some of these companies are not scam, just mismanaged companies. for instance a guy makes like 300% on his original investment trading forex and suddenly gets the idea of paying people 250% and keeping 50%. sounds reasonable, therefore he jumps out. he neglects the fact that the market is not stable, neglects the fact that trading with other people's money makes you extra careful thereby reducing your number of trade. he forgets that there is a limit to how much he can handle and more often than not dips his hand into the clients' money. Before he knows it, he can no longer meet his obligations and has to shut down. he didn't start a scam but ended up a scam. There are good investment companies out there. coding is better but to your question. start by learning. learn html and php and you really have a good footing. someone who does not know coding can of course design great sites. yes sincerely. but when issues start arising you will be in soup. many people simply use joomla to drag and drop which is not very good. go for knowledge.

I am planning a five month training program covering various fundamental aspects of building an online business. I am therefore pulling together pros from the different areas we will be covering. About not being able to teach, it's a lie. everybody can teach no matter how badly
Anyway you would be doing more of mentoring which is helping them when they get stuck. If your bible is comprehensive enough then we are good to go. They will be working in groups, so all you do is give out the books, point out some important points, give them a practice project and sit back, supervise or better grade what they've done and make corrections where needed. Plus it will be entirely online. No contact, nor seminars and who knows you might see some brilliant web developers emerge that you might enjoy working with later.
The aim of the whole stuff is to train, empower and network emerging professionals. So what do you think on a more serious note?

If you are just starting out, you might not say that. Dream weaver was not built for Gurus like you. At your level perhaps, notepad becomes the "in thing".

Call it a coincidence or something. I was recently arguing with someone that i prefer fantastico over softaculous until I saw the updated version of softaculous. (I have not touched it since 2009). It was breath taking. where did I see it?
Right in my hosting account with syskay. Many people have actually pointed out that syskay's only deficiency was softaculous but as they have always done in the past, they rose up to the occasion. Now all syskay users can enjoy having both fantastico and softaculous together with the quality hosting that marks syskay.

it's not the issue of how much. you can't learn web designing in one day. Nigerians should learn that learning skills take time and building a business takes even longer time.

syskay is performance guaranteed. they don't have softaculous but fantastico which i consider better than softaculous

they might be good but i doubt if they will be able to really facebook. social networking is the youthful population and face book already got them.

sometimes if you are just starting out, it might be wise to have a hosting package that includes installers such as softaculous,fantastico etc. It helps you install most of these popular softwares. I use syskay as my web host. They offer fantastico no matter which hosting package you are on. You might want to consider later on. If you really want to proceed, i guess you should get trained in web development. it would help you not just now but also in future.

I believe the basic reason is what yawa-ti-de mentioned.
no extra content. pictures can load easily if compressed but all that flash, java script and other client side codes are the reasons many site don't load on time.
Additionally, i believe they are using a good server.

If you believe you can't and won't get the job, chances are that you would most probably not get it. It is mind blowing to see many people going for an interview talk. "I know i won't get it but i just want try my luck". Little wonder many are rejected. You must learn to carry a positive attitude. It will reflect in everything you do from how you package your C.V to your dressing and even the way you respond to questions. Infact many people have had their names mentioned in high and mighty places simply because of the way they approach issues. Their enthusiasm, dedication, sense of responsibility are radiated in the way they handle anything. If you are ever going to get to the peak that you desire it is important you know that your attitude matters a lot when it comes to who makes the "final list". If you usually find yourself losing confidence before an interview then you've got work to do. Spend sometime going through motivational, mind lifting books, listening to tapes or even going going through confidence building quotes to get your confidence high. Your level of confidence alone can get you the job sometimes because employers are looking for who can do the job best but if you are not confident enough to let them know you can then the job will definitely go to the person who BELIEVES and SAYS I CAN.
I guess it is worth mentioning that there is no confidence builder like PREPARATION.
The more prepared you are for the job the more confident you will be. We will get to talk about preparation later on but you've got to brush up your attitude. Most times people call this quality charisma but i make bold to say that this charisma can be acquired and if it can why not go that extra length especially when you know that it could make all the difference. Give yourself a chance at that job today, begin building your attitude today.
