him intoxicated, remember the dead guy can't defend himself.

Don't jump to conclusion. I'm only trying to judge from different angle.

Life goes on cool
Let's think the other way.

There is nothing wrong with 35yrs old hanging out to have some fun.

What if someone add some substance to his drink? That made him so intoxicated?

There are people you trust so much that might want to harm you.

You never can tell, pray not to be a victim.

My assignment for you is to go to Niger state and Abuja.
Come back and tell me if your statement highlighted in bold is correct.
I guess we need to broaden our horizon or knowledge on any subject, then get the fact before concluding.
Someone may forgive you for misleading them or giving wrong info, but you may find it difficult forgiving yourself on the same issue.
Google is always your friend whenever you feel too ashamed to ask someone around you. wink
How big is Niger state market.? Do they really have the purchase power? Or they will purchase it @ a very ridiculous rate?

I don't need any Google to know Peugeot is faced out of Nigeria.

Most of the Peugeot you see on Abuja road, are government purchase...

Don't allow this people to fool you ooo. The best bet is Toyota, incase Uber fumble, you sell and invest in another stuff.

Don't let this people deceive u into buying 407, Peugeot has been faced out of Nigeria by Toyota, you only find few mechanics that deal with Peugeot, and what is the reselling value, incase you are done with Uber or taxify.

Guys! Calm down. Taxify said they stopped the previous bonus because guys were requesting themselves so as to complete numbers of trips.

The guarantee bonus is to serve another purpose but unfortunately the calculation is confusing to us.

Talking as if you own office in taxify. What's ur interest? Better face ur driving and stop acting as if you're nurtw chairman.

My vocabulary is also simple. Will you return same with interest? Cos investing 35k with zero interest makes zero sense.

If you are looking for a venture with zero risks then Uber is a no no.

That same interest you are trying to protect can be shattered with just one accident.

That's when insurance comes in play.

Any serious driver will pay the deposit to start work. If u don't have the money, go and borrow from ur village meeting, they will help you.

So I started driving uber today and all I can say from what I've read here is that people need to calm down. Demanding 40k per week from a driver isn't fair. The work he will have to put in to make that money is not beans. Uber will take 25% fuel cost is there also, what's now left? Started driving at 3pm closed 10 I made only 5k after uber deductions bought petrol 2000 naira what's left?
Maybe it's because I'm nerw that's why I made small money. But to be honest it's not easy..used to think it was. Today ó put myself in the drivers shoes and i saw a whole new perspective.
Just ask ur village people to buy you a car, then in exchange u give them ur land. With that u won't pay 40k weekly.

Hello guys, fine Uber has sort of made it difficult for guys to break even with their price reduction and also the amount they deduct from the trip earnings is quite high.

But truth be told the attitudes of drivers aren't different from Uber as an organization, cause most partner driver are only out to look for what they can get 100% , while they jump to the next car once they are done wrecking your car.

Have only joined Uber as owner/partner for roughly 3months, gave the car to a supposed experienced e-hailing cab driver, started with N40k per month after just 2 weeks said he cant cope that the e-hailing thing is not that profitable as it used to be...

He negotiated N35k, which I agreed, fast forward to yesterday, he has dropped the car(2011 TOYOTA COROLLA) with my mechanic. Why? two front shock absorbers are gone, engine seat dismantled. I surely wld fix the car and keep it moving.

Information I got is that dude is out there looking for the next vehicle to ride...

How is he different from Uber as company that's out here to maximize their profit, and him that his only concern is to make money at the detriment of someone else's hard earned money.

LETS ALL BE FAIR.
Is all about interest. Drivers are interested in good vehicles, if ur vehicle no good or problematic u don't expect them to struggle with u, so when ur vehicle is in good shape make sure u maximize ur profit.

In as much as you can criticize Uber, the riders have nothing to do with it. If the shoe was on the other side of the leg, I'm sure many folks here will use Uber too.
Well, I'm talking of been fair, most riders enjoy drivers been treated as slave, good riders think of fair price, and even have pity.

All Uber riders deserve the worst.

If you don't know anything about the law, just keep quiet.

Wait until the day the police will connive with someone and accuse u then the judge will issue a tough bail condition that will keep you in prison forever.

Granting of bail doesn't mean u will run away, u can still be jailed if found guilty, judges just want you to be free, so you can defend yourself without been under pressure, and bail conditions is just to make sure you come to court and you won't be on the run.

You can start by investing in buying plenty of cars and drop ur own fee.

Are you saying I should reduce the price to 30k, he is really sincere but from what I observe, he is making exact fee he will remit after fuel deduction and commission.Someone advise me to do hire purchase
In transport business, make sure you maximize ur profit as soon as as possible, there comes a time your car will be old, and you won't make any thing out of it, rather it will frustrate u and take ur money. Don't allow drivers to take advantage of u.

If ur car is always given problem, no driver will stick with u, they will even add to the frustration and use the car the little it can and make money for them self, after that they will drop ur car adding more to ur frustration.

There are plenty of drivers looking to rent ur car for 40k weekly.

Interesting on how you were able to come to this conclusion so fast without any premise. You didn't even bother to find out how long the driver defaulted or what happened to the driver.

He could be ill or Maybe it's his first week, we don't know but you are quick to push a fellow human being like you to the dust. Tomorrow, y'all come here shouting our government don't care about us.

Remember to make a decision, you have to listen to the two sides bro.

YOU ARE BIGGER THAN THIS
There is no 2ways about it, no investigation needed, no pay no car...

If you want to rent a car in other countries you pay b4 u take the car.

The driver is actually doing himself, not the owner, plenty of drivers are looking for car to drive.

That's the reason those old generation politicians easily pollute our mind, by calling anyone that rise against them as thief or corrupt.

Those old politicians want power to remain in their cycle, if power goes somewhere else, they might be forgotten and become irrelevant.

He fiercely went against obj 3rd time agenda, knowing fully well he stand to gain more, by remaining loyal.

60 trips on uber is no longer a challenge.

it is not wise to do more than 60 trips on uber right now, until they introduce a guarantee for those of us who do a minimum of 75 trips.

the remaining 15 trips will come from taxify.
Why did taxify allow this car wrecker to join them, I thought you will join taxify only when someone show you they can earn better than you with taxify?

Well, it's all about the money. If Uber is really good you won't even think of alternative.

In your quest to achieve that car, all the best Jacky.
Car TalkRe: Lagos Begins Compulsory Computerized Vehicle Inspection by entparrot(f): 9:08am On Aug 31, 2017
sooperrescue:
You are right but the law since 1997 states that before a car is registered, it must be certified roadworthy. The era of certifying a car that you have never seen is over. That was corruption at the highest and so when the Vio were on the road, they were shocked to discover rickety vehicles with roadworthy certicates. I once witnessed an accident involving 3 cars, the last car to join the group was a G63 that rammed into the tiny light Camry. The 3 vehicles had no insurance, the Gwagon had no brakes. The owner of the tiny light had a fake insurance policy. This is what the new policy is meant to correct. Genuine insurance, good braking system and renewed confidence on the road. Tinted permit will be issued at the center and the police bcmr will be done at the center thereby creating an enhanced national security infrastructure which hitherto never existed.
Anytime Lagos state government goes to the media to say something all of you believe them.

Lasg commissioners and directors are bunch of liars.

I have registered 3 vehicles since they started the new fee for roadworthiness, none of those vehicles goes through inspection and the vehicle registration is done mile 12 office the only thing that change is the fee.

Ministry of agriculture is running A daily advert on the radio regarding stray dogs, the commissioner issued a statement giving us numbers to call when we come across stray dogs, when we called we are told to kill the dog by ourself.
We even called the commissioner, for more than 7 weeks now, nothing will be done.

We even twitted lasg no response. What this people are interested is how to generate money they have no interest of the masses.

I believe all these Nigerian celebrities should shut the fvck up.. They don't know a damn thing about the country they are in....

Look at Beyonce, Bill Gates, Warren Buffer and Rockefeller.. In fact look at Mark Zuckerberg a man who is worth more than 50bn and he promised to give half of his wealth during his lifetime....

Rockefeller the world richest man gave a lot to research and education... Look at Jackie Chan building school and giving thousands of people scholarships and also funding and participating in sports...

here we have Nigerian celebrities who only show off their wealth and make us feel poor.. Who show off their gold chains, cars and houses and still blame the government...

Psquare is worth more than $100m... which is over 30bn... and yet he still falls back to the government... Even in American celebrities and billionaires and entrerprenuers play a huge role in building the nation. With their charity organizations and giving...

And yet even this is what we have here in Nigeria...

Rich man is blaming government and even poor man is blaming government.. No one wants to give, unless it is for show
Go and work hard, when you make ur own money u help government pay salaries.

i only drove that car for 73 hrs only last week on uber.... that translates to ONLY 10.4 hrs of driving on average.

now, who is wrecking whose car?

stop quoting me if you do not know how to argue with facts and figures... i am not on your level.
Oga I agree, I'm not on ur level, you drove 18hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

And you are able to make that because uber pity you and gave you promo, any day Uber wont consider promo, you are doom.

For car owners, you see wat drivers are posting, if you go fool yourself and take 30k weekly you just open office for the driver, the minimum amount you should ask is 40k.
