This is getting too much.. Nysc dont even check and investigate the places,schools,firms they post corp members.. i was posted to one school in sagamu ogun state.. it was an eye sore.. the school is covered with grasses and the total number of students suffering their aint even upto 10.. with deteriorated facilities,the principal dont even have a sit,pit toilet and the rest.. Nysc dont even bother checking the places before they send a corp member to those areas.. this is ridiculous..

I intend to write an open letter to address the lacuna in NYSC scheme, it is so appalling that the scheme has become a shadow of itself. As an outfall of the civil war, graduates were supposed to serve the nation but what do we have? they are instead used to enrich some unscrupulous Citizens and non-citizens. From personal research, I uncovered that most of the schools (privately owned) do not employ qualified teachers instead opt for corpers paying them peanut who they also change annually upon passing out thereby saving their running/operational cost. This is clear case of exploitation and abuse of the scheme which has indirectly denied the qualified teachers the opportunity to practice their profession.

If NYSC must continue, it should be optional. Since the objective is to foster the love and unity washed away by the civil war by unifying a cross section of Nigerians from all regions under a roof/State. Orientation camp is enough to achieve that. Many made contacts across the tribes which they would treasure for years. We don't need a year to meet people and know them. Instead Orientation camp should be increased to 4weeks after which corpers get their certificate and move on. Enough of PPA that adds little or no value to the nation and corpers but instead the business owners. I understand that some corpers get retain but sincerely, what percentage of corpers get retained by reasonable and good companies?


The topic on how NYSC officers are being enriched through the procurement of orientation materials (kits, food etc) is for another day.

What is your take on the NYSC scheme? . Your opinion sure counts.

We the youths are tired of wasting one whole year suffering..

APPLE PRODUCTS : No doubts, these products are the highest sold brand in nigeria presently, even if they are quite expensive but they sell more than tecno and all others..With the release of new iPhone series every year, Nigerian iPhone enthusiasts will always want to upgrade even without minding the cost. it got an ios operating system. lovely camera etc.


2.SAMSUNG : We have samsung Edge,grand prime,galaxy core prime,galaxy note.. these ones got the good specifications you actually need in a phone. its affordable compared to iphone.

this is not blood or anythin..these girl got future.shes in school.. having that baby can lead to so many things.. shes gon drop out of school, her mum hardly take care of them..how will she cope>?

When he was doing it raw he didnt know it will lead to that. Why terminating the life of an innocent child. If his parents had terminated his own would he be alive today to get another person pregnant. He should take to his fate. What if the lady lost her life in that process. I concur with the guy's choice.

Early yesterday evening, i got a call from my friends girl telling me to help her talk to my friend concerning his decision hes about to take,
when i asked her what was wrong, she was at first reluctant to tell me until i persuaded her on phone before she broke out that she is 3 weeks pregnant for my friend and when she told him, the guy asked him to keep the baby while shes refusing on keeping the pregnancy because of some certain reasons like she needed to finish her school cos shes in school at the moment,and her mum which is the only one sponsoring her in school and catering for the family cant afford taking care of her and the baby as the home expenses alone is too much.

Now she told the boyfriend about removing the baby while the guy is telling her to keep it and he wont give her any money for D&C which will actually might lead to breakup.
meanwhile this guy just finished school and just got a menial job of less than 50k,he is about going for NYSC and hes telling a girl to keep the pregnancy.. im wondering why..i have tried talking to him on phone which isnt enough which i intend going to see him personally to discuss that out with him..

but i would love you guys opinion about this.. should the girl keep the baby or follow her on choice ?
