SARS have outlived it's usefulness, it ought to be ban with a complete police reforms and restructuring of all police tactical units to correct the wrongs ...the Nigeria police is currently worst than anything called corruption... They have increased their salaries many times to help keep their integrity , but yet they keep increasing their demand for wealth , which has now become a competition among themselves on who owns the biggest cars and houses ...go to the police barracks to see them, infact some are living large outside the barracks , all these wealth are gotten via illegal means , they send police to people with questionable wealth, yet u think the criminals are afraid of the SARS...the fact is that Majority of those people suffering in the hand of police brutality and SARS are majorly innocents Nigerians and some few yahoo yahoo boys who refused to bribe them


Apart from EFCC going after the yahoo boys and arresting prosecuting them. SARS have never arrested any yahoo criminals for prosecution but only to collect money from them, back then in Maryland , Lagos, when these SARS men get information that these yahoo elements have collected money... SARS go to their houses to collect their own share or the criminals risks arrest ...look at how armed robbers are bursting the skulls of police in Ekiti, Osun, Offa Kwara State, where is the SARS, not 1 , not 2, not 3 ...yet we have SARS which functions is only on yahoo boys(with no intention to prosecute them) and innocent nigerians... They should ban the SARS and reform the police

The police need reform , they aren't not disciplined at all, they shoot anyhow , onlije the army, air force and Navy who meant to account for their rounds (bullets) and are not allow to sign any form of riffle when not on duty, but that cannot be said for the police as some go home with their riffle prompting the brutalities, and illegal duty posts everywhere, delivery some of the share to their superior for cover up... The police is a mess
